本發明之顯示裝置係使用有機EL面板之主動矩陣型之顯示裝置,且包括:複數個像素電路,其等各包括配置於有機EL面板之像素區域之有機發光二極體、及驅動有機發光二極體之複數個電晶體;複數條掃描線,其等於有機EL面板中沿著第1方向配置;及複數條資料線,其等沿著與第1方向正交之第2方向配置;且於在第1方向上鄰接之至少1組像素電路中,複數個電晶體之閘極電極及雜質擴散區域呈線對稱地佈局,且於至少1組像素電路中對稱配置之至少1組電晶體之閘極電極為一體地構成。

Description

顯示裝置及具備其之電子機器
本發明係關於一種使用有機EL(Electro-Luminescence:電致發光)面板之主動矩陣型之顯示裝置。進而,本發明係關於一種使用此種顯示裝置之電子機器等。
有機EL面板係將發光層包含有機化合物之有機發光二極體(Organic Light-Emitting Diode:OLED)配置於複數個像素而構成。有機發光二極體於由藉由已注入至發光層中之電子與電洞之結合而產生之能量激發之有機化合物之分子自激發狀態恢復至基態時發光。於有機EL面板中,藉由於發光二極體之陽極(anode)與陰極(cathode)之間流通電流而以與其電流值對應之亮度進行脈衝型之點亮。 作為有機EL面板之驅動方式,存在被動矩陣型及主動矩陣型。根據被動矩陣型,於陽極驅動器之複數個配線與陰極驅動器之複數個配線之間,連接各個像素之有機發光二極體。如此,雖構造較簡單,但由於每一列發光,故而必須增大發光亮度,器件之壽命變短,並且因串擾導致的畫質降低成為問題。 另一方面,根據主動矩陣型,藉由於各個像素配置複數個電晶體,並於特定之期間對有機發光二極體流通電流,可以實現較高之發光效率及高畫質。但是,作為像素電路之電晶體,若使用非晶矽之TFT(Thin Film Transistor,薄膜電晶體),則經年變化變大,若使用低溫多晶矽之TFT,則每一像素之閾值電壓之偏差變大。於任一情形時,均為了彌補該等問題而使像素電路之構造變得複雜。 於先前之主動矩陣型之顯示裝置中,關於電晶體或配線之配置,為了使對畫質造成之影響平均化,而將像素電路之佈局設為相同圖案之重複,或者,為了謀求像素電路之小型化,而將像素電路之佈局設為左右及/或上下對稱之鏡像配置。 作為相關之技術,於專利文獻1中揭示有可於顯示區域內有效率地配置像素電路之圖像顯示裝置。該圖像顯示裝置係使配置於將顯示區域分割成格子狀而成之複數個像素區域之各者之發光元件發光而顯示圖像者,其特徵在於:將用以控制配置於複數個像素區域之各者之發光元件之發光之像素電路形成於包括如下兩部分之區域:自該像素區域朝向鄰接之另一像素區域突出之部分;及鄰接之另一像素電路向該像素區域內突出之部分。 又,於專利文獻2中揭示有開口率經改善之有機電場發光元件。該有機電場發光元件包括:基板;基板上部之複數條閘極配線;基板上部之複數條資料配線,其等與複數條閘極配線相互交叉;複數個開關元件及驅動元件,其等形成於基板上部且相互連結;及電源配線,其形成於基板上部,與複數條資料配線平行且與至少2個驅動元件電性連結。藉由此種構成,可以將電源配線之條數減少為1/2,因此,與先前相比,開口率得以改善,且可不提高電流位準,因此可以延長元件之壽命。 於專利文獻1中,將像素電路之佈局設為左右及上下對稱之鏡像配置,但形成於像素電路之端部之資料信號線(DAT,參照圖1及圖3C)與相鄰之像素電路之資料信號線鄰接。於專利文獻2中,將像素電路之佈局設為左右對稱之鏡像配置,但形成於像素電路之端部之資料配線(111,參照圖5)與相鄰之像素電路之資料配線鄰接。 