Claims (26)
1. Катализатор окисления для обработки выхлопных газов, производимых двигателем внутреннего сгорания, причем данный катализатор окисления включает носитель и каталитический слой, причем данный каталитический слой включает:
первый подложечный материал;
первый благородный металл; и
второй благородный металл;
причем каталитический слой находится на поверхности носителя, и каталитический слой имеет неравномерное распределение первого благородного металла в направлении, перпендикулярном поверхности носителя.
2. Катализатор окисления по п. 1, в котором неравномерное распределение первого благородного металла в направлении, перпендикулярном поверхности носителя представляет собой плавное распределение первого благородного металла.
3. Катализатор окисления по п. 1, в котором неравномерное распределение первого благородного металла в направлении, перпендикулярном поверхности носителя, представляет собой ступенчатое распределение первого благородного металла.
4. Катализатор окисления по любому из предшествующих пунктов, в котором количество первого благородного металла увеличивается в перпендикулярном направлении по отношению к поверхности носителя.
5. Катализатор окисления по любому из пп. 1-3, в котором количество первого благородного металла уменьшается в перпендикулярном направлении по отношению к поверхности носителя.
6. Катализатор окисления по п. 5, в котором каталитический слой имеет первую поверхность и вторую поверхность, и, по меньшей мере, 60% суммарного количества первого благородного металла распределяется между первой поверхностью и плоскостью в каталитическом слое, которая находится на середине пути между первой поверхностью и второй поверхностью.
7. Катализатор окисления по любому из пп. 1-3, и 6, в котором первый благородный металл выбирается из группы, которую составляют рутений, родий, палладий, осмий, иридий, платина, серебро и золото.
8. Катализатор окисления по п 7, в котором первый благородный металл представляет собой палладий.
9. Катализатор окисления по любому из пп. 1-3, 6 и 8, в котором первый подложечный материал включает тугоплавкий оксид, выбранный из группы, которую составляют оксид алюминия, оксид магния, диоксид кремния, диоксид циркония, диоксид титана, диоксид церия и композитный оксид или смешанный оксид двух или более вышеупомянутых элементов.
10. Катализатор окисления по любому из пп. 1-3, 6 и 8, в котором второй благородный металл выбирается из группы, которую составляют рутений, родий, палладий, осмий, иридий, платина, серебро и золото.
11. Выхлопная система для двигателя внутреннего сгорания, включающая катализатор окисления по любому из пп. 1-10 и, по меньшей мере, одно снижающее токсичность выхлопных газов устройство.
12. Транспортное средство, включающее двигатель внутреннего сгорания и катализатор окисления по любому из пп. 1-10 или выхлопную систему по п. 11.
13. Способ обработка выхлопных газов, производимых двигателем внутреннего сгорания, причем данный способ включает введение в контакт выхлопных газов с катализатором окисления, причем катализатор окисления включает носитель и каталитический слой, причем каталитический слой включает:
первый подложечный материал;
первый благородный металл; и
второй благородный металл;
причем каталитический слой находится на поверхности носителя и имеет неравномерное распределение первого благородного металла в направлении, перпендикулярном поверхности носителя, и катализатор окисления необязательно представляет собой катализатор по любому из пп. 2-10.
14. Применение катализатора окисления по любому из пп. 1-10 для обработки выхлопных газов, производимых двигателем внутреннего сгорания.
15. Способ изготовления катализатора окисления, причем данный способ включает:
(a) изготовление водной суспензии, которую составляют предшественник первого подложечного материала, первый благородный металлический компонент и второй благородный металлический компонент;
(b) нанесение водной суспензии на носитель для изготовления покрытия; и
(c) высушивание и прокаливание покрытие с использованием условий, которые обеспечивают, что, по меньшей мере, первый благородный металлический компонент перемещается по направлению к носителю или от носителя.
