Abstract

乗員室内の空気をバッテリ用ブロワーファンの駆動により吸気してバッテリに送風する室内吸気モードとエアコン(エバポレータ)により冷却された空気をバッテリ用ブロワーファンの駆動により吸気してバッテリに送風するA/C吸気モードとをダンパにより切り替える際、車速Vが所定車速Vref以上のときには直ちにダンパを切り替え(S240~S260)、車速Vが所定車速Vref未満のときにはバッテリ用ブロワーファンの駆動を所定量Qlimまで制限してからダンパを切り替える(S220~S260)。これにより、ダンパの切替に伴う風切り音の発生を抑制できるから、運転者や乗員に違和感を与えるのを抑制することができる。

背景技術
[0002] 従来、この種の冷却システムとしては、車両に搭載され、車室内や車室外から空気 を吸気してバッテリに送風する通路とエバポレータにより冷却された空気を吸気して ノ ッテリに送風する通路とをダンバにより切り替えてバッテリを冷却するものが提案さ れている(例えば、特許文献 1や特許文献 2参照)。この冷却システムでは、バッテリ の温度などに基づいてダンパを切り替えることにより、ノ ッテリを適正な温度範囲内に 維持することができるとして 、る。

発明の開示
[0003] 上述した構成の冷却システムでは、バッテリを冷却する際にバッテリに送風するプロ ヮファンやダンバの作動に伴って風切り音などの異音が生じる。ノ ッテリの冷却は運 転者や乗員が知らないうちに行なわれるのが通常であるから、ノ ッテリを冷却する際 の異音の発生は運転者や乗員に違和感を与える。
[0004] 本発明の冷却システムおよび冷却システムの制御方法は、バッテリなどの蓄電装置 を冷却する際の異音による違和感を運転者や乗員に与えるのを抑制することを目的 とする。

[0006] 本発明の冷却システムは、自動車に搭載された蓄電装置を冷却する冷却システム であって、異なる場所の空気を吸気して前記蓄電装置に送風する複数の送風モード を有する送風手段と、前記複数の送風モードにおける各送風路の開通と遮断とを切 り替えることにより該複数の送風モードを切り替える送風モード切替手段と、前記送風 モード切替手段を介して前記蓄電装置に送風されている状態で前記送風モードの 切替要求がなされたとき、前記蓄電装置への送風が制限されるよう前記送風手段を 制御し、該蓄電装置への送風を制限した後に前記送風モードが切り替えられるよう前 記送風モード切替手段を制御し、該送風モード切替手段を切り替えた後に前記蓄電 装置への送風の制限が解除されるよう前記送風手段を制御する送風制限切替制御 を実行する制御手段と、を備えることを要旨とする。

[0008] こうした本発明の冷却システムにおいて、車室内における騒音の程度を検出または 推定する騒音程度検出推定手段を備え、前記制御手段は、前記検出または推定さ れた騒音の程度が所定程度未満のときには前記送風制限切替制御を実行し、前記 検出または推定された騒音の程度が前記所定程度以上のときには前記送風の制限 を行なわずに前記送風モードが切り替えられるよう前記送風モード切替手段を制御 する手段であるものとすることもできる。こうすれば、車室内の騒音に応じて送風モー ド切替手段の作動に伴って生じる風切り音などの異音がマスクされるのを利用して運 転者や乗員に違和感を与えるのを抑制することができる。この態様の本発明の冷却 システムにおいて、前記騒音程度検出推定手段は、車速を検出する車速検出手段 を備え、前記検出された車速に基づいて前記騒音の程度を設定する手段であるもの とすることもできるし、内燃機関を備える自動車に搭載された本発明の冷却システム において、前記騒音程度検出推定手段は、前記内燃機関の回転数を検出する機関 回転数検出手段を備え、前記検出された内燃機関の回転数に基づいて前記騒音の 程度を設定する手段であるものとすることもできるし、車室内に音声を調整可能な音 量をもって出力する音声出力手段を備える自動車に搭載された本発明の冷却システ ムにおいて、前記騒音程度検出推定手段は、前記音声出力手段における音量の調 整状態に基づいて前記騒音の程度を設定する手段であるものとすることもできる。
