Kitas įpakavimo konteinerių formavimo įrenginys aprašytas 1981 metų Didžiosios Britanijos paraiškoje Nr.1596541 Apparatus for producing generally parallelepipedal packaging containers. Jame įpakavimai formuojami esančia viena prieš kitą ir tarpusavyje sąveikaujančia U - pavidalo skerspjūvio plokščių pora, pasisukančia iš atviros padėties į uždarą padėtį, kurioje plokštės suspaudžia įpakavimo medžiagos vamzdžio atkarpą ir suteikia jam pageidaujamą keturkampę skerspjūvio formą. Kiekviena įpakavimo mašina turi mažiausiai dvi plokščių poras, kurių paviršiai yra lygiagretūs vienas kitam ir įpakavimo vamzdžiui.
Gaminant įpakavimo konteinerius nurodytu būdu, retsykiais įpakavimo medžiagos vamzdis deformuojamas jį suspaudžiant ir sugnybiant, nes, plokštėms užsidarant, vamzdis suspaudžiamas tarp U - pavidalo plokščių atraminių dalių, kurios sudaro ant įpakavimo lapų išilgines klostes arba prakiurdo įpakavimo medžiagos plastikinį sluoksnį. Taip gali būti pažeistas įpakavimo konteinerių sterilumas.
Buvo bandoma įveikti aukščiau minėtas problemas, padengiant vidinius plokščių paviršius medžiaga su mažu trinties koeficientu, kad įpakavimo lapas galėtų laisviau praslysti į U - pavidalo plokščių įdubimus ir nebūtų tarp jų suspaustas. Tačiau šis ir kiti šio uždavinio sprendimai patenkinamo rezultato nedavė.
Šio išradimo tikslas yra įpakavimo mašinų formavimo plokščių sukūrimas, kurios neturėtų aukščiau minėtų trūkumų ir kuriomis būtų galima suteikti įpakavimo medžiagos vamzdžiui keturkampį, dažniausiai kvadratinį arba stačiakampį skerspjūvį, jo nedeformuojant.
Kitas šio išradimo tikslas yra pigaus ir paprasto formuojančio įrenginio, įstatomo į egzistuojančias įpakavimo mašinas, sukūrimas.
Šie tikslai pasiekiami tuo, kiekvienos tarpusavyje sąveikaujančios plokščių poros atraminiuose paviršiuose turi iškyšas įpakavimo vamzdžio plokštėms judant darbinės eigos metu vienai kad formavimo įrenginys nukreipimui, link kitos.
Suteikus suformuotas iš nukreiptas į plokštėms atitinkamos formos iškyšas, įpakavimo lapo vamzdis gali būti be kliūčių
U - pavidalo plokščių įdubimus be jo suspaudimo pavojaus.
Šio išradimo įrenginio labiausiai priimtinas įgyvendinimo variantas žemiau aprašytas detaliau su nuorodomis į pridėtus schematinius brėžinius, kuriuose:

Šio išradimo įrenginys gali būti panaudotas įvairiose įpakavimo mašinose, tačiau, visų pirma, jis įpakavimo mašinai 1, pavaizduotai įpakavimo mašinos gamina skysčių fig.l. Si ir ski riamas panašios tokių, kaip pienas ar sultys - įpakavimus iš lanksčios įpakavimo medžiagos, turinčios pluoštinės medžiagos sluoksnį, dažniausiai popierių, iš abiejų pusių padengtą skysčiui nelaidžiu termoplastines medžiagos sluoksniu, dažniausiai polietilenu. Įpakavimo lapas gali turėti papildomus sluoksnius, pavyzdžiui, aliuminio folijos, apsaugančius lapą nuo dujų ar šviesos poveikio. Įpakavimo lapas 2 patenka į įpakavimo mašiną 1 nuo rulono 3, jį išvyniojant nukreipiančiųjų velenėlių 4 pagalba aukštyn į viršutinę mašinos dalį ir toliau nukreipiant velenėliu 5 vertikaliai žemyn į įpakavimo mašiną. Aukščiau aprašytas įpakavimo lapo keitimo būdas į atskirus, praktiškai, gretasienius įpakavimo konteinerius yra šios srities technikoje gerai žinomas, todėl akivaizdu, kad nei būdui, nei mašinai, pateiktai pavyzdžio vietoje, smulkesnio aprašyto šiuo atveju nereikia.
