Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a la preparación de muestras representativas a partir de muestras clínicas, por ejemplo, tumores (completos o en parte), nodos linfáticos, metástasis, quistes, pólipos, o una combinación o porción de los mismos, usando métodos de disociación mecánica y/o bioquímica para homogeneizar las muestras intactas o porciones grandes de las mismas. Lo homogeneizado resultante proporciona la capacidad para obtener una muestra representativa correcta debido a la heterogeneidad espacial dentro de la muestra, incrementando la probabilidad de detección de subclones de baja prevalencia, y es adecuado para uso en varios ensayos de diagnóstico, así como también la producción de terapéuticos, especialmente terapias a base de células inmunes o vacunas anti-tumorales "personalizadas".