[0009] また、本発明の冷却システムにお 、て、車室内の空気調和を行なう空調装置を備 え、前記複数の送風モードは、車室内または車室外の空気を吸気して直接に前記蓄 電装置に送風する第 1の送風モードと、前記空調装置により冷却された空気を吸気 して前記蓄電装置に送風する第 2の送風モードとを含むものとすることもできる。

[0013] こうした本発明の冷却システムの制御方法において、車室内における騒音の程度 が所定程度未満のときには前記送風制限切替制御を実行し、車室内における騒音 の程度が前記所定程度以上のときには前記送風の制限を行なわずに前記送風モー ドが切り替えられるよう前記送風モード切替手段を制御する、ことを特徴とするものと することもできる。こうすれば、車室内の騒音に応じて送風モード切替手段の作動に 伴って生じる風切り音などの異音がマスクされるのを利用して運転者や乗員に違和 感を与えるのを抑制することができる。この場合、前記自動車は内燃機関を備え、前 記内燃機関の回転数に基づいて前記車室内の騒音の程度を判定して前記送風モ ード切替手段を制御する、ことを特徴とするものとすることもできる。また、前記自動車 は車室内に音声を調整可能な音量をもって出力する音声出力機器を備え、前記音 声出力機器における音量の調整状態に基づいて前記車室内の騒音の程度を判定し て前記送風モード切替手段を制御する、ことを特徴とするものとすることもできる。 図面の簡単な説明

発明を実施するための最良の形態
[0015] 次に、本発明を実施するための最良の形態を実施例を用いて説明する。図 1は、本 発明の一実施例としてのノ、イブリツド自動車 20の構成の概略を示す構成図であり、 図 2は、実施例のノ ッテリ 46の冷却システム 60の構成の概略を示す構成図である。 実施例のハイブリッド自動車 20は、図 1に示すように、エンジン 22と、エンジン 22のク ランクシャフト 26にキャリアが接続されると共にデフアレンシャルギヤ 31を介して駆動 輪 32a, 32bに連結された駆動軸 34にリングギヤが接続された遊星歯車機構 28と、 遊星歯車機構 28のサンギヤに接続された発電可能なモータ MG 1と、駆動軸 34に 動力を入出力するモータ MG2と、インバータ 42, 44を介してモータ MG1, MG2と 電力をやりとりするノ ッテリ 46と、乗員室 90内を空気調和するエアコンディショナ(以 下、エアコンという) 50と、エアコン 50により冷却された空気を用いてバッテリ 46を冷 却可能な冷却システム 60と、乗員室 90の運転席前方のコンソールパネルに組み込 まれチューナ(図示せず)や音声出力するスピーカ 89aや音量調整ボタン 89bなどを 備えるオーディオ機器 89と、車両の駆動系をコントロールすると共に実施例の冷却シ ステム 60をコントロールするハイブリッド用電子制御ユニット 70とを備える。
[0016] エンジン 22は、エンジン 22の運転状態を検出する各種センサ力もの信号、例えば 、エンジン 22のクランクシャフト 26に取り付けられたクランクポジションセンサ 23から のクランクポジションを入力するエンジン用電子制御ユニット(以下、エンジン ECUと いう) 24により燃料噴射制御や点火制御,吸入空気量調節制御などの運転制御を受 けている。エンジン ECU24は、ハイブリッド用電子制御ユニット 70と通信しており、ハ イブリツド用電子制御ユニット 70からの制御信号によりエンジン 22を運転制御すると 共に必要に応じてエンジン 22の運転状態に関するデータをハイブリッド用電子制御 ユニット 70に出力する。
[0017] モータ MG1, MG2は、モータ用電子制御ユニット(以下、モータ ECUという) 48に より駆動制御されている。モータ ECU48には、モータ MG1, MG2を駆動制御する ために必要な信号、例えばモータ MG1, MG2の回転子の回転位置を検出する図 示しない回転位置検出センサからの信号や図示しない電流センサにより検出される モータ MG1, MG2に印加される相電流などが入力されており、モータ ECU48から は、インバータ 42, 44へのスイッチング制御信号が出力されている。モータ ECU48 は、ハイブリッド用電子制御ユニット 70と通信しており、ハイブリッド用電子制御ュ-ッ ト 70からの制御信号によってモータ MG1, MG2を駆動制御すると共に必要に応じ てモータ MG1, MG2の運転状態に関するデータをノ、イブリツド用電子制御ユニット 70に出力する。
