Abstract

본 발명은 화학식 1의 리튬 니켈-망간-코발트 산화물로 이루어진 양극 활물질로서, 상기 리튬 니켈-망간-코발트 산화물의 표면에 이온전도성 고체 화합물 및 도전성 카본이 도포되어 있는 양극 활물질을 제공한다. 본 발명에 따른 양극 활물질을 포함하는 리튬 이차전지는 레이트 특성과 고온 안전성이 향상되어 우수한 전지 특성을 발휘할 수 있다는 장점이 있다.
