Abstract

【課題】ディスプレー用、電子ペーパー用の基材、特にベース材として有用な3,3’,4,4’-ビフェニルテトラカルボン酸二無水物を含む酸成分と、p-フェニレンジアミンを含むジアミン成分とから得られる片面が平滑性を有するポリイミドフィルムを提供すること。 【解決手段】3,3’,4,4’-ビフェニルテトラカルボン酸二無水物を含む酸成分とp-フェニレンジアミンを含むジアミン成分とから得られ、充填剤を含むポリイミド前駆体溶液からなる自己支持性フィルムの一方の表面に、3,3’,4,4’-ビフェニルテトラカルボン酸二無水物を含む酸成分とp-フェニレンジアミンを含むジアミン成分とから得られる充填剤を含まないポリイミド前駆体溶液を塗布して複合体フィルムを形成する工程、そして該複合体フィルムを加熱してイミド化する工程を含む方法によりポリイミドフィルムを製造する。
