Claims (4)
- 리튬, 칼륨, 루비듐, 마그네슘, 칼슘, 바륨, 란타늄, 세륨, 프라세오디뮴, 네오디뮴, 사마륨, 철, 코발트 및 닉켈중에서 선택된 하나이상의 기본 금속을 귀금속 총 질량의 5배까지의 양으로 함유하며, 촉진제-함유담체를 백금 및/또는 팔라듐 총 질량의 30%이상에 상응하는 양의 백금 및/또는 팔라듐 화합물의 용액(A)로 함침시키고 건조시켜 활성화시킨 다음, 로듐 화합물 및 임의로 백금 및/또는 팔라듐 화합물의 잔여분을 함유하는 용액(B)(용액(B)는 하나이상의 기본 금속 화합물을 함유한다)로 함침시켜 다시 건조시키고 활성화시킴으로써 수득할수 있음을 특징으로 하는, 촉진제로 임의로 기타 회토류 금속 산화물과의 혼합물로서 3내지 70중량% CeO2, 0내지 20중량%의 La2O3, 및 1내지 20중량%의 ZrO2, 0내지 10중량%의 Fe2O3및 0내지 20중량%의 NiO를 함유하는 담체로서 전이그룹의 산화알루미늄, 및 담체에 적용된 백금 및/또는 팔라듐 및 로듐 0.02내지 3중량%의 활성상(이때, 백금 및/또는 팔라듐 대 로듐의 중량비는 1:2 내지 15:1, 바람직하게는 1:1 내지 3:1이며, 임의로 백금 대 팔라듐의 중량비는 10:1 내지 1:5이다)을 함유하며, 이때 격자 안정화될 수 있는 담체는 촉진제 화합물의 용액으로 함침시키고/시키거나 제시된 촉진제 성분의 산화물, 수산화물 또는 탄산염의 현탁액과 담체를 혼합시켜 공급한 다음, 300내지 900℃의 공기중에서 처리하여 귀금속 화합물의 용액으로 함침시키고, 건조시켜 250내지 1050℃의 온도에서 임의로 열수조건하의 임의의 수소-함유 가스 중에서 활성화시키며, 촉매는 임의로 불활성 담체의 기준으로 5내지 30중량%양으로 세라믹 또는 금속의 불활성 담체상에 피복물 형태로 존재하는 내부 연소 엔진의 배기 가스 정제를 위한 촉매.
- 제1항에 있어서, 불활성 담체 코어를 갖는 벌집촉매 또는 유동 물질 쉘(shell) 촉매에 있어서, 촉진제를 함유하는 산화알루미늄 담체 총 질량의 30내지 100%는 용액(A)가 적용되기 전에 피복물로서 침착되며, 상기 총 질량의 0내지 70%는 용액(B)가 적용되기 전에 피복물로서 침착되고, 담체가 부분적으로 침착될 경우 촉진제는 담체의 부분적 매스(mass)에 있어서 상이한 농도를 가지며, 용액(B)가 적용되기 전에 침착된 부분적 매스는 바람직하게는 관찰된 농도 범위내에서 매스의 나머지 부분 보다 사용된 촉진제의 농도가 더 낮음을 특징으로 하는 촉매.
- 제2항에 있어서, 촉진제 CeO2는 용액(A)를 적용시키기 전에 수용성 화합물 형태로 담체 매스에 도입시키고, 이러한 촉진제를 산화물, 수산화물 또는 탄산염과 혼합하여 용액(B)를 적용시키기 전에 담체 매스에 도입시킴을 특징으로 하는 촉매.
