Abstract

본 발명은 화학식 1로 표시되는 리튬 니켈-망간-코발트 산화물로 이루어진 양극 활물질로서, 상기 리튬 니켈-망간-코발트 산화물은 전체 전이금속 중 니켈의 함량이 40% 이상이고, 그것의 표면에 전도성 고분자가 도포되어 있는 양극 활물질을 제공한다. 본 발명에 따른 양극 활물질을 포함하는 리튬 이차전지는 고온 안전성을 향상시키면서도 전기 전도도를 저하시키지 않는 바, 고용량을 효과적으로 발휘할 수 있다는 장점이 있다.