於使用有機EL面板之主動矩陣型之顯示裝置中,藉由經由資料線而寫入至像素電路之電容之像素信號(電荷)進行對有機發光二極體流通電流之電晶體之電容驅動。此時,若2條資料線鄰接,則暫時寫入至像素電路之電容之像素信號於將像素信號寫入至相鄰之像素電路之電容時,會因鄰接之2條資料線間之寄生電容而變化,而有對灰階造成影響之虞。 [先前技術文獻] [專利文獻] [專利文獻1]日本專利特開2010-210905號公報(段落0007-0009) [專利文獻2]日本專利特開2004-6341號公報(段落0039-0041)
[發明所欲解決之問題] 如上所述,於使用有機EL面板之主動矩陣型之顯示裝置中,由於在各個像素電路配置複數個電晶體,故而難以使像素電路小型化,於為了顯示高清之圖像而縮小像素間距時,會受到製造上之制約。又,於將像素電路之佈局設為左右對稱之鏡像配置之情形時,因鄰接之2條資料線間之寄生電容導致之串擾亦會成為問題。因此,本發明之第1目的在於提供一種可容易地實現像素電路之小型化之顯示裝置。又,本發明之第2目的在於降低因鄰接之兩個像素電路中之資料線間之寄生電容導致之串擾。 [解決問題之技術手段] 為了解決以上課題,本發明之一態樣之顯示裝置係使用有機EL(電致發光)面板之主動矩陣型之顯示裝置,其包括:複數個像素電路,其等各包含配置於有機EL面板之像素區域之有機發光二極體、及驅動有機發光二極體之複數個電晶體;複數條掃描線,其等於有機EL面板中沿著第1方向配置;及複數條資料線,其等於有機EL面板中沿著與第1方向正交之第2方向配置;且於第1方向上鄰接之至少1組像素電路中,複數個電晶體之閘極電極及雜質擴散區域呈線對稱地佈局,於至少1組像素電路中對稱配置之至少1組電晶體之閘極電極為一體地構成。 根據本發明之一態樣,藉由於第1方向上鄰接之至少1組像素電路中,將複數個電晶體之閘極電極及雜質擴散區域呈線對稱地佈局,可於配線層中高效率地配置配線。又,藉由使於第1方向上鄰接之至少1組像素電路中對稱配置之至少1組電晶體之閘極電極共用化而為一體地構成,與個別地構成該等電晶體之閘極電極之情形相比,可將電晶體之間隔縮小與閘極電極間之空間相應之量,而使像素間距變小。 該顯示裝置亦可進而具備屏蔽線,該屏蔽線配置於分別連接於在第1方向上鄰接之1組像素電路之2條資料線之間。藉此,即便將於第1方向上鄰接之1組像素電路之佈局設為鏡像配置,亦可防止2條資料線鄰接,從而減少因資料線間之寄生電容導致之串擾。 又,複數個像素電路之各者亦可包括:第1電晶體,其根據連接於閘極之電容器之電位,對有機發光二極體供給電流;及第2電晶體,其根據連接於閘極之掃描線之電位,將第1電晶體之閘極連接於1條資料線。如此,即便於像素電路中僅包含2個電晶體之情形時,亦可於有機EL面板顯示圖像。 此處,於第1方向上鄰接之1組像素電路之第2電晶體之閘極電極亦可為一體地構成。藉此,可縮小1組像素電路之第2電晶體之間隔。 又,複數個像素電路之各者亦可進而包括:第3電晶體,其根據供給至閘極之信號,接通或斷開第1電晶體之閘極與汲極之間之連接;第4電晶體,其根據供給至閘極之信號,接通或斷開第1電晶體之汲極與有機發光二極體之陽極之間之連接;及第5電晶體,其根據供給至閘極之信號,接通或斷開有機發光二極體之陽極與重設電位線之間之連接。藉此,可進而改善畫質或功能。 