Abstract
Semillas infundidas tostadas y un proceso para preparar semillas infundidas tostadas se describen. En un aspecto, las semillas infundidas tostadas pueden tener sal, sabores, nutrientes, colores, y/o ingredientes funcionales así como mezclas de estos componentes infundidos de manera interna dentro de la semilla. Mediante infundir tales componentes hacia las semillas, los métodos descritos en la presente proporcionan semillas tostadas con sabores, nutrientes, colores, texturas, densidades, y/u otras funcionalidades únicos. La solución de infusión de sabores acuosa, tal como salmuera, se aplica a semillas crudas sin sustancialmente sumergir las semillas crudas en una pileta de solución de infusión de sabor acuosa antes de tostar dichas semillas.
