また、第1の突出部及び第2の突出部は、回転軸に垂直な断面において先端部が回転軸と同軸の円弧状を呈することにより、回転子とケーシングの突出部の間に適度のクリアランスを発生し、回転子を前記突出部に当接するまでは前記突出部1及び2と回転子に接触しない状態で回転させることができる。
また、ロック機構と回転子との間に回転子をシール状態に維持する付勢機構を備えることで、シール部がケーシングに当接した際の反動で回転式バルブの回転軸が受ける衝撃を該付勢機構で受け止めることになる。そして、駆動機構の駆動力により回転子のシール部がケーシングをさらに押圧すると、駆動機構のモータトルクが付勢機構に蓄えられ、モータが停止しても、当該付勢機構が回転子をシール状態に維持するように働くことになり、回転式バルブにおける回転子とケーシングとのシール性が向上する
前記第2の突出部は、前記第2の突出部の周方向一側に位置すると共に前記内周壁の周方向において前記第1の周方向端面と対向する第3の周方向端面と、前記第2の突出部の周方向他側に位置すると共に前記内周壁の周方向おいて前記第2の周方向端面と対向する第4の周方向端面を有し、
前記回転子は、前記回転軸を挟んで前記回転軸に垂直な方向の一側に配設される第1仕切部と前記回転軸に垂直な方向の他側に配設される第2仕切部を有し、
前記第1仕切部及び前記第2仕切部は、少なくとも前記回転軸の軸方向に延在する平板状を呈し、
前記第1仕切部は、その一方の面で少なくとも前記第1の突出部の前記第1の周方向端面と当接可能な第1当接部と、その他方の面で少なくとも前記第2の突出部の前記第3の周方向端面と当接可能な第2当接部を有し、
前記第2仕切部は、その一方の面で少なくとも前記第1の突出部の前記第1の周方向端面と当接可能な第3当接部と、その他方の面で少なくとも前記第2の突出部の前記第3の周方向端面と当接可能な第4当接部を有し、
前記回転子が一方に回転することによって、前記第1仕切部の前記第1当接部が前記第1の突出部の前記第1の周方向端面に当接し、前記第2仕切部の前記第4当接部が前記第2の突出部の前記第4の周方向端面に当接することにより、前記第1の流体通路と前記第2の流体通路との連通を遮断するシール状態となり、
前記回転子が他方に回転することによって、前記第1仕切部の前記第2当接部が前記第2の突出部の前記第3の周方向端面に当接し、前記第2仕切部の前記第3当接部が前記第1の突出部の前記第2の周方向端面に当接することにより、前記第1の流体通路と前記第2の流体通路との連通を遮断するシール状態となることにある。
図1は回転式バルブ装置の全体図、図2はケーシングに回転子を収容した回転式バルブの斜視図、図3、図5はバルブの付勢機構の作用図、図4、図6は回転式バルブの作用を示す断面側面図、図7はモータトルクとモータ電流との関係を示すグラフである。
ケーシング3は、第1の流通口5、第2の流通口6、第3の流通口7の3つの流通口を有する。また、ケーシング3には流体通路が2つ設けられ、第1の流体通路8は、第1の流通口5と、第3の流通口7と、第1の流通口5と第3の流通口7と連通する第1の連絡路9とを有し、第2の流体通路10は、第2の流通口6と、第3の流通口7と、第2の流通口6と第3の流通口7と連通する第2の連絡路11とを有する。
ケーシング3の第1突出部3Aは、第1の突出部3Aの周方向一側に第1の周方向端面31と、第1の突出部3Aの周方向他側に第2の周方向端面32を有している。第2の突出部3Bは、第2の突出部3Bの周方向一側に位置すると共に内周壁13の周方向において第1の周方向端面31と対向する第3の周方向端面33と、第2の突出部3Bの周方向他側に位置すると共に内周壁13の周方向おいて第2の周方向端面32と対向する第4の周方向端面34を有している。
また、回転子4の第1仕切部4Aは、その一方の面で第1の突出部3Aの第1の周方向端面31と当接可能な第1当接部41と、その他方の面で第2の突出部3Bの第3の周方向端面33と当接可能な第2当接部42を有する。回転子の第2仕切部4Bは、その一方の面で第1の突出部3Aの第1の周方向端面31と当接可能な第3当接部43と、その他方の面で第2の突出部3Bの第3の周方向端面33と当接可能な第4当接部44を有している。
図4では、第1の流通口5と第3の流通口7とが連通する第1の流体通路8に流体が流れるよう回転式バルブ1が切替えられている。このときの回転式バルブ装置の動作について以下、説明する。
このウォームギア22とヘリカルギア24で、駆動機構15による回転子4の回転を許可し、流体が回転子4に作用することにより回転子4が回転することを禁止するロック機構28が構成される。
こうすることで、回転式バルブ1の流体連通路の切替えは、モータ20の駆動力がウォームギア22からヘリカルギア24に伝達され、トーションスプリング26を介して回転式バルブ1の回転軸27で回転子4を回転させ、回転子4の仕切部4A、4Bをケーシング3の突出部3A、3Bに当接させて行う。
こうすることで、回転子4は、流体通路の切替え時に摺動抵抗を受けることなく回転できる。よって、その分必要なモータトルクは小さくてすむこととなり、小さなモータが利用できることとなる。