於此情形時,於第1方向上鄰接之第1~第3像素電路中,第2及第3像素電路之第2電晶體之閘極電極可為一體地構成,第2及第3像素電路之第3電晶體之閘極電極可為一體地構成,第1及第2像素電路之第4電晶體之閘極電極可為一體地構成,第2及第3像素電路之第5電晶體之閘極電極可為一體地構成。藉此,可縮小1組第2電晶體之間隔、1組第3電晶體之間隔、1組第4電晶體之間隔、及1組第5電晶體之間隔。 又,該顯示裝置亦可進而具備屏蔽線,該屏蔽線配置於分別連接於在第1方向上鄰接之1組像素電路之第1電晶體之閘極電極之2條配線之間。藉由以此種佈局圖案配置屏蔽線,屏蔽效果增加,故而可降低於鄰接之像素間對顯示造成之串擾之影響。 以上,於第1方向上鄰接之至少1組像素電路中對稱配置之至少1組電晶體之一體地構成之閘極電極亦可於1個連接點與1條配線連接。藉此,可使通孔或接點之個數減少,從而使像素電路小型化。 本發明之一態樣之電子機器具備本發明之任一態樣之顯示裝置。藉此,可提供一種為了顯示高清之圖像而縮小了像素間距之電子取景器或頭戴式顯示器等電子機器。
以下,一面參照圖式一面對本發明之實施形態詳細地進行說明。再者,對相同構成要素附註相同之參照符號,並省略重複之說明。 圖1係表示使用本發明之一實施形態之顯示裝置之電子機器之構成的方塊圖。該電子機器為電子取景器或頭戴式顯示器等電子機器,於圖1中,僅示出了有關圖像顯示之部分。 如圖1所示,該電子機器包括圖像資料處理電路10、顯示時序產生電路20、掃描線驅動器30、資料線驅動器40、及像素部50。此處,至少掃描線驅動器30~像素部50構成使用有機EL面板之主動矩陣型之顯示裝置。 像素部50包括分別形成於有機EL面板之複數個像素區域之複數個像素電路。於有機EL面板中,亦可藉由於透明基板上利用非晶矽或低溫多晶矽形成TFT,而形成像素電路。或者,亦可使用將形成有像素電路之矽(Si)半導體基板用作底板,且於矽半導體基板上形成有機發光二極體(OLED)之有機EL面板。此種有機EL面板亦被稱為「SiOLED」。 於SiOLED之情形時,即便構成各個像素電路之電晶體之個數增加,亦可將該等電晶體容易地形成於半導體基板。又,不僅掃描線驅動器30~像素部50,亦可將圖像資料處理電路10及顯示時序產生電路20之至少一部分形成於半導體基板。 圖像資料處理電路10輸入圖像資料及時脈信號,且對圖像資料實施各種圖像處理。例如,圖像資料處理電路10亦可對圖像資料實施伽瑪修正處理或殘像修正處理。圖像資料處理電路10將實施圖像處理後之圖像資料供給至資料線驅動器40。 顯示時序產生電路20產生用以與自外部供給之垂直同步信號、水平同步信號、及點時脈信號同步地控制顯示裝置之各種時序信號。例如,顯示時序產生電路20產生啟動信號及線時脈信號並供給至掃描線驅動器30。啟動信號包含規定垂直掃描之開始時序之起始脈衝,且成為用以開始像素部50之掃描之觸發器。 掃描線驅動器30包含移位暫存器及輸出緩衝器而構成,若被施加起始脈衝,則與線時脈信號同步地依序選擇複數條掃描線G1、G2、…,並對所選擇之掃描線供給掃描信號。藉此,將起始脈衝作為觸發器依序選擇所有掃描線,進行1垂直掃描驅動。又,掃描線驅動器30亦可將用以控制像素部50之動作之各種控制信號供給至像素部50。 資料線驅動器40包含複數個D/A(Digital-to-Analog,數位/類比)轉換器而構成,且產生與由自圖像資料處理電路10供給之圖像資料表示之灰階對應之複數個像素信號。資料線驅動器40以與掃描信號同步之時序將該等像素信號供給至複數個資料線D1、D2、…。 