- a fastener tape 11 and a plurality of metal fastener elements 21 are prepared.
- the fastener tape 11 is woven in a desired woven structure by inserting a weft by reciprocating the carrier bar into the warp opening using, for example, a loom.
- the fastener element 21 is formed into a predetermined shape separately from the fastener tape 11. Specifically, first, a long metal plate (rectangular wire) having a rectangular cross section is prepared, and the metal plate is subjected to press processing a plurality of times using a punch, and using a die. It is formed by punching into a predetermined shape.
- the surface treatment is performed on the fastener element 21 thus molded.
- the base polishing process (barrel polishing process), the chemical polishing process, and the plating process are sequentially performed as the base process of the fastener element 21.
- the substrate polishing treatment the unevenness formed on the outer surface of the fastener element 21 is polished by putting the fastener element 21 and the polishing grindstone into the barrel and then rotating the barrel. After the substrate polishing process is completed, the fastener element 21 is recovered from the barrel.

- the pattern 8 can be stably formed on the fastener chain without being interrupted between the fastener tape 11 and the fastener element 21.
- the pattern 8 printed on the fastener chain is the same color between the fastener tape 11 and the fastener element 21. Also excellent in properties.
- disperse dye-based ink is used for reasons such as the sharpness of the printed pattern 8 and the texture of the printed fastener tape 11.