Šio išradimo formavimo įrenginys 10 detaliau parodytas fig.2, kurioje pavaizduota vamzdžio 7 atkarpa, suformuota iš įpakavimo medžiagos žinoma ipakavimo mašina. Vamzdis 7 parodytas daliniame pjūvyje, kad būtų aiškiau, kaip užpildymo vamzdelis 9 užpilde vamzdį 7 ir kaip skystis 13 išteka iš užpildymo vamzdelio 9 galo. Vamzdžio 7 apvalus skerspjūvis nuosekliai keičiamas į stačiakampį ar keturkampį formavimo įrenginiu 10 su išdėstytomis abiejose vamzdžio 7 to, plokštės išdėstytos paromis ir Kiekviena plokštė turi praktiškai (fig.3), sienelę 14 ir dvi tarpusavyje lygiagrečias atramas 15. Kiekvienos plokštės 11 pagrinde yra horizontalus iškyšulys 16, sujungiantis plokštę 11 su sulydymo žiauna 17. Sulydymo žiaunos pritvirtintos taip, kad jas būtų galima perkelti neparodytomis svirtimis ar darbiniais elementais prie įpakavimo mašinos 1 rėmo, dėka to, veikiant mašinai, jos gali būti perkeltos horizontaliai viena prie kitos ir viena nuo kitos, o taip pat aukštyn ir žemyn tarp viršutinės ir apatinės padėčių, atitinkančių fig.2 parodytas padėtis. Plokštės 11 taip pat gali būti pasuktos į atvira ir uždara padėtis, parodytas fig.2 viršuje ir apačioje (darbinė padėtis). Šie perkėlimai atliekami neparodytais sujungimais, numatytais jungiamiesiems iškyšuliams 18, esantiems kiekvienoje plokštės 11 pusėje. Tiek sulydymo žiaunų 17, tiek ir plokščių 11 įrengimas bei jų judėjimas, veikiant mašinai, gerai žinomi šios srities technikoje (pavyzdžiui, iš EP 90712 aprašymo), ir čia smulkiau aprašomi nebus.
Kaip nurodyta aukščiau, kiekviena plokštė 11 turi sienelę 14 ir atramas 15, kurių atsukti į vamzdį 7 darbiniai paviršiai išdėstomi vienas prie kito, todėl dvi tarpusavyje prigludusios plokštės kartu sudaro keturkampio skerspjūvio ertmę įpakavimo medžiagos vamzdžiui, kurio perimetras praktiškai atitinka ertmės perimetrą. Kai plokštės 11 yra darbinėje padėtyje, atramų 15 paviršiai 19 priglunda vienas prie kito, todėl plokštėmis sudaromos keturkampės ertmės išmatavimai yra tiksliai apibrėžti. Atraminiai paviršiai 19 viršutinėje plokščių pusėje turi plokščias sritis, tiksliai sutampančias su aukščiau minėtomis šarnyrinėmis prielajomis 18, o kitoje pusėje - iškyšas 20, įeinančias į įdubimus 21. Iškyšos 20 ir įdubimai 21 išdėstyti vieni prieš kitus tokiu būdu, kad viena plokščių pora turi iškyšą virš šarnyrinės prielajos 18 ir Įdubimą 21 po šarnyrine prielaja, o kitoje pusėje įdubimas 21 yra virš šarnyrinės prielajos, o iškyša 20 - po ja. Kadangi plokštės 11 yra vienodos ir abiejų plokščių iškyšos 20 ir įdubimai 21 gali įsiskverbti vieni į kitus, tai, plokštėms judant, jų atraminiai paviršiai susiglaudžia. Išoriniame krašte iškyšos 20 turi nuožulas 22, mažinančias atramos 15 ir vamzdžio 7 trintį kontakto metu.
