図3に、展開状態(電線に圧着する前の状態)におけるワイヤーバレル16の要部拡大平面図を示す。図3に示すように、ワイヤーバレル16は、図3おける上下方向に突出する一対の板状をなす。ワイヤーバレル16は、電線を圧着する前の状態において、図3の紙面を貫通する方向から見て、略矩形状をなしている。
本発明は上記記述及び図面によって説明した実施形態に限定されるものではなく、例えば次のような実施形態も本発明の技術的範囲に含まれる。
(1)本実施形態においては、各凹部18の孔縁は第1交差辺19Aと、第2交差辺19Bと、を備える構成としたが、これに限られず、各凹部18の孔縁は一つの交差辺19を備える構成としてもよい。このとき、交差辺19は、凹部18の孔縁のうち、電線11の端部側にのみ配されてもよいし、また、電線11の端部側と反対側に配されてもよい。
(2)本実施形態では、凹部18の孔縁は長方形状をなす構成としたが、凹部18の孔縁は、互いに平行な辺を有しない四角形、台形、平行四辺形、菱形、方形等、必要に応じて、任意の形状の四角形状としうる。
凹部18の孔縁を平行四辺形とした場合、各凹部18を、接続辺20の延びる方向に間隔を空けて並べて配する構成としてもよい。
(3)電線11の延び方向と、接続辺20のなす角度は、-10°から+10°の範囲に限定されない。
Claims (12)
- 電線の端末において露出する導体に抱き込むようにして圧着される圧着部を備え、
前記圧着部のうち前記電線が配される側の面には、複数の凹部が、前記圧着部に圧着された前記電線の延びる延び方向について間隔を空けて形成されており、且つ、前記凹部は、前記圧着部が前記電線に圧着される前の状態において、前記延び方向に対して交差する交差方向について間隔を空けて並んで形成されており、
前記圧着部が前記電線に圧着される前の状態において、前記凹部の孔縁は四角形状であり、前記凹部の孔縁を構成する少なくとも一つの辺は、前記延び方向に対して85°以上95°以下の角度で交差する交差辺とされており、
前記圧着部が前記電線に圧着される前の状態において、前記交差辺の長さ寸法は、前記交差方向について隣り合う前記凹部の交差辺同士の間隔以上の寸法に設定されており、且つ、前記延び方向について隣接して位置する複数の前記凹部の交差辺同士は、前記延び方向についてオーバーラップして配されている端子金具。 - 前記交差辺は、前記凹部の孔縁を構成する辺のうち、前記電線の端部側に位置している請求の範囲第1項に記載の端子金具。
- 前記交差辺は、前記凹部の孔縁を構成する辺のうち、前記電線の端部と反対側に位置している請求の範囲第1項に記載の端子金具。
- 前記交差辺は、前記凹部の孔縁を構成する辺のうち、前記電線の端部側に位置する第1交差辺と、前記凹部の孔縁を構成する辺のうち、前記電線の端部と反対側に位置する第2交差辺と、からなる請求の範囲第1項に記載の端子金具。
- 前記圧着部が前記電線に圧着される前の状態において、前記交差方向についての、前記凹部のピッチ間隔P1は、0.1mm以上0.8mm以下である請求の範囲第1項ないし請求の範囲第4項のいずれか一項に記載の端子金具。
- 前記凹部は金属板材を金型によりプレス加工して形成されてなり、前記圧着部が前記電線に圧着される前の状態において、前記交差方向について隣り合う前記凹部同士の間隔は、0.1mm以上であって、且つ、前記交差方向における前記凹部のピッチ間隔P1の二分の一以下である請求の範囲第5項に記載の端子金具。
- 前記圧着部が前記電線に圧着される前の状態において、前記延び方向についての、前記凹部のピッチ間隔P2は、0.3mm以上0.8mm以下である請求の範囲第1項ないし請求の範囲第6項のいずれか一項に記載の端子金具。
- 前記凹部は金属板材を金型によりプレス加工して形成されてなり、前記圧着部が前記電線に圧着される前の状態において、前記延び方向について隣り合う前記凹部同士の間隔は、0.1mm以上であって、且つ、前記延び方向における前記凹部のピッチ間隔P2から0.1mmを差し引いた値以下である請求の範囲第7項に記載の端子金具。
- 前記圧着部が前記電線に圧着される前の状態において、前記凹部の孔縁と前記凹部の底面とは、前記凹部の底面から前記凹部の孔縁に向かうに従って拡開する四つの傾斜面によって接続されており、前記傾斜面のうち前記交差辺と前記凹部の底面とを接続する交差傾斜面と、前記圧着部のうち前記電線が配される側の面であって且つ前記凹部が形成されていない部分の面と、のなす角度αは、90°≦α≦110°である請求の範囲の範囲第1項ないし第8項のいずれか一項に記載の端子金具。
- 導体を含む電線と、前記電線の端末に圧着される請求の範囲第1項ないし請求の範囲第9項のいずれか一項に記載の端子金具と、を備えた端子付き電線。
- 前記導体はアルミニウム又はアルミニウム合金からなる請求の範囲第10項に記載の端子付き電線。
- 前記圧着部により圧着された前記導体の圧縮率を、前記圧着部が圧着された後の前記導体の断面積の、前記圧着部が圧着される前の前記導体の断面積に対する百分率としたとき、前記圧縮率は、40%以上70%以下である請求の範囲第10項または請求の範囲第11項に記載の端子付き電線。
