Abstract

En la presente invención, un cartucho se provee a un cuerpo del dispositivo de formación de imágenes electrofotográficas que no está provisto de un mecanismo que haga que una parte de acoplamiento del lado del cuerpo, provista al cuerpo del dispositivo para transmitir una fuerza de rotación a un portador de imagen, se mueva de acuerdo con la operación de apertura y cierre de una cubierta de cuerpo del cuerpo del dispositivo, dicho movimiento estando en la dirección del eje de rotación del portador de imagen. El cartucho es removible en una dirección prescrita sustancialmente ortogonal al eje de rotación del portador de imagen, en donde el cartucho puede ser retirado del cuerpo del dispositivo sin alterar el rendimiento de usabilidad. De acuerdo con el movimiento del cartucho cuando se retira el cartucho del cuerpo del dispositivo de formación de imágenes electrofotográficas, junto con el movimiento en una dirección ortogonal al eje de rotación del portador de imagen, un miembro de acoplamiento que puede moverse en una dirección paralela a la rotación del portador de imagen penetra en el lado interior de una parte rebajada de la parte de enganche del lado del cuerpo provista en el cuerpo del dispositivo, y el miembro de acoplamiento recibe la fuerza de rotación de la parte de enganche del lado del cuerpo.