於像素部50中,於有機EL面板中沿著第1方向(圖中之X軸方向)配置有複數條掃描線G1、G2、…,於有機EL面板中沿著與第1方向正交之第2方向(圖中之Y軸方向)配置有複數條資料線D1、D2、…。又,於該等掃描線與該等資料線交叉之位置設置有複數個像素電路。 藉由自掃描線驅動器30供給之掃描信號依序選擇複數列之像素電路。於所選擇之1列像素電路中,自資料線驅動器40經由複數條資料線D1、D2、…寫入各個像素信號。各個像素電路具備有機發光二極體,有機發光二極體以與所寫入之像素信號對應之強度發光,且於每一像素完成灰階顯示。 圖2係表示本發明之一實施形態之顯示裝置之一例的立體圖。此處,對使用SiOLED之顯示裝置進行說明。如圖2所示,顯示裝置60包括有機EL面板70、及軟性基板80。有機EL面板70係頂部發光型之顯示面板,該頂部發光型之顯示面板包括矽半導體基板71、蒸鍍於半導體基板71上之包含有機化合物之發光層(OLED層)72、及設置於OLED層72上之覆蓋玻璃73。於半導體基板71形成有複數個像素電路,自OLED層72發出之顯示光自覆蓋玻璃73側出射。 有機EL面板70具備顯示區域70a,該顯示區域70a具有呈矩陣狀配置之複數個像素。如圖2之右上方放大表示般,於顯示區域70a週期性地配置有紅色(R)、綠色(G)、藍色(B)之發光元件,藉由該等發光元件出射之光而顯示全彩之圖像。 於有機EL面板70之顯示區域70a之周緣部(邊框部)形成有掃描線驅動器30及資料線驅動器40(參照圖1)。構成該等電路之電路元件與像素電路同樣地形成於半導體基板71。又,半導體基板71於自覆蓋玻璃73突出之區域連接有軟性基板80。 於軟性基板80之端部形成有用以與外部機器或專用之控制器連接之複數個端子。有機EL面板70經由軟性基板80而自外部機器或控制器接受圖像資料或電力或控制信號之供給,藉此而於顯示區域70a顯示圖像或字元等。 圖3係表示圖1所示之像素部之電路構成之一例之電路圖。於圖3中,表示於第1方向(圖1所示之X軸方向)鄰接之3個像素電路1~3、及測試控制用之電路。像素電路1~3例如分別設置於形成有RGB之發光元件之3個像素區域。對像素電路1~3供給電源電位VEL (例如8 V)、及電源電位VCT (例如0 V)。 像素電路1包括:有機發光二極體D,其配置於有機EL面板之像素區域;複數個電晶體,其等驅動有機發光二極體D;及電容器C,其保持像素信號。例如,像素電路包含P通道MOS電晶體QP1及QP2,進而,作為選項亦可包含P通道MOS電晶體QP3~QP5。 電晶體QP1之源極連接於電源電位VEL ,電晶體QP1之汲極連接於電晶體QP4之源極。於未設置電晶體QP4之情形時,電晶體QP1之汲極連接於有機發光二極體D之陽極。有機發光二極體D之陰極連接於電源電位VCT 。又,電容器C之第1電極連接於電源電位VEL ,電容器C之第2電極連接於電晶體QP1之閘極。 電晶體QP2之源極連接於資料線D1,電晶體QP2之汲極連接於電容器C之第2電極及電晶體QP1之閘極。又,電晶體QP2之閘極連接於1條掃描線,電晶體QP2根據連接於閘極之掃描線之電位而將電晶體QP1之閘極連接於資料線D1。 即,若將掃描線之電位活化為低位準,則電晶體QP2接通而將資料線D1之電位供給至電晶體QP1之閘極。電晶體QP1根據保持於連接在閘極之電容器C之第2電極之電位,對有機發光二極體D供給電流。有機發光二極體D以與所供給之電流值對應之亮度發光。 另一方面,若將掃描線之電位去活化為高位準,則電晶體QP2斷開,電晶體QP1之閘極自資料線D1分離,但於該狀態下,電晶體QP1亦可根據保持於連接在閘極之電容器C之第2電極之電位,對有機發光二極體D供給電流。 