ピストンケース26は、筐体12の内壁面に沿って設けられた略円筒形状の部材であって、外周面側に薬剤投与ボタン19、内周面側に、ピストン22、シリンジ検出スイッチ23、シリンジカバー検出部24、ピストン駆動用モータ27、シリンジ識別部31が設けられている。
ピストン22は、製剤シリンジ15の後端部に設けられたシールゴム15bに当接しながら前進して投与側に向かって製剤を押し出す。
シリンジ識別部31は、製剤シリンジ15に付されたID15dを読み取って製剤シリンジ15が挿入されたことを検出するとともに、製剤シリンジ15の種類等を判別する。
ここでは、本実施形態における薬剤投与装置11の操作方法について、図4から図9を用いて説明する。
次に、図7に示すように、人体の皮膚等に当接する先端キャップ13が、筐体12の薬剤投与側の先端部に装着される。なお、先端キャップ13の中央には、穿刺針28を通過させる開口部13bが形成されている。
つまり、先端キャップ13を皮膚30に対して当接させて薬剤投与ボタン19を押下すると、図示しないピストンケース駆動モータによってピストンケース26全体が筐体12に対して穿刺方向(図中左方向)に約10mmスライドする。そして、穿刺針28の先端が、先端キャップ13から露出して皮膚30から皮下30aに到達する。
本実施形態では、以上のように、製剤が入った製剤シリンジ15をシリンジカバー14内に装着し、生体等に製剤を投与可能な薬剤投与装置11において、製剤シリンジ15を保持するシリンジカバー14と、シリンジカバー14を着脱自在に装着するピストンケース26を備えている。
よって、これらの検出機能によって、不意に思いがけない箇所で動作を行うことがなくなり、安全な薬剤投与装置11を提供することができる。
本発明の他の実施形態に係る薬剤投与装置に使用されるシリンジカバー114の構成について、図10~図13を用いて説明すれば以下の通りである。なお、上述の実施形態1と共通する構成については、同一の符号を付し、その説明を省略する。
本発明のさらに他の実施形態に係る薬剤投与装置111について、図2、図14~図20を用いて説明すれば以下の通りである。なお、上述の実施形態1、2と共通する構成については、同一の符号を付し、その説明を省略する。
ハウジング14dは、製剤シリンジ15をシリンジカバー14の内部に収納可能にするための略筒状の部分である。
シールゴム15aは、容器15fの先端部側をシールしている。シールゴム15bは、円板形状の部材であって、その円周面が容器15fの内周面に当接しており、製剤シリンジ15の後端部側をシールしている。また、シールゴム15bは、外力によって、容器15fの内周面に沿って、すなわちシールゴム15bの円周面が容器15fの内周面に対し摺動しながら変位することができる。これにより、容器15f内の製剤29を保持および保存しつつ、後述するピストン22によってシールゴム15bが押圧されたときには、製剤29に圧力を付与することが可能になる。
ピストンケース26は、筐体12の内周面側に設けられている筒状の部材であって、その内周面側に着脱用溝26aが形成されている。この着脱用溝26aは、上述のように、シリンジカバー14の外周面に形成されている着脱用突起14aと嵌まり合うように形成されている。
ここでは、本実施形態における薬剤投与装置111の操作方法について、図15から図20を用いて説明する。
次に、図18に示すように、人体の皮膚等に接触する先端キャップ13が、筐体12の薬剤投与側の先端部に装着される。なお、先端キャップ13の中央には、穿刺針28を通過させる開口部13bが形成されている。
つまり、先端キャップ13を皮膚30に対して当接させて薬剤投与ボタン19を押下すると、図示しないピストンケース駆動モータによってピストンケース26全体が筐体12に対して穿刺方向(図中左方向)に約10mmスライドする。そして、穿刺針28の先端が、先端キャップ13から露出して皮膚30から皮下30aに到達する。
また、本実施形態では、シリンジホルダ21内にシリンジ検出スイッチ23が設けられている。これにより、製剤シリンジ15の装着を確実に検出することができる。
よって、これらの検出機能により、不意に種々の動作が作動することもなくなり、安全な薬剤投与装置を提供することができる。
本発明のさらに他の実施形態に係る薬剤投与装置に使用されるシリンジホルダ212の構成について、図21を用いて説明すれば以下の通りである。なお、上述の実施形態1~3と共通する構成については、同一の符号を付し、その説明を省略する。
これにより、使用者は、シリンジカバーの内部を確認することができるため、シリンジホルダに製剤シリンジを装着し、製剤シリンジをシリンジカバーで覆った状態で、製剤シリンジの有無や種類、あるいは製剤の残量等を目視で確認することができる。
これにより、当該装置本体へのシリンジカバーの装着の有無を確実に検出することができる。したがって、例えば、シリンジカバーが装着されていない状態では薬剤投与装置の動作を行なわないようにすることができる。
