Abstract
본 발명은 리튬 이차전지용 양극 활물질로서 리튬 전이금속 산화물을 포함하고, 상기 리튬 전이금속 산화물의 표면에 탄소계 입자 및 고분자 수지가 도포되어 있으며, 상기 고분자 수지는 리튬 이차전지용 전해액과 유기용매에 불활성인 물질로서 융점이 80℃ 이상인 양극 활물질을 제공한다. 본 발명에 따른 양극 활물질을 포함하는 리튬 이차전지는 레이트 특성과 고온 안전성이 향상되어 우수한 전지 특성을 발휘할 수 있다는 장점이 있다.