[0018] エアコン 50は、図 1および図 2に示すように、冷媒を圧縮し高温高圧のガス状にす るコンプレッサ 51と、圧縮された冷媒を外気を用いて冷却し高圧の液状にするコンデ ンサ 52と、冷却された冷媒を急激に膨張させ低温低圧の霧状にする膨張弁 53と、低 温低圧の冷媒と空気とを熱交換させることにより冷媒を蒸発させ低温低圧のガス状に するエバポレータ 54と、エバポレータ 54との熱交換により冷却された空気を乗員室 9 0に送るエアコン用ブロワ一ファン 55とを備え、エアコン用ブロワ一ファン 55を駆動す ることにより内気と外気とを切り替える内外気切替用ダンバ 56からフィルタ 57を介し て空気を吸気すると共に吸気した空気をエバポレータ 54により冷却して乗員室 90に 送り出す。
[0019] エアコン 50は、エアコン用電子制御ユニット(以下、エアコン ECUという) 59により 制御されている。エアコン ECU59には、乗員室 90内の温度を検出する温度センサ 9 2からの室内温度 Tinなどが入力されており、エアコン ECU59からは、コンプレッサ 5 1への駆動信号やエアコン用ブロワ一ファン 55への駆動信号,内外気切替用ダンバ 56への駆動信号,後述するモード切替用ダンバ 68への駆動信号などが出力されて いる。エアコン ECU59は、ハイブリッド用電子制御ユニット 70と通信しており、ハイブ リツド用電子制御ユニット 70からの制御信号によってエアコン 50を制御すると共にェ アコン 50の運転状態に関するデータをハイプリッド用電子制御ユニット 70に送信す る。
[0020] 冷却システム 60は、乗員室 90内の空気を吸気して直接にノ ッテリ 46に送ることに よりバッテリ 46を冷却し (以下、この冷却モードを室内吸気モードという)、又は、エア コン 50のエバポレータ 54により冷却された空気を吸気してバッテリ 46に送ることによ りバッテリ 46を冷却(以下、この冷却モードを AZC吸気モードと、う)できるよう構成 されている。冷却システム 60は、図 2に示すように、乗員室 90 (内気)とバッテリ 46とを 連通する空気管路 62と、空気管路 62上に設けられ吸気をバッテリ 46に送るバッテリ 用ブロワ一ファン 64と、エアコン用ブロワ一ファン 55からエバポレータ 54を通過した 空気の一部を空気管路 62におけるノ ッテリ用ブロワ一ファン 64の上流側に導く分岐 管 66と、空気管路 62と分岐管 66との合流部分に設けられ内気の遮断と分岐管 66の 遮断とを選択的に行なうモード切替用ダンバ 68とを備える。
[0021] ハイブリッド用電子制御ユニット 70は、 CPU72を中心としたマイクロプロセッサとし て構成されており、 CPU72の他に処理プログラムを記憶する ROM74と、データを 一時的に記憶する RAM76と、図示しない入出力ポートおよび通信ポートとを備える 。このハイブリッド用電子制御ユニット 70には、ノ ッテリ 46の温度を検出する温度セ ンサ 47aからの電池温度 Tbゃバッテリ 46の出力端子に取り付けられた電流センサ 4 7bからの充放電電流 lb,空気管路 62におけるバッテリ 46の入口付近に取り付けら れた温度センサ 69からの吸気温度 Tbi,イダ-ッシヨンスィッチ 80からのイダ-ッショ ン信号,シフトレバー 81の操作位置を検出するシフトポジションセンサ 82からのシフ トポジション SP,アクセルペダル 83の踏み込み量を検出するアクセルペダルポジショ ンセンサ 84からのアクセル開度 Acc,ブレーキペダル 85の踏み込み量を検出するブ レーキペダルポジションセンサ 86からのブレーキペダルポジション BP,車速センサ 8 8からの車速 V,音量調整ボタン 89bからの操作信号などが入力ポートを介して入力 されている。また、ハイブリッド用電子制御ユニット 70からは、バッテリ用ブロワーファ ン 64への駆動信号などが出力ポートを介して出力されている。ハイブリッド用電子制 御ユニット 70は、前述したように、エンジン ECU24やモータ ECU48,エアコン ECU 59と通信ポートを介して接続されており、エンジン ECU24やモータ ECU48,ェアコ ン ECU59と各種制御信号やデータのやりとりを行なっている。
