제1도 내지 제3도는 200 내지 600℃의 온도 범위 및 20,OOOh-1의 공간 속도에서 수행한 촉매시험 측정 결과를 나타낸다.

Claims (17)

  1. 환원이 200 내지 600℃의 온도 및 촉매의 단위 면적당 0.5 내지 100m3i.N./h.m2의 하중에 상응하는 1,000내지 60,000-1의 공간 속도에서 구리-함유 및/또는 철-함유 내산성 제올라이트 상에서 발생함을 특징으로 하여, 산화질소를 함유하는 폐기 가스를 암모니아 가스와 혼합시키고, 전이금속을 함유하는 제올라이트 촉매 상으로 승온에서 이동시키는, 암모니아를 이용하는 산소-함유 폐기 가스중에 존재하는 질소의 산화물을 환원시키는 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 제올라이트가 또한 세륨을 함유함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 제올라이트가 또한 몰리브데늄을 함유함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  4. 제1항 내지 3항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 제올라이트가 모르데나이트형의 것임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 모르데나이트형 제올라이트가 8이상, 바람직하게는 10 내지 30, 더욱 특히는 15 내지 25의 SiO2: Al203몰비(모듐러스)를 가짐을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  6. 제1항 내지 5항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 이의 이온 교환 용량내에서 전이금속 구리 및/또는 철 및, 임의로는, 또한 새륨 또는 몰리브데늄으로 하중된 제올라이트의 사용을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  7. 제1항 내지 6항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 사용되는 제올라이트가 이의 중량을 기준으로 0.1 내지 13.5중량%, 바람직하게는 0.2내지 7.5중량%, 더욱 히는 0.3 내지 5중량%의 충전이 금속 함량을 가짐을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 구리-함유 제올라이트가 제올라이트의 중량을 기준으로 0.2 내지 5.2중량%의 구리를 함유함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  9. 제7항에 있어서, 철-함유 제올라이트가 제올라이트의 중량에 대해 0.1 내지 4.5중량%의 철을 함유함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  10. 제6항 내지 9항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 제올라이트의 중량을 기준으로, 0.2 내지 5.2중량%의 구리 및/또는 0.1 내지 4.5중량%의 철이 각각 0.1 내지 1.0중량% 새륨과의 배합물로 존재함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  11. 제6항 내지 9항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 제올라이트의 중량을 기준으로 9.1 내지 5.2중량%의 구리 및/또는 0.1 내지 4.5중량%의 철이 각각 0.2 내지 2.5중량%의 몰리브대늄과의 배합물로 존재함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  12. 제1항 내지 11항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 촉매가 화학적으로 불활성인 성형 세라믹 또는 금속 담체상 표면 피복물의 형태, 바람직하게는 모노리륨성 또는 허니콤(honeycomb)형태(담채 촉매)로 사용됨을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  13. 제1항 내지 11항중 어느 한항에 있어서, 촉매가 결합재를 이용하여 성형되고, 벌크 또는 바람직하게는 모노리륨성 또는 허니콤 형태(고체촉매)중 성형 부재로서 사용됨을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  14. 제1항 내지 13항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 환원이 250 내지 550℃, 바람직하게 280 내지 500℃, 더욱 특히는 300 내지 480℃에서 발생함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  15. 제1항 내지 14항중 어느 한항에 있어서, 환원이 촉매 단위 면적당 1 내지 70, 바람직하게는 3 내지 45, 더욱 특히는 5 내지 15m3i.N./h.m2의 하중에 상응하는 2,000 내지 40,000, 바람직하게는 3,000 내지 20,000, 더욱 특히는 5,000 내지 10,000-1의 공간 속도에서 발생함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  16. 제1항 내지 15항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 암모니아 환원제에 대한 산화질소의 몰비를 0.6 내지 1.6, 바람직하게는 0.7 내지 1.1, 더욱 특히는 0.8 내지 1.0으로 사용함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  17. 제1항 내지 16항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 폐기 가스의 산소 합량이 0.1 용적%이상, 바람직하게는 0.5용적%이상, 더욱 특히는 1.0용적% 이상임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
