Abstract
Description
図2には、車両前部構造10が適用された自動車Vの前部が模式的な側面図にて示されており、図3には、自動車Vの前部が模式的な平面図にて示されている。これらの図に示される如く、自動車Vの前端側には、パワーユニット12が配設されたパワーユニット室14が配置されている。この実施形態におけるパワーユニット12は、車輪としてのフロントホイールWfを駆動するための駆動源として内燃機関であるエンジン12Eを含んで構成されている。パワーユニット12は、エンジン12Eに加えてフロントホイールWf駆動用の電気モータを含むハイブリッド型として構成とされても良い。
上記の通り内燃機関であるエンジン12Eを含んで構成されるパワーユニット12が配設されたパワーユニット室14は、所謂エンジンルームとして捉えることができる。図2及び図3に示される如く、パワーユニット室14の車両前後方向の後端部は、車室Cとの間を隔てるダッシュパネル26にて規定されている。ダッシュパネル26は、フロアパネル28の車両前後方向の前端部に接合されている。
車両前部構造10では、消音装置22を構成するサブマフラ22Sと、断熱(遮熱)部材としてのヒートインシュレータ38とを含んで、走行風が冷却ユニット30を通過することを促進するための空気流促進(アシスト)構造40が構成されている。したがって、この実施形態では、サブマフラ22Sが本発明における排気系部品、マフラに相当する。以下、具体的に説明する。
次に、実施形態の作用を説明する。
Claims (4)
- 熱交換器と、
前記熱交換器の空気側流路を通過した空気流を、該熱交換器に対する車両後方で車両下向きの開口部から車外に排出させる排出流路を形成する流路部材と、
前端側から後端側に向けて徐々に狭くなる縮小流路を成し、前端側で車両フロア下から流入した走行風を増速して、前記排出流路における前記熱交換器と前記開口部との間から流出させる空気流促進構造と、
を備えた車両前部構造。 - 前記空気流促進構造は、
前記排出流路の開口部に対する車両前側に配置された排気系部品と、
前記排気系部品の少なくとも一部を、前記縮小流路の少なくとも一部が形成されるように車両前方及び上方から覆う断熱部材と、
を含む部材で構成されている請求項1記載の車両前部構造。 - 前記排気系部品は、車幅方向に長手となるように配置されると共に車両上下方向に扁平とされたマフラを含んで構成されている請求項2記載の車両前部構造。
- 前記排出流路内における前記熱交換器に対する車両後側でかつ前記縮小流路部が空気を流出させる部分に対する車両前側に設けられ、作動することで前記熱交換器を通過する空気流を生成し、車速が所定値を超えた場合に作動が禁止されるファンを備えた請求項1~請求項3の何れか1項記載の車両前部構造。