Naudojant formavimo Įrenginį aukščiau minėto tipo Įpakavimo mašinose, dviejų sąveikaujančių plokščių pora, veikdama pakaitomis, pastumia vamzdi 7, ir fig.2 viršuje parodyta sulydymo žiaunų 17 pora susiglausdama suspaudžia vamzdį 7, įkaitina termoplastinį lapo sluoksnį ir padaro skysčiui nelaidžią siūlę. Sulydymo žiaunų 17 suvedimo metu plokštės 11 yra atviroje padėtyje, t.y. šiek tiek nukreiptos išorėn, todėl tiesiogiai nekontaktuoja su vamzdžiu. Iš pavaizduotos aukščiau fig.2 padėties plokštės 11 palaipsniui susiglaudžia šarnyrinių prielajų 18 pagalba ir pasisuka aplink savo atitinkamas ašis 16 taip, kad išorinės plokščių (t.y. iškyšų 20 nuožulos 22) 7 išorinio krašto. Judant atraminių paviršių 19 sritys prisiglaudžia prie vamzdžio plokštėms 11 viena į kitą ir sulydymo žiaunoms 17 į fig.2 apačioje pavaizduotą padėtį, vamzdžio 7 apvalus skerspjūvis iškyšų 20, atramų 15 ir sienelių 14 darbinių paviršių dėka bus suformuotas į keturkampį. Tarpusavyje sąveikaujančių iškyšų 20 ir įdubimų 21 dėka išvengiama pavojaus, kad vamzdžio sritys bus suspaustos tarp atraminių paviršių 19. Kadangi atraminiai paviršiai yra banguoti ir turi nuožulas 22, įpakavimo lapui suteikiama padėtis, atitinkanti plokščių judėjimą Įrenginio veikimo metu, todėl visiškai išvengiama vamzdžio suspaudimų ar pažeidimų, naudojant šio išradimo formavimo plokštes. Kai sulydymo žiauna 17 pasiekia apatinę padėti, parodytą fig.2, skersinės vamzdžio 17 srities sujungimas baigtas, ir sulydymo žiaunos atsitraukia viena nuo kitos, o plokštės 11 grįžta į pradinę atvirą padėtį, parodytą fig.2 viršuje. Tokiu būdu, sulydymo žiaunos 17 ir sujungtos su jomis plokštės 11 palaipsniui apdirba vamzdį 7 ir padalina jį skersinėmis siūlėmis į atskirus, bet dar surištus įpakavimo konteinerius su keturkampiu skerspjūviu. Perpjovus įpakavimo konteinerius per skersinę siūlę ir apdirbus atsikišusias briaunas bei kampines sieneles, gaunami gerai žinomi gretasieniai įpakavimo konteineriai.

- IŠRADIMO APIBRĖŽTIS1. Įpakavimo mašinų, formuojančių iš lankstaus įpakavimo lapo atskirus įpakavimo konteinerius, formavimo įrenginys (10), turintis tarpusavyje sąveikaujančias U pavidalo skerspjūvio plokštes (11), susiliečiančias poromis savo atramomis (15) ir sudarančias keturkampes ertmes, bes i sk i r i a n t. i s tuo, kad kiekvienos plokščių poros atraminiai paviršiai (19) turi iškyšas (20), nukreipiančias vamzdį (7), plokštėms (11) judant vienai link kitos.
- 2. Įrenginys pagal 1 punktą, besiski riantis tuo, kad kiekviena atrama (15) turi iškyšą (20), atitinkančią prieš ją antros plokštės (11) atramoje esanti įdubimą (21).
