Abstract

Un recubrimiento de múltiples capas incluye: una primera capa de recubrimiento base aplicada sobre al menos una porción de un sustrato; y una segunda capa de recubrimiento base aplicada sobre la primera capa de recubrimiento base. La primera capa de recubrimiento base y la segunda capa de recubrimiento base son formadas a partir de composiciones que tienen una polihidrazida y partículas núcleo-revestimiento dispersas en medios acuosos. Las partículas núcleo- revestimiento de la primera composición de recubrimiento base incluye ( 1) un núcleo polimérico encapsulado al menos parcialmente por ( 2) un revestimiento polimérico que comprende enlaces urea, y grupos funcionales ceto y/o aldo. El núcleo polimérico de las partículas núcleo- revestimiento de la primera composición de recubrimiento base y la segunda composición de recubrimiento base son cada una unidas covalentemente de manera independiente a al menos una porción del revestimiento polimérico de las partículas núcleo- revestimiento.