本実施形態の薬剤投与装置は、上述した実施形態に係る薬剤投与装置であって、シリンジカバー検出部は、シリンジカバー検出レバーと、シリンジカバー検出レバースプリングと、シリンジカバー検出スイッチと、を含む。シリンジカバー検出レバースプリングは、シリンジカバー検出レバーを一方向から付勢する。シリンジカバー検出スイッチは、シリンジカバー検出レバーによってON/OFFを切り替える。
従来、製剤を生体に簡易に投与するための薬剤投与装置として、電動で穿刺針を生体に穿刺し、製剤を注入した後に抜針する薬剤投与装置が実用化されている。
本発明のさらに他の実施形態に係る薬剤投与装置320について、図23から図26(a)を用いて説明すれば以下の通りである。
シリンジカバー323は、シリンジホルダ326に一時的に保持される製剤シリンジ322の先端部側からインナーケース325に装着可能で、一端に針部305を装着する針部装着部323aが形成される透明もしくは半透明の部材である。他端には、シリンジホルダを装着する際に作用する装着方向傾斜面323dと脱着する際に作用する脱着方向傾斜面323eを持ち、装着方向傾斜角323fと脱着方向傾斜角323gに示すように両者の傾斜角は異なった角度になっている。また、着脱用ダボ323bがインナーケース325に設けたシリンジカバー着脱用溝325aにガイドされる。さらに、着脱時に保持する外筒部に滑り防止用のリブ323cを設けている。
インナーケース325は、本体部321に対しスライド動作可能で、内部に製剤シリンジ322を保持するシリンジホルダ326と、これを一方向から付勢するシリンジホルダ付勢バネ327を構成する。
ここでは、本発明の一実施形態に係る薬剤投与装置320の操作について、図23から図26(a)を用いて説明する。
シリンジカバーの装着力 ≦ 針部の脱着力 ≦ シリンジカバーの脱着力。
次に、シリンジカバー323の一端にある針部装着部323aに針部305を回転させて取り付け、先端キャップ部324を装着し、保護キャップと針キャップとを取り外すことで、薬液を投与する前準備が完了する。
本発明のさらに他の実施形態に係る薬剤投与装置を構成するシリンジカバー323とシリンジホルダ326の構成について、図26(b)を用いて説明する。
本実施形態の薬剤投与装置は、上述した実施形態に係る薬剤投与装置であって、シリンジカバーをインナーケースに装着する際に必要とする第1の力と、シリンジカバーをインナーケースから脱着する際に必要とする第2の力とが異なるように設定されている。
従来、製剤を生体に簡易に投与するための薬剤投与装置として、電動で穿刺針を生体に穿刺し、製剤を注入した後に抜針する薬剤投与装置が実用化されている。
本発明のさらに他の実施形態に係る薬剤投与装置420について、図28から図32を用いて以下に説明する。
本体部421は、薬剤投与装置420の主要な部分で、投与動作の制御を行ったり、表示したり、投与開始ボタンによって操作されたりして、薬剤投与動作および操作の主要機能を有する。
先端キャップ部424は、針が露出して生体に刺し込まれ、薬液を注入可能にできる先端開口部424a、本体部421と着脱する際の目印標示となる装着開始位置マーク424b、装着完了位置マーク424cを有する。また、図31(a)および図31(b)に示すように、本体部421の先端キャップガイド溝421aを利用して着脱するための先端キャップガイド用突起424d、シリンジカバー423の放射状に突き出た凸部423eと係合する係合用突起424eを有する。
ここでは、本発明の一実施形態に係る薬剤投与装置420について、図28から図32を用いて説明する。
図32(a)は、シリンジカバー423の装着が不完全な状態を示し、図32(b)は、先端キャップ424に誘導されて、シリンジカバー423の装着が完全にされた状態を示している。なお、図32(a)及び図32(b)とも、先端開口部424a側から製剤シリンジ422方向を見た図である。これらの操作によって、薬液を投与する前準備が完了する。
本実施形態の薬剤投与装置では、シリンジカバーは、シリンジカバーの中心軸を中心に対称な位置または等間隔に配置された凸部を複数有している。
従来、製剤を生体に簡易に投与するための薬剤投与装置として、電動で穿刺針を生体に穿刺し、製剤を注入した後に抜針する薬剤投与装置が実用化されている。
その後、針部1505が針部装着部1503eに回転させて取り付けられ、フロントキャップ1506がフロントケース部1503bに真っ直ぐ挿入され装着される。フロントキャップ1506の外形は、概略円筒形状であって、その先端に形成されたフロントキャップ開口部1506aも概略円形状である。
本発明のさらに他の実施形態に係る薬剤投与装置520について、図34から図37を用いて説明すれば以下の通りである。
本体部521は、先端キャップガイド溝521a、位置合せマーク521b、先端キャップ検出レバー521c、表示部521d、薬剤投与ボタン521eを有する。先端キャップガイド溝521aは、先端キャップ部524を着脱する際のガイドになる。位置合せマーク521bは、先端キャップ部524が容易に着脱できるような目印となる。先端キャップ検出レバー521cは、先端キャップ部524が確実に装着されたことを検出する。表示部521dは、バッテリーの充電残量や操作する上で必要な各種の情報を表示する。薬剤投与ボタン521eは、薬剤を投与する準備が完了した後、薬剤投与時に押下される。
