Abstract
Сольватована мезофазна смола має рідкокристалічну структуру. Містить розчинник і мезогени. При цьому сольватована мезофазна смола плавиться при температурі принаймні на 40 °С нижче, ніж мезогеновий компонент. Розчинник розчиняється в мезогенах і зумовлює зниження температури плавлення, зберігаючи при цьому практично рідкокристалічну структуру так, що мезофазна смола є, щонайменше, на 40 об. % оптично анізотропною.