[0022] 次に、こうして構成された実施例のノ、イブリツド自動車 20の動作、特に、バッテリ 46 を冷却する際の動作について説明する。図 3は、ハイブリッド用電子制御ユニット 70 により実行されるバッテリ冷却処理ルーチンの一例を示すフローチャートである。この ルーチンは、温度センサ 47aにより検出された電池温度 Tbが所定温度 (例えば 50°C )以上のときに所定時間毎 (例えば数十 msec毎)に繰り返し実行される。
[0023] ノ ッテリ冷却処理ルーチンが実行されると、ノ、イブリツド用電子制御ユニット 70の C PU72は、まず、温度センサ 69からの吸気温度 Tbiゃバッテリ 46の電池負荷 Lb,車 速センサ 88からの車速 V,エアコン 50の AZC風量 Qacなどの制御に必要なデータ を入力する処理を実行する (ステップ S 100)。ここで、ノ ッテリ 46の電池負荷 Lbは、 例えば、バッテリ 46の充放電電力(電流センサ 47bにより検出された充放電電流 lbの 2乗にバッテリ 46の内部抵抗を乗じた値)を所定回数に亘つて導出すると共にこれら の平均をとることにより求めることができる。また、エアコン 50の AZC風量 Qacは、乗 員室 90側に吹き出すべき風量として操作者により設定された設定風量や設定温度, 温度センサ 92からの室内温度 Tinなどに基づいて設定されたものをエアコン ECU5 9から通信により入力するものとした。
[0024] こうしてデータを入力すると、入力した吸気温度 Tbiと電池負荷 Lbと現在設定され ている冷却モード Mcとに基づいて冷却モード要求を判定する(ステップ S 110)。この 判定は、吸気温度 Tbiと電池負荷 Lbと現在設定されて 1、る冷却モード Mcと冷却モ ード要求判定用マップとに基づ!、て行なわれる。冷却モード要求判定用マップの一 例を図 4に示す。吸気温度 Tbiと電池負荷 Lbはバッテリ 46の温度 (電池温度 Tb)に 大きな影響を与えるパラメータとして考えることができるから、吸気温度 Tbiや電池負 荷 Lbが大きいときにはバッテリ 46の温度が大きく上昇するためバッテリ 46の冷却を 促進する必要があると判断して AZC吸気モードを要求し、吸気温度 Tbiや電池負荷 Lbが小さいときにはバッテリ 46の温度はそれ程大きくは上昇しないためバッテリ 46の 冷却を促進する必要はな 、と判断して室内吸気モードを要求するのである。現在設 定されて!/、る冷却モード Mcと今回判定した冷却モード Mcとが異なる場合は、冷却 モード Mcの切替を要求するものとなる。 [0025] 冷却モード Mcとして室内吸気モードが要求されると (ステップ S120)、入力した車 速 Vに基づ 、てバッテリ 46に送風すべき目標バッテリ風量 Qb *を設定し (ステップ S 130)、設定した目標バッテリ風量 Qb *でバッテリ用ブロワ一ファン 64を駆動制御し て (ステップ S180)、本ルーチンを終了する。ここで、室内吸気モード時の目標バッテ リ風量 Qb *は、実施例では、車速 Vと目標バッテリ風量 Qb *との関係を予め求めて マップとして ROM74に記憶しておき、車速 Vが与えられると記憶しているマップから 対応する目標バッテリ風量 Qb *を導出して設定するものとした。このマップの一例を 図 5に示す。車速 Vが大きくなると、走行に基づく騒音も大きくなり、運転者や乗員に 与える暗騒音も大きくなる。一方、ノ ッテリ用ブロワ一ファン 64の駆動は運転者や乗 員が知らないうちに行なわれるのが通常であるから、ノ ッテリ用ブロワ一ファン 64が大 きな回転数で駆動すると、駆動音により運転者や乗員に違和感ゃ不快感を与える場 合がある。実施例では、車速 Vが大きくなるほど大きくなる暗騒音によりバッテリ用プロ ヮーファ
