図1~図3を参照しつつ本発明の第1実施形態を説明する。図1に示すように、フューエルリッド1は、乗用車などの車体2に形成された円形の開口2aを開閉するものである。開口2aの内側の略中心には、燃料タンクから延びる給油管の先端部である給油口5が配置されている。この給油口5がフューエルリッド1の開閉により露出または閉塞される。なお、給油口5にはキャップ(不図示)が取り付けられる。
<シールゴム>
給油口5の周囲には、給油口5との間に所定の間隔をあけて給油口5を囲むように環状(リング状)のシールゴム4が配置されている。シールゴム4は開口2a内において車体2に取り付けられる。シールゴム4は、所定の厚みを有する環状のゴムであって、例えば、車体2の表面に沿って流れてくる雨水などが給油口5部分に流れ込まないようにする。
<当接板部>
係止部8の先端部の端には、フューエルリッド1の閉状態において、車体2に設けられた環状のシールゴム4に当接可能な当接板部9が形成されている。この当接板部9は、例えば鋼板材からなる。
(第2実施形態)
図4~図6を参照しつつ本発明の第2実施形態を説明する。なお、第1実施形態における部材と同様の部材については同一の符号を付している。
(作用および効果)
上記各実施形態では、給油口5を囲むように車体2に設けられた環状のシールゴム4を、フューエルリッド1のガタツキを防止する部品として利用している。環状のシールゴム4の内周面の寸法精度は確保し易い。すなわち、環状のシールゴム4の内周面の寸法精度は容易に高くすることができる。また、環状のシールゴム4は、正しい組み付け位置から多少回転した状態で車体2へ組み付けられたとしても、形状が環状であるため、その断面形状は変わらない(当接板部とシールゴム4の当接部との間の位置関係にほとんど変化は生じない)。

- ヒンジにより車体に取り付けられるフューエルリッドの支持構造において、
前記車体の給油口を囲むように車体に設けられた環状のシールゴムであって、上面および内周面を有するシールゴムと、
前記フューエルリッドの裏面に設けられ、当該フューエルリッドが閉状態にあるときに前記シールゴムに当接可能な当接板部と、
を備え、
前記当接板部は、前記シールゴムの上面に当接する上面当接部と、前記シールゴムの内周面に当接する内面当接部と、を有する、フューエルリッドの支持構造。 - 請求項1に記載のフューエルリッド支持構造において、
前記フューエルリッドの裏面に配置されるとともに前記ヒンジが固定されるフューエルリッドインナーパネルをさらに備え、