そうすることで、回転式バルブ1が必要とするシール面圧のモータトルクを超えるモータロックトルクがトーションスプリング26に蓄積され、トーションスプリング26で回転子の仕切部4A、4Bがケーシングの突出部3A、3Bに付勢し回転式バルブ1のシール性が向上するからである。
Claims (11)
- 流体通路を備えるケーシングと、
前記ケーシングに回転自在に配設され、回転することにより前記流体通路を流れる流体の流通状態を制御する回転子と、
前記回転子を回転させる駆動機構と、
前記駆動機構からの回転力を前記回転子に伝達すると共に、前記駆動機構の回転の非駆動時において前記回転子の回転を禁止するロック機構と、を備える回転式バルブ装置。 - 前記ロック機構は、前記駆動機構からの回転力の伝達経路上に設けられる請求項1記載の回転式バルブ装置。
- 前記ロック機構は、前記流体の流体圧が前記回転子に作用しても、前記回転子の回転を禁止する請求項1または2に記載の回転式バルブ装置。
- 前記流体通路は少なくとも第1の流体通路と第2の流体通路とを有し、
前記回転子は回転することにより、前記流体が前記第1の流体通路と前記第2の流体通路とのどちらか一方に流れるように制御する請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の回転式バルブ装置。 - 前記流体通路は、第1の流通口と、第2の流通口と、第3の流通口とを有し、
前記第1の流体通路は、前記第1の流通口と、前記第3の流通口と、前記第1の流通口と前記第3の流通口とを連通する第1の連絡路からなり、
前記第2の流体通路は、前記第2の流通口と、前記第3の流通口と、前記第2の流通口と前記第3の流通口とを連通する第2の連絡路からなる請求項4記載の回転式バルブ装置。 - 前記ケーシングは、前記回転子を収容する収容空間を有し、
前記収容空間は、前記回転子の回転軸と同軸の円環状の内周壁に囲まれ、
前記内周壁は、前記収容空間に突出するとともに前記回転軸を挟んで対向する第1の突出部及び第2の突出部を有し、
前記第1の突出部及び前記第2の突出部は、前記回転軸に垂直な断面において先端部が前記回転軸と同軸の円弧状を呈する請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の回転式バルブ装置。 - 前記回転子が回転して前記回転子と前記ケーシングとが当接することによりシール状態となるシール部と、
前記ロック機構と前記回転子との間に前記回転子を前記シール状態に維持する付勢機構を備えてある請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載の回転式バルブ装置。 - 前記第1の突出部は、前記第1の突出部の周方向一側に第1の周方向端面と、前記第1の突出部の周方向他側に第2の周方向端面を有し、
前記第2の突出部は、前記第2の突出部の周方向一側に位置すると共に前記内周壁の周方向において前記第1の周方向端面と対向する第3の周方向端面と、前記第2の突出部の周方向他側に位置すると共に前記内周壁の周方向おいて前記第2の周方向端面と対向する第4の周方向端面を有し、
前記回転子は、前記回転軸を挟んで前記回転軸に垂直な方向の一側に配設される第1仕切部と前記回転軸に垂直な方向の他側に配設される第2仕切部を有し、
前記第1仕切部及び前記第2仕切部は、少なくとも前記回転軸の軸方向に延在する平板状を呈し、
前記第1仕切部は、その一方の面で少なくとも前記第1の突出部の前記第1の周方向端面と当接可能な第1当接部と、その他方の面で少なくとも前記第2の突出部の前記第3の周方向端面と当接可能な第2当接部を有し、
前記第2仕切部は、その一方の面で少なくとも前記第1の突出部の前記第1の周方向端面と当接可能な第3当接部と、その他方の面で少なくとも前記第2の突出部の前記第3の周方向端面と当接可能な第4当接部を有し、
前記回転子が一方に回転することによって、前記第1仕切部の前記第1当接部が前記第1の突出部の前記第1の周方向端面に当接し、前記第2仕切部の前記第4当接部が前記第2の突出部の前記第4の周方向端面に当接することにより、前記第1の流体通路と前記第2の流体通路との連通を遮断するシール状態となり、
前記回転子が他方に回転することによって、前記第1仕切部の前記第2当接部が前記第2の突出部の前記第3の周方向端面に当接し、前記第2仕切部の前記第3当接部が前記第1の突出部の前記第2の周方向端面に当接することにより、前記第1の流体通路と前記第2の流体通路との連通を遮断するシール状態となる請求項6に記載の回転式バルブ装置。 - 前記ロック機構がウォームギアを有する請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載の回転式バルブ装置。
- 前記付勢機構がばねを有する請求項1~9のいずれか一項に回転式バルブ装置。
- 前記シール部が弾性部材を有する請求項1~10のいずれか一項に記載の回転式バルブ装置。