ン 64の駆動音を大きくマスクすることができることを考えて、車速 Vが大きくなるほど 大きな目標バッテリ風量 Qb *でバッテリ用ブロワ一ファン 64を駆動することを許容す ることにより、運転者や乗員に違和感ゃ不快感を与えない範囲内でバッテリ用ブロワ 一ファン 64を駆動してバッテリ 46を冷却するのである。
[0026] 一方、冷却モード Mcとして AZC吸気モードが要求されると (ステップ S120)、入力 した車速 Vと AZC風量 Qacとに基づ 、て目標バッテリ風量 Qb *を設定すると共に( ステップ S 140)、設定した目標バッテリ風量 Qb *だけ AZC風量 Qacを増量するよう エアコン ECU59に指示し (ステップ S 150)、設定した目標バッテリ風量 Qb *でバッ テリ用ブロワ一ファン 64を駆動制御して(ステップ S180)、本ルーチンを終了する。 増量指示を受けたエアコン ECU59は、 AZC風量 Qacを目標バッテリ風量 Qb *の 分だけ増量させてエアコン用ブロワ一ファン 55を駆動する。したがって、目標バッテリ 風量 Qb *をもってエアコン用ブロワ一ファン 55から送風された空気を吸気してバッ テリ 46に送風するものとしても乗員室 90内の空気調和には何らの影響を受けない。 ここで、 AZC吸気モード時の目標バッテリ風量 Qb *は、実施例では、車速 Vと AZ C風量 Qacと目標バッテリ風量 Qb *との関係を予め求めてマップとして ROM74に 記憶しておき、車速 Vと AZC風量 Qacとが与えられると記憶しているマップ力も対応 する目標バッテリ風量 Qb *を導出して設定するものとした。このマップの一例を図 6 に示す。図示するように、 AZC吸気モード時の目標バッテリ風量 Qb *は、同一の車 速 Vでも室内吸気モード時の目標バッテリ風量 Qb *に比して小さな値として設定さ れる。これは、上述したように、 AZC吸気モード時には目標ノ ッテリ風量 Qb *の分 だけ AZC風量 Qacを増量してエアコン用ブロワ一ファン 55を駆動することから、バッ テリ用ブロワ一ファン 64の駆動音に比してエアコン用ブロワ一ファン 55の駆動音が大 きくなり、運転者や乗員は違和感ゃ不快感を感じやすくなることに基づいている。
[0027] ステップ S120で冷却モード Mcの切替要求がなされていると判定されると、冷却モ ード Mcを切り替えている最中にないと判定されたときには (ステップ S160)、モード 切替処理を開始する (ステップ S170)。そして、バッテリ用ブロワ一ファン 64を駆動制 御して (ステップ S180)、本ルーチンを終了する。図 7は、実施例のハイブリッド用電 子制御ユニット 70によりバッテリ冷却処理ルーチンと並行して実行されるモード切替 処理の一例を示すフローチャートである。以下、モード切替処理の詳細について説 明する。
[0028] モード切替処理では、ハイブリッド用電子制御ユニット 70の CPU72は、まず、車速 Vを入力し (ステップ S200)、入力した車速 Vと所定車速 Vrefとを比較する (ステップ S210)。ここで、所定車速 Vrefは、走行に基づく騒音によってモード切替用ダンバ 6 8を切り替える際に生じうる風切り音を十分にマスクすることができる程度の車速として 実験上求められたものを用いるものとした。車速 Vが所定車速 Vref以上と判定される と、直ちにモード切替用ダンバ 68が切り替えられるようエアコン ECU59に指示し (ス テツプ S240)、モード切替用ダンバ 68の切替が完了するのを待って(ステップ S250 )、切替完了フラグ Fに値 1を設定して (ステップ S260)、本処理を終了する。車速 V が大きいときには、走行に基づく騒音 (暗騒音)も大きくなるから、モード切替用ダン パ 68の切替の際に風切り音などの異音が生じても、生じた異音は暗騒音によってマ スクされ、運転者や乗員に違和感ゃ不快感を与えることがない。