先端キャップ部524は、両端に開口部を有した略円筒形状をしている。そして、その内周面は、注入のための針505aや製剤シリンジ522を装着したシリンジカバーが移動可能な構造となっている。また、先端キャップは、製剤を注入する時の生体である皮膚に当接する部分であり、針505aと皮膚との距離を一定にすることで、注入のための注射の深さを一定化させる機能も有している。これにより、注射時の痛みを軽減することができる。
図36に示すように、先端キャップ524の先端開口部524aの内側部分は、テーパ形状524eを有している。指527を先端開口部524aの長穴形状524j側(図35(a)参照)から針キャップ505bが把持され、指527を回転させた際、針キャップ505bが外れる方向に持ち上がることで操作を容易にしている。つまり、針キャップ505bを摘んだ指527を回転させる操作だけで、指527が、先端開口部524aの内部形状に沿って、先端キャップ524の外部に押される。このために、針キャップ505bを引き抜くという操作も連動され、容易に針キャップ505bの取り外しが可能である。これは実用上、非常に有効である。
ここでは、本実施形態における薬剤投与装置520の操作方法について、図34から図37を用いて説明する。
以上のように、本実施形態においては、製剤が入った製剤シリンジ522が装填されて生体等に製剤を投与可能な薬剤投与装置520が、製剤を投与する針505aが着脱可能で、製剤シリンジ522を本体部521に装着するシリンジカバー523と、シリンジカバー523を覆い本体部521と着脱可能に嵌まり合い生体と当接する先端開口部524aを有する先端キャップ524と、を備えている。そして、先端キャップ524は、先端開口部524aの形状が指を入れやすい部分と、皮膚に当てたときの肉の盛り上がりを防ぐ部分を併せ持つ形状であると共に、単独で置いても転がりにくい形状を有するものである。
本実施形態に係る薬剤投与装置に使用される先端キャップ624の構成について、図38を用いて説明する。
先端キャップ624の装着が完了後、先端開口部624aを通して、針部505の保護キャップ505cが把持されて取り外される。次に、針キャップ505bが把持され、針部505から取り外される際、先端開口部624aのえぐり形状の箇所から指を入れて回動操作すれば、針キャップ505bが先端方向に移動され、簡単に取り外しができる。
本実施形態に係る薬剤投与装置に使用される先端キャップ724の構成について、図39を用いて説明する。
本実施形態に係る薬剤投与装置に使用される先端キャップ824の構成について、図40を用いて説明する。
本実施形態の薬剤投与装置は、上述した実施形態に係る薬剤投与装置であって、先端キャップは、生体に当接する部分を有しているため、生体にやさしい樹脂系材料により形成されている。
本発明の薬剤投与装置によれば、針の保護キャップおよび針キャップをはずす操作が容易で、先端キャップ単独でも転がりにくく、安全で取り扱いやすい薬剤投与装置を提供することが可能になる。

請求項34または35に記載の薬剤投与装置。 - 前記先端キャップの前記先端開口部の内側形状は、前記針を指により取り出すときに、針を掴んだ指を、針の軸を中心に回転させることで、針が抜ける方向に離間するテーパ形状を有する、
請求項34から36のいずれか1項に記載の薬剤投与装置。 - 前記先端キャップの前記先端開口部の内側形状は、略円形状と長穴形状を組合せた形状としている、
請求項34から37のいずれか1項に記載の薬剤投与装置。 - 前記先端キャップは、外形の断面形状が多角形状、または楕円形状、あるいは略三角形状である、
請求項34から38のいずれか1項に記載の薬剤投与装置。 - 前記先端キャップの側面には、前記本体部に装着された前記製剤が封入された前記製剤シリンジの製剤を視覚的に確認可能なように、切り欠き部を有する、または透明部材もしくは半透明の部材で形成された窓が、少なくとも1つ以上設けられている、
請求項34から39のいずれか1項に記載の薬剤投与装置。 - 前記先端キャップは、前記本体部の所定の位置に係合するガイドを有し、回転させることによって前記本体部に対して着脱自在である、
請求項34または37に記載の薬剤投与装置。 - 前記先端キャップを前記本体部の所定の位置に装着したときに、前記本体部の表面部分に設けられた表示部と前記先端キャップの側面に設けられた窓とが同一面に配置される、
請求項41に記載の薬剤投与装置。 - 前記先端キャップと前記本体部との装着位置合わせのための目印が設けられている、
請求項34、37または41に記載の薬剤投与装置。 - 前記先端キャップの先端開口部は、指を挿入可能な立体的に湾曲した形状をしている、
請求項34に記載の薬剤投与装置。 - 前記先端キャップは、複数の部材で構成されており、
そのうちの少なくとも1つの部材は、薬剤投与する方向と平行な方向を中心軸として回動可能である、
