Abstract

容量が高く、かつ充放電サイクル特性に優れたリチウムイオン二次電池を製造するための電極用スラリーの製造方法を提供する。電極活物質、カルボキシメチルセルロース、結着剤および水を含有するリチウムイオン二次電池電極用スラリーを製造する方法において、異なる範囲の水溶液粘度を有する2種類のカルボキシメチルセルロースを用い、かつ、下記工程(1)~(3)を有する製造方法により電極用スラリーを製造する。  (工程1)より低粘度のカルボキシメチルセルロースを水に溶解し、水溶液(A’)を調製する工程  (工程2)前記水溶液(A’)と前記電極活物質とを混合し、混合物(A’’)を調製する工程  (工程3)より高粘度のカルボキシメチルセルロースと結着剤を混合する工程
