- Embodiment 2 (example applied to the resin winding terminal 7) of the storage battery terminal portion of the present invention is shown in FIGS. 2 (a) and 2 (b).
- the rectangular parallelepiped storage battery terminal portion 1 has a cavity 1a into which a nut 6 is inserted and an insertion port 1b, and the nut 6 penetrating from the right side insertion port 1b to the left side in FIG. 2B is inserted.
- a cavity 1a is drilled.
- a bolt insertion hole 1c is formed from the upper surface toward the cavity 1a
- a bolt insertion hole 1d is formed from the front surface.
- Embodiment 2 as shown in FIG. 2B, the nut 6 is inserted into the cavity 1a from the insertion port 1b of the terminal portion 1 and fixed.
- the bolt insertion hole 1c on the upper surface of the terminal portion 1 or the bolt insertion hole 1d on the front surface as necessary.
- a screw hole 6 a threaded from the top surface to the bottom surface of the rectangular nut 6 and threading from the front surface to the back surface.
- a nut that intersects with the screw hole 6b is adopted.
- the screw hole 6a threaded from the upper surface to the lower surface and the screw hole 6b threaded from the front surface to the back surface are preferably crossed at the center of the nut in order to use both efficiently. It can also be configured to intersect at a position slightly deviated from the center.
- the nut insertion method and the bolt insertion method are the same as in the first embodiment, but either the bolt insertion hole 1c on the upper surface of the terminal portion 1 or the bolt insertion hole 1d on the front surface is selected. Since the bolt is inserted into the nut 6, there is an effect that when the external lead wire is connected to the storage battery, even if the nut 6 is fixed, the upper surface or the front surface can be selected as necessary.
- two bolt insertion holes 1c on the upper surface of the terminal portion 1 and two bolt insertion holes 1d on the front surface in FIG. 2A are provided, and these bolt insertion holes correspond to these bolt insertion holes.
- an external lead wire is connected to the storage battery.
- two locations on the top surface, two locations on the front surface, and one location on the top surface and the front surface can be selected.
- the nut 6 is exposed on the side surface opposite to the insertion port 1b. This is fixed as described later. The nut 6 is struck and pushed out. When there is no exposed surface for pushing out the nut 6, a bolt insertion hole is provided on the side surface opposite to the insertion port 1b, and the insertion is performed in place of the screw hole 6b threaded from the front to the back. It is also possible to employ a nut 6 provided with a screw hole threaded from the side surface opposite to the port 1b toward the insertion port 1b.
- the outer shape of the nut 6 is a rectangular parallelepiped shape so as to match the cavity 1 a of the rectangular parallelepiped terminal portion 1.
- the nut 6 is formed so that the screw hole 6a is shifted to the left or right of the upper surface (lower surface) and the screw hole 6b is formed to be shifted to the right or left of the front surface (rear surface).
- the back surface is a horizontally long substantially rectangular shape and both side surfaces are substantially square.
- the cavity 1a of the terminal portion 1 has a shape that matches the outer shape of the nut, but the outer shape of the terminal portion 1 can be a cubic shape or a horizontally long rectangular parallelepiped shape.
- the aspect ratio of the terminal portion 1 is about 1: 1 to 1: 1.5. Since the terminal portion 1 is made of a lead alloy, and the bottom portion of the resin-wrapped terminal is usually formed thick, the terminal portion 1 may have a vertically long rectangular parallelepiped shape when the bottom portion is included. Further, the corners of the nut 6 may be all right angles, but some corners are chamfered so that the outer shape of one end of the nut 6 matches the end of the cavity 1a. Preferably, the outer shape of the portion does not match the end of the cavity 1a. By adopting this shape, erroneous insertion of the nut 6 can be prevented. For example, when the cross section of the nut 6 is shaped as shown in FIG.
- one end portion of the nut 6 is chamfered.
- a rounded shape or a protrusion is formed. It can also be provided or a recess can be provided.
- a protrusion is provided at one end of the nut, a recess capable of accommodating the protrusion is provided at a corresponding portion of the end of the cavity 1a.