如此,即便於像素電路1中僅包含2個電晶體QP1及QP2之情形時,亦可於有機EL面板顯示圖像,但以下,對為了進一步改善畫質或功能,像素電路1進而包含P通道電晶體QP3~QP5之情形進行說明。 電晶體QP3之源極連接於電晶體QP1之閘極,電晶體QP3之汲極連接於電晶體QP1之汲極。又,對電晶體QP3之閘極供給閾值補償信號,且電晶體QP3根據閾值補償信號而接通或斷開電晶體QP1之閘極與汲極之間之連接。 即,若將閾值補償信號活化為低位準,則電晶體QP3接通而將電晶體QP1之閘極與汲極連接,故而電晶體QP1與二極體等效。此時,若將資料線D1之電位固定為特定之電位(例如0 V),並且使電晶體QP2接通,則於等效二極體之兩端產生順方向電壓,該電壓被保持於電容器C。 藉此,即便於複數個像素電路中電晶體QP1之閾值電壓產生偏差,由於與閾值電壓相當之電壓被保持於電容器C,故而亦可補償因電晶體QP1之閾值電壓之偏差導致之汲極電流之偏差。其後,藉由於將閾值補償信號去活化為高位準而使電晶體QP3斷開之狀態下對資料線D1供給像素信號,而使像素信號之電位重疊於保持在電容器C之第2電極之電位。 電晶體QP4之源極連接於電晶體QP1之汲極,電晶體QP4之汲極連接於有機發光二極體D之陽極。對電晶體QP4之閘極供給發光控制信號,電晶體QP4根據發光控制信號而接通或斷開電晶體QP1之汲極與有機發光二極體D之陽極之間的連接。 即,若將發光控制信號活化為低位準,則電晶體QP4接通而將電晶體QP1之汲極電流供給至有機發光二極體D。另一方面,若將發光控制信號去活化為高位準,則電晶體QP4斷開而不會將電晶體QP1之汲極電流供給至有機發光二極體D。如此,可根據使發光控制信號活化之時間來控制有機發光二極體D之發光時間。 電晶體QP5之源極連接於重設電位線R1,電晶體QP5之汲極連接於有機發光二極體D之陽極。對電晶體QP5之閘極供給LED重設信號,電晶體QP5根據LED重設信號而接通或斷開有機發光二極體D之陽極與重設電位線R1之間的連接。 即,若將LED重設信號活化為低位準,則電晶體QP5接通,而對有機發光二極體D之陽極施加特定之重設電位(例如0 V)。藉此,可使有機發光二極體D之發光完全地停止。另一方面,若將LED重設信號去活化為高位準,則電晶體QP5斷開而有機發光二極體D可發光。 重設電位線R1於測試模式中,亦可用於測定電晶體QP1之汲極電流。因此,由P通道MOS電晶體QP11及N通道MOS電晶體QN11構成之第1傳輸閘連接於重設電位線R1與測試線T1之間。又,由P通道MOS電晶體QP12及N通道MOS電晶體QN12構成之第2傳輸閘連接於重設電位線R1與重設電位之間。 於測試模式中,將測試控制信號活化為低位準,反相器INV之輸出信號成為高位準。因此,第1傳輸閘之電晶體QP11及QN11接通,第2傳輸閘之電晶體QP12及QN12斷開,重設電位線R1連接於測試線T1。藉此,於電晶體QP5接通時,可經由測試線T1而測定電晶體QP1之汲極電流。 另一方面,於通常運作模式中,將測試控制信號去活化為高位準,反相器INV之輸出信號變為低位準。因此,第1傳輸閘之電晶體QP11及QN11斷開,第2傳輸閘之電晶體QP12及QN12接通,重設電位線R1連接於重設電位。 以上,對像素電路1之構成進行了說明,但像素電路2及3之構成亦與像素電路1同樣。此處,於像素電路1之圖中左側設置有屏蔽線S1,於像素電路1與像素電路2之間設置有屏蔽線S2,於像素電路2與像素電路3之間設置有屏蔽線S3。