なお、モード切替用 ダンバ 68の切替が完了したか否かは、モード切替用ダンバ 68の切替に通常要する 時間よりも若干長い時間が経過した力否かを判定したり、モード切替用ダンバ 68の 位置を検知するセンサを設けてこのセンサからの信号に基づいて判定したりすること により行なうことができる。切替完了フラグ Fに値 1が設定されると、冷却モード Mcの 切替は完了したと判断し、次にステップ S120で冷却モード Mcの切替要求がなされ るまで、室内吸気モードに切り替えられたときには図 3のバッテリ冷却処理ルーチン のステツ
プ S130の処理に進み、 AZC吸気モードに切り替えられたときにはステップ S140の 処理に進んでそれぞれ処理が実行されることになる。
[0029] 一方、車速 Vが所定車速 Vref未満と判定されると、ノ ッテリ用ブロワ一ファン 64の 目標バッテリ風量 Qb *を所定量 Qlimまで制限し (ステップ S220)、ノ ッテリ 46への 実際の送風が所定量 Qlimまで低下するのに必要な所定時間が経過するのを待って (ステップ S230)、モード切替用ダンバ 68が切り替えられるようエアコン ECU59に指 示し (ステップ S240)、モード切替用ダンバ 68の切替が完了したときに(ステップ S25 0)、切替完了フラグ Fに値 1を設定して (ステップ S260)、本処理を終了する。ここで 、所定量 Qlimは、モード切替用ダンバ 68を切り替える際に生じる風切り音を運転者 や乗員に違和感や不快感を与えない範囲内に収めるための風量として実験上求め られたものを用いるものとした。このように走行に基づく騒音(暗騒音)が小さくモード 切替用ダンバ 68を切り替える際に生じる風切り音をマスクすることができないときには 、ノ ッテリ用ブロワ一ファン 64の目標バッテリ風量 Qb *を小さくしてモード切替用ダ ンパ 68の切替に伴う風切り音の発生を抑制することにより、運転者や乗員に違和感 や不'|~夬感を与えるのを抑制して 、るのである。
[0030] 図 8に車速 Vが所定車速 Vref未満のときに室内吸気モードから AZC吸気モード に切り替える際のバッテリ用ブロワ一ファン 64の風量とエアコン用ブロワ一ファン 55 の風量とモード切替用ダンバ 68の位置の時間変化の様子を示し、図 9に車速 Vが所 定車速 Vref未満のときに AZC吸気モード力 室内吸気モードに切り替える際のバ ッテリ用ブロワ一ファン 64の風量とエアコン用ブロワ一ファン 55の風量とモード切替 用ダンバ 68の位置の時間変化の様子を示す。図 8に示すように、時刻 tlに室内吸気 モード力 AZC吸気モードへの切替要求がなされると、バッテリ用ブロワ一ファン 64 の目標バッテリ風量 Qb *を所定量 Qlimまで制限し、時刻 t2にモード切替用ダンバ 6 8を AZC吸気モード側に切り替え、モード切替用ダンバ 68の切替が完了した時刻 t 3に目標バッテリ風量 Qb *の制限が解除されて AZC吸気モードによるバッテリ 46へ の送風を行なう。また、図 9に示すように、時刻 t4に AZC吸気モードから室内吸気モ ードへの切替要求がなされると、ノ ッテリ用ブロワ一ファン 64の目標バッテリ風量 Qb *を所定量 Qlimまで制限すると共に目標バッテリ風量 Qb *による AZC風量 Qacの 増量を解除し、時刻 t5にモード切替用ダンバ 68の位置を室内吸気モード側に切り 替え、モード切替用ダンバ 68の切替が完了した時刻 t6に目標バッテリ風量 Qb *の 制限が解除されて室内吸気モードによるバッテリ 46の送風を行なう。
