Abstract
Bu bulus, yapraklar, kökler, meyveler ve tohumlar gibi, bitkiler, bitki parçalari ve hücrelerinde çok-doymamis uzun zincirli yagli asitlerin hazirlanmasi için bilesimler ve yöntemlere iliskindir. Aralarinda 5-desatürazlar, 6-desatürazlar ve 12-desatürazlar bulunan yagli asit desatürazlarini kodlayan nükleik asit dizileri ve konstruktlari, bir ya da daha çok desatürazi kodlayan bir ya da daha çok transgeni içeren ve sentezleyen transgenik bitkiler, bitki parçalari ve hücrelerinin üretilmesi için kullanilmaktadir. Bitki sisteminde farkli alt-tabaka özgüllükleri ile desatürazlarin sentezlenmesi, bitkiler, bitki parçalari ve dokularinin yagli asit profilinin tadil edilmesi için, dokosaheksaenoik asit, eikosapentaenoik asit, alfa-linolenik asit, gama-linolenik asit, arakidonik asit gibi çok doymamis uzun zincirli yagli asitlerin büyük ölçekte üretimine olanak saglamaktadir. Yagli asit profillerinin idaresi ise, yeni bitkisel yaglar ve ürünlerin ticari miktarlarinin üretimine olanak saglamak