又,由P通道MOS電晶體QP13及N通道MOS電晶體QN13構成之傳輸閘連接於屏蔽線S1~S3與重設電位之間。 於測試模式中,傳輸閘之電晶體QP13及QN13斷開,屏蔽線S1~S3自重設電位分離。另一方面,於通常運作模式中,傳輸閘之電晶體QP13及QN13接通,屏蔽線S1~S3連接於重設電位。 其次,對圖3所示之像素電路之佈局進行說明。於SiOLED之情形時,於矽半導體基板之一部分區域上介隔閘極絕緣膜形成閘極電極,於其兩側之半導體基板內形成成為源極及汲極之雜質擴散區域,而形成電晶體。 於形成有電晶體之半導體基板上,介隔第1層間絕緣膜形成第1配線層,進而於其上介隔第2層間絕緣膜形成第1配線層,以此方式形成所需數量之配線層。例如,層間絕緣膜由二氧化矽形成,配線層由鋁形成。 圖4係表示圖3所示之像素電路中之閘極電極及雜質擴散區域之佈局之俯視圖。圖5係表示圖3所示之像素電路中之第1配線層之佈局之俯視圖,圖6係表示圖3所示之像素電路中之第2配線層之佈局之俯視圖。於圖5及圖6中,於閘極電極及雜質擴散區域之佈局上,各個配線層之佈局以灰色表示。又,×記號表示為了將各個配線層之配線連接於下層而形成於層間絕緣膜之通孔。 於圖4~圖6中,表示有於第1方向(圖1所示之X軸方向)鄰接之3個像素電路1~3,但其他像素電路之佈局亦對於在第1方向上鄰接之1組(2個)像素電路成為鏡像配置。對於在第2方向(圖1所示之Y軸方向)上鄰接之1組像素電路可重複同一圖案,亦可設為鏡像配置。再者,像素電路之佈局中之第1方向及第2方向並不限定於圖1所示之X軸方向及Y軸方向。 如圖4所示,於在第1方向上鄰接之像素電路1及2中,電晶體QP1~QP5之閘極電極(G)、源極(S)、及汲極(D)關於像素電路之交界線呈線對稱佈局。進而,對稱配置之1組電晶體QP4之閘極電極為一體地構成。 又,於在第1方向上鄰接之像素電路2及3中,電晶體QP1~QP5之閘極電極(G)、源極(S)、及汲極(D)關於像素電路之交界線呈線對稱地佈局。進而,對稱配置之1組電晶體QP2之閘極電極為一體地構成,對稱配置之1組電晶體QP3之閘極電極為一體地構成,對稱配置之1組電晶體QP5之閘極電極為一體地構成。 如此,於在第1方向上鄰接之至少1組像素電路中,藉由將複數個電晶體之閘極電極及雜質擴散區域呈線對稱地佈局,可於配線層高效率地配置配線。又,藉由將於在第1方向上鄰接之至少1組像素電路中對稱配置之至少1組電晶體之閘極電極共用化而為一體地構成,與個別地構成該等電晶體之閘極電極之情形相比,可將電晶體之間隔縮小與閘極電極間之空間相應之量,從而縮小像素間距。 如圖5所示,於第1配線層中,沿著第1方向形成掃描線、屏蔽線、閾值補償信號之配線、發光控制信號之配線、及LED重設信號之配線。於像素電路1及2中,1組電晶體QP4之一體地構成之閘極電極於1個連接點連接於發光控制信號之配線。又,於像素電路2及像素電路3中,1組電晶體QP2之一體地構成之閘極電極於1個連接點連接於1條掃描線,1組電晶體QP3之一體地構成之閘極電極於1個連接點連接於閾值補償信號之配線,1組電晶體QP5之一體地構成之閘極電極於1個連接點連接於LED重設信號之配線。 如此,藉由將於在第1方向上鄰接之1組像素電路中對稱配置之1組電晶體之一體地構成之閘極電極於1個連接點連接於1條配線,可使通孔或接點之個數減少,從而可使像素電路小型化。 又,屏蔽線不僅配置於掃描線與閾值補償信號之配線之間,於像素電路1~3之各者中,亦配置於連接在電晶體QP1之閘極電極之配線與掃描線之間。