[0031] 以上説明した実施例のハイブリッド自動車 20によれば、乗員室 90内の空気を吸気 して直接バッテリ 46に送風する室内吸気モードの空気管路 62とエアコン 50により冷 却された空気を吸気してバッテリ 46に送風する AZC吸気モードの分岐管 66をモー ド切替用ダンバ 68により選択的に遮断することにより冷却モード Mcを切り替えるもの において、送風モード Mcの切替要求がなされたとき、バッテリ用ブロワ一ファン 64の 風量(目標バッテリ風量 Qb * )を所定量 Qlimまで制限して力 モード切替用ダンバ 6 8を切り替えるから、モード切替用ダンバ 68の切替に伴う風切り音の発生を抑制する ことができる。この結果、運転者や乗員に違和感ゃ不快感を与えるのを抑制すること ができる。し力も、車速 Vが所定車速 Vref以上のときには、直ちに送風モード Mcが 切り替わるようモード切替用ダンバ 68を制御するから、走行に基づく騒音でモード切 替用ダンバ 68の切替に伴って生じる風切り音などの異音をマスクすることができ、運 転者や乗員に違和感ゃ不快感を与えるのを抑制することができる。
[0032] 実施例のハイブリッド自動車 20では、冷却モード Mcの切替要求がなされたとき、車 速 Vが所定車速 Vref未満のときにはバッテリ用ブロワ一ファン 64の目標バッテリ風量 Qb *を所定量 Qlimまで制限して力もモード切替用ダンバ 68を切り替え、車速 Vが 所定車速 Vref以上のときには直ちにモード切替用ダンバ 68を切り替えるものとした 1S 車速 Vに拘わらずバッテリ用ブロワ一ファン 64の目標バッテリ風量 Qb *を所定量 Qlimまで制限して力もモード切替用ダンバ 68を切り替えるものとしてもよい。
[0033] 実施例のハイブリッド自動車 20では、車速 Vを車室内における騒音(暗騒音)に置 き換えたものや騒音を推定するための検出値として考えるものとしたが、車室内にお ける騒音(暗騒音)を置き換えることができる他のパラメータを用いるものとしてもよい
。例えば、クランクポジションセンサ 23により検出されて演算されたエンジン 22の回転 数 Neやオーディオ機器 89の音調調整ボタン 89bにより調整された音量を用いるもの としてもよいし、乗員室 90内にマイクを設置すると共に設置したマイクで実際に検出 した騒音レベルを用いるものとしてもよ 、。

[0035] 実施例のハイブリッド自動車 20では、冷却システム 60の冷却モード Mcとして乗員 室 90内の空気を吸気して直接にバッテリ 46に送風する室内吸気モードとエアコン 50 (エバポレータ 54)により冷却された空気を吸気してバッテリ 46に送風する AZC吸 気モードとを備えるものとした力 異なる場所の空気を吸気してバッテリに送風する 2 つ以上のモードを備えるものであれば、例えば外気を吸気してバッテリに送風するも のとしてもよいしトランクルーム内の空気を吸気してバッテリに送風するものとしてもよ い。
[0036] 実施例では、本発明の冷却システム 60をエンジン 22と遊星歯車機構 28とモータ M Gl, MG2とを備えるハイブリッド自動車 20におけるモータ MG1, MG2と電力をやり とりするバッテリ 46の冷却に適用するものとした力 これ以外のハイブリッド自動車に おける走行用のモータと電力をやりとりするバッテリなどの蓄電装置の冷却に適用す るものとしてもよいし、走行用の動力源としてモータのみを備える自動車におけるモ ータと電力をやりとりするバッテリなどの蓄電装置の冷却に適用するものとしてもよい 。また、エンジンの自動停止と自動始動とが可能な自動車における自動始動の際に 用いる蓄電装置の冷却に適用するものとしてもょ 、。
[0037] 以上、本発明を実施するための最良の形態について実施例を用いて説明したが、 本発明はこうした実施例に何等限定されるものではなぐ本発明の要旨を逸脱しない 範囲内において、種々なる形態で実施し得ることは勿論である。 産業上の利用可能性
本発明は、冷却システムの製造産業や自動車の製造産業に利用可能である。

Claims

請求の範囲
[1] 自動車に搭載された蓄電装置を冷却する冷却システムであって、
異なる場所の空気を吸気して前記蓄電装置に送風する複数の送風モードを有する 送風手段と、
前記複数の送風モードにおける各送風路の開通と遮断とを切り替えることにより該 複数の送風モードを切り替える送風モード切替手段と、
