Abstract

Et ammoniakkfritt reduksjonsmiddel tilsettes til kobber(II)ioner for å bevirke reduksjon til kobber- (I)hydroksid i en fremgangsmåte for belegging av metallisk kobber på en katalytisk aktivert overflate ved hur- tig å redusere kobber(IIJioner i vandig løsning til kobber(I)hydroksid, uten vesentlig reduksjon til elementært eller metallisk kobber, og deretter bevirke kontrollert disproporsjonering av det resulterende kobber(I)hydroksid for å frembringe beleggingen av metal- lisk kobber. Det ammoniakkfrie reduk- sjonsmiddel er fortrinnsvis hydrok- sylamin eller dets salter i nærvær av et vannløselig alkalimetall- eller - Jordalkalimetallhydroksid, mer fore- trukket natriumhydroksid.