進而,屏蔽線亦配置於分別連接於鄰接之1組像素電路中對稱配置之1組電晶體QP1之2條配線之間。藉由以此種佈局圖案配置屏蔽線,屏蔽效果增加,因此,可減少於鄰接之像素間串擾對顯示造成之影響。 如圖6所示,於第2配線層,沿著第2方向形成屏蔽線S1~S3、資料線D1~D3、及重設電位線R1~R3。此處,屏蔽線S3配置於分別連接於在第1方向上鄰接之像素電路2及3之2條資料線D2及D3之間。藉此,即便將於第1方向上鄰接之1組像素電路之佈局設為鏡像配置,亦可防止2條資料線鄰接,而可減少因資料線間之寄生電容導致之串擾。 又,如圖4~圖6所示,於在第1方向上鄰接之1組像素電路中,對於與上層接觸之部分亦將佈局設為鏡像配置,藉此,於該等像素電路中配線間之電容耦合等不會出現差異。進而,於第3配線層中配置供給電源電位VEL 之配線,該配線經由第2配線層及第1配線層而電性連接於電晶體QP1之源極。如此,藉由將供給電源電位VEL 之第3配線層另行設置,可減少自第1及第2配線層產生之雜訊對電晶體QP1之源極電位造成之影響。 圖3所示之電容器C例如形成為利用金屬夾入絕緣層之MIM(metal-insulator-metal:金屬-絕緣體-金屬)構成。於此情形時,亦可於第3配線層形成電容器C之第1電極,於第4配線層形成電容器C之第2電極,於第5配線層形成電容器C之第1電極,而將電容器C設為積層構造。對形成於第3及第5配線層之電容器C之第1電極供給電源電位VEL 。 如此,藉由將電容器C之第1電極之電位設為與電晶體QP1之源極電位及背閘極電位相同,可將供給至電容器C之第1電極之電源電位VEL 亦以低阻抗穩定地供給至電晶體QP1之源極等。 於以上實施形態中,對於像素電路中使用P通道MOS電晶體之情形進行了說明,但本發明亦可應用於在像素電路中使用N通道MOS電晶體之情形。 如此,本發明並不限定於以上所說明之實施形態,可由該技術領域中具有通常知識者於本發明之技術性思想內進行較多之變化。

Claims (8)

  1. 一種顯示裝置,其包括: 第1資料線及第2資料線,其等於第1方向延伸; 發光控制線; 第1像素電路,其包含:第1發光元件、對應於來自上述第1資料線之第1像素信號而使第1電流於上述第1發光元件流動之第1電晶體、及連接於上述第1電晶體與上述第1發光元件之間之第2電晶體;及 第2像素電路,其包含:第2發光元件、對應於來自上述第2資料線之第2像素信號而使第2電流於上述第2發光元件流動之第3電晶體、及連接於上述第3電晶體與上述第2發光元件之間之第4電晶體;且 上述第2電晶體之閘極電極與上述第4電晶體之閘極電極為一體地構成,並於連接點連接有上述發光控制線。
  2. 如請求項1之顯示裝置,其中上述第2電晶體係與上述第4電晶體呈線對稱地配置。
  3. 如請求項1或2之顯示裝置,其中其進而具備屏蔽線,其配置於上述第1資料線與上述第2資料線之間。
  4. 如請求項1至3中任一項之顯示裝置,其中上述第1電晶體係與上述第3電晶體呈線對稱地配置。
  5. 如請求項1至4中任一項之顯示裝置,其中上述第1資料線、上述第2資料線、上述發光控制線、上述第1像素電路、及上述第2像素電路係形成於半導體基板之上。
  6. 如請求項1至5中任一項之顯示裝置,其中上述第1發光元件及上述第2發光元件係有機發光二極體。
  7. 如請求項1至6中任一項之顯示裝置,其中上述發光控制線係形成於與上述第2電晶體之閘極電極及上述第4電晶體之閘極電極不同之第1配線層。
