- the self-supporting thermosetting layer (1 .2) does not mean that all the layers that form it must necessarily be thermosetting material, it is enough that one of them is a thermosetting material.
- thermoplastic rear layer (1 .3) that protects the second self-supporting layer and prevents the leakage of adhesive preventing the mold and the roof covering from getting dirty.
- the previously described layers of the shaped laminated body (1) of the roof covering (10), are introduced into a mold (not shown) so that the second self-supporting thermosetting layer ( 1 .2) is located between the first upholstery layer (1 .1) and the third thermoplastic rear layer (1 .3). These layers (1, 1, 1, 2, 1, 3) are formed with press simultaneously with the final shape of the roof covering.