- a recess is provided at one end of the nut, a protrusion that can be accommodated in the recess is provided at a corresponding position of the end of the cavity 1a.
- the outer shape of the other end of the nut does not coincide with the end of the cavity 1a when it is erroneously inserted.
- a cubic shape, a shape in which an end portion is deformed as described above, a shape in which a concave portion described later is provided, and the like are collectively referred to as a “cuboid shape”.
- the shape of the terminal portion 1 and the nut 6 is not limited to a rectangular parallelepiped shape, and may be a triangular prism, a triangular pyramid, a pentagonal prism, or the like. In short, as long as the bolt can be tightened from two or more directions, Independent of shape.
- a protruding portion protruding in the cavity direction is provided in a portion facing the cavity on the inner surface of the terminal portion. Since the fixing by this structure is due to the friction between the protrusion and the nut, it is easy to remove the nut by applying an external force exceeding the frictional force (for example, hit the exposed nut on the opposite side of the insertion slot) Can be pushed out). If there is no hole for pushing out the nut on the surface opposite to the insertion port, the nut may be provided with a protrusion (handle) and pulled out.
- the protrusion can be formed by inserting the nut into the terminal portion and then pressing and narrowing the insertion port, or by providing a recess in the side wall or ceiling.
- the side wall 1e of the terminal part 1 (the side wall on the back side opposite to the front side where the bolt insertion hole 1d is formed)
- a method of fixing the nut 6 by providing a recess 1f at a location where the bolt insertion hole 1d on the side wall is not drilled or by providing a recess at a location where the bolt insertion hole 1c on the ceiling is not drilled is adopted.
- the nut 6 is fixed by pressing a part of the side wall 1e of the terminal portion 1 with a punch or the like to provide a recess 1f as shown in FIGS. 1 (b) and 2 (b).
- the nut is used as the bolt insertion hole on the upper surface of the terminal portion 1 or the bolt on the front surface.
- a part of the side wall 1e of the terminal part 1 is similarly pressed with a punch or the like to provide a recess 1f as shown in FIG. What is necessary is just to fix by.
- the protrusion formed by machining on the side wall 1e other than the ceiling of the terminal portion is preferable to provide the protrusion formed by machining on the side wall 1e other than the ceiling of the terminal portion. This is because, as shown in FIGS. 1B and 2B, the pole column portion 2 or the resin portion 4 of the terminal portion 1 is inadvertently deformed when processing to form the protruding portion (dent 1f) is performed. This is because the problem of doing so can be avoided.
- the depression 1f When the depression 1f is provided by pressing the side wall 1e that faces the side wall having the bolt insertion hole, it is preferable to press the location on the back side corresponding to the bolt insertion hole 1d. In this case, it is preferable to provide the screw hole 6b of the nut 6 so as to penetrate from one side to the other. This is because it is possible to arrange a recess (protruding portion protruding in the cavity direction) 1 f provided in the side wall 1 e so as to fit into the screw hole 6 b of the nut 6. When such an arrangement is employed, since there is a space in which the protruding portion (dent) 1f protruding in the cavity direction is formed, the terminal portion 1 is prevented from being inadvertently deformed.
- a projection shape having an optimal size for deforming the wall is selected.
- the pair of side walls of the terminal portion may be sandwiched between tools, and depressions may be provided on both of the pair of side walls.
- a nut can be fixed also by providing a hollow in the two side walls which comprise a corner
- Embodiment 3 after inserting the nut 6 into the cavity 1a of the terminal portion 1, the nut 1 is fixed by narrowing the insertion port 1b by sandwiching it with a tool.
- the nut 6 is removed from the insertion port 1b of the cavity of the terminal portion 1 as shown in FIG. Place it in a deep position.
- the cavity 1a of the terminal portion 1 preferably has a wide nut insertion port 1b and a narrow back.
- the left and right side walls 1e of the terminal part 1 may be sandwiched with a tool to form a recess f.

Abstract
