Abstract

　基材と、当該基材の表面に被膜が設けられる画像形成装置用部材において、基材の表面形状を維持できるように被膜を形成する。ゴムあるいは樹脂からなる基材と、該基材の表面に金属、金属酸化物、金属炭化物、金属窒化物あるいは金属硫化物からなる金属被膜を備えている。該金属被膜は、チタン、アルミニウム等をイオンプレーティングして形成している導電性被膜としている。
