Abstract

본 발명은 다공성 기재; 및 상기 다공성 기재의 적어도 일면에 형성되어 있으며, 커플링제가 표면에 코팅된 평균직경이 1 ~ 10 ㎛인 제1 무기물입자와 커플링제가 표면에 코팅된 평균직경이 50 ~ 500 nm인 제2 무기물입자 및 바인더 고분자의 혼합물을 포함하는 다공성 코팅층을 구비하는 세퍼레이터에 관한 것이다. 커플링제가 코팅된 이종의 무기물입자를 포함하는 다공성 코팅층을 구비하는 본 발명의 세퍼레이터의 제조방법은 메카노케미컬 반응을 최소화하여 불필요한 물질이 생성을 방지할 수 있으며, 기능성 입자의 도입이 용이하므로, 본 발명의 세퍼레이터는 열안전성이 우수할 뿐만 아니라, 기능성 입자의 도입으로 인하여 전기화학소자의 성능 저하를 방지할 수 있다.
