Abstract

L’invention concerne une composition de copolymère d’éthylène appropriée en tant que matériau d’étanchéité pour des polymères hydrocarbonés tels que des polypropylènes et polystyrènes. L’invention concerne également une composition de copolymère d’éthylène formant un matériau d’étanchéité ayant d’excellentes performances d’étanchéité, d’étanchéité thermique à basse température et de cassabilité de joint pour des polymères hydrocarbonés tout en montrant des propriétés d’anticondensation suffisantes. En outre, l’invention concerne un matériau d’étanchéité facilement cassable composé de cette composition de copolymère. L’invention concerne spécifiquement une composition de copolymère d’éthylène contenant de 40 à 98 parties en poids d’un copolymère d’ester insaturé/éthylène (A), de 60 à 0 parties en poids d’un élastomère (B), de 30 à 0 parties en poids d’une polyoléfine cristalline (C) (la teneur totale en (B) et (C) est de 2 à 60 parties en poids) et de 0 à 30 parties en poids d’un agent poisseux (D). Dans un mode de réalisation préféré de cette composition de copolymère d’éthylène, la teneur en unité d’ester insaturé dans le copolymère d’éthylène (A) est de 3 à 30 % en poids, et le point de fusion (T °C) et la teneur en unité d’ester insaturé (X pourcentage molaire) satisfont à la formule suivante : -3,0X + 125≥ T≥ -3,0X + 109.
