Abstract
Invenţia se referă la procedeele de tratare a suprafeţelor de metal cu compoziţii acide apoase pentru formarea unor învelişuri, ce se transformă prin uscare pe loc.Procedeul constă în aceea că învelişul de conversiune lipsit de crom, cel puţin, echivalent, după valorile rezistenţei la coroziune, cu învelişurile de conversiune obişnuite cu crom, poate fi format pe metale, în special, pe oţel zincat, cu un lichid acid apos, ce se usucă, care conţine: (A) un component al anionilor, fiecare constând din (i), cel puţin, patru atomi de fluor şi (ii), cel puţin, un atom de element selectat din grupa constituită din titan, zirconiu, hafniu, siliciu şi bor, şi, opţional, (iii) unul sau câţiva atomi de oxigen; (B) un component al cationilor de elemente selectate din grupa constituită din cobalt, magneziu, mangan, zinc, nichel, cositor, zirconiu, fier, aluminiu şi cupru, raportul cantităţii totale de cationi de acest component la cantitatea totală de anioni de component (A) constituind, cel puţin, 2:5; şi (C) o cantitate suficientă de acid liber, pentru a-i atribui compoziţiei, după diluarea cu apă, un pH în banda de valori cuprinsă între 0,5 şi 5,0 şi, opţional, (D) o compoziţie care va forma o peliculă organică după uscare.