前記送風モード切替手段を介して前記蓄電装置に送風されている状態で前記送 風モードの切替要求がなされたとき、前記蓄電装置への送風が制限されるよう前記 送風手段を制御し、該蓄電装置への送風を制限した後に前記送風モードが切り替え られるよう前記送風モード切替手段を制御し、該送風モード切替手段を切り替えた後 に前記蓄電装置への送風の制限が解除されるよう前記送風手段を制御する送風制 限切替制御を実行する制御手段と、
を備える冷去 Pシステム。
[2] 請求項 1記載の冷却システムであって、
車室内における騒音の程度を検出または推定する騒音程度検出推定手段を備え 前記制御手段は、前記検出または推定された騒音の程度が所定程度未満のときに は前記送風制限切替制御を実行し、前記検出または推定された騒音の程度が前記 所定程度以上のときには前記送風の制限を行なわずに前記送風モードが切り替えら れるよう前記送風モード切替手段を制御する手段である、
冷却システム。
[3] 請求項 2記載の冷却システムであって、
前記騒音程度検出推定手段は、車速を検出する車速検出手段を備え、前記検出 された車速に基づいて前記騒音の程度を設定する手段である、
冷却システム。
[4] 請求項 2記載の冷却システムであって、
前記自動車は、内燃機関を備え、
前記騒音程度検出推定手段は、前記内燃機関の回転数を検出する機関回転数検 出手段を備え、前記検出された内燃機関の回転数に基づいて前記騒音の程度を設 定する手段である、
冷却システム。
[5] 請求項 2記載の冷却システムであって、
前記自動車は、車室内に音声を調整可能な音量をもって出力する音声出力手段 を備え、
前記騒音程度検出推定手段は、前記音声出力手段における音量の調整状態に基 づ 、て前記騒音の程度を設定する手段である、
冷却システム。
[6] 請求項 1記載の冷却システムであって、
前記自動車は、車室内の空気調和を行なう空調装置を備え、
前記複数の送風モードは、車室内または車室外の空気を吸気して直接に前記蓄 電装置に送風する第 1の送風モードと、前記空調装置により冷却された空気を吸気 して前記蓄電装置に送風する第 2の送風モードとを含む、
冷却システム。
[7] 請求項 1記載の冷却システムであって、
前記蓄電装置の温度に関係する温度関係パラメータを検出する温度関係パラメ一 タ検出手段を備え、
前記送風モードの切替要求は、前記検出された温度関係パラメータに基づいてな される要求である
冷却システム。
[8] 異なる場所の空気を吸気して自動車に搭載された蓄電装置に送風する複数の送 風モードを有する送風手段と、前記複数の送風モードにおける各送風路の開通と遮 断とを切り替えることにより該複数の送風モードを切り替える送風モード切替手段と、 を備える冷却システムの制御方法であって、
前記送風モード切替手段を介して前記蓄電装置に送風されている状態で前記送 風モードの切替要求がなされたとき、前記蓄電装置への送風が制限されるよう前記 送風手段を制御し、該蓄電装置への送風を制限した後に前記送風モードが切り替え られるよう前記送風モード切替手段を制御し、該送風モード切替手段を切り替えた後 に前記蓄電装置への送風の制限が解除されるよう前記送風手段を制御する 冷却システムの制御方法。
[9] 請求項 8記載の冷却システムの制御方法であって、
車室内における騒音の程度が所定程度未満のときには前記送風制限切替制御を 実行し、車室内における騒音の程度が前記所定程度以上のときには前記送風の制 限を行なわずに前記送風モードが切り替えられるよう前記送風モード切替手段を制 御する、
ことを特徴とする冷却システムの制御方法。
[10] 請求項 9記載の冷却システムの制御方法であって、
前記自動車は、内燃機関を備え、
前記内燃機関の回転数に基づいて前記車室内の騒音の程度を判定して前記送風 モード切替手段を制御する、
ことを特徴とする冷却システムの制御方法。
[11] 請求項 9記載の冷却システムであって、
前記自動車は、車室内に音声を調整可能な音量をもって出力する音声出力機器 を備え、
前記音声出力機器における音量の調整状態に基づいて前記車室内の騒音の程 度を判定して前記送風モード切替手段を制御する、
ことを特徴とする冷却システムの制御方法。
