Claims (10)
- 전극간에 쌍안정성을 갖는 강유전성 액정을 협지하여 이룽진 액정소자를 구동하는 방법에 있어서, 파고치의 절대치가 일정한 값(lvthl) 미만인 제1의 진압신호를 상기 강유전성 액정에 인가하여, 상기 액정소자의 광투과 상태를 유지시키고, 파고치의 절대치가 상기 일정한 값(lvthl)이상인 제2의 전압신호를 상기 강유전성 액정에 인가하여, 상기 액정소자의 광투과 상태를 변화시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정소자의 구동방법.
- 상기 제2의 전압신호는 파고치의 절대치가 상기 액정소자의 광투과 상태의 전압의존이 대충 없어지는 포화치(lVsatl)이상의 전압신호인 것을 특징으로 하는 특허청구 범위 1기재의 액정소자의 구동방법.
- 상기 강유전성 액정에 인가되는 전압의 평균치가 대충 0인 것을 특징으로 하는 특허청구의 범위 1기재의 액정소자의 구동방법.
- 상기 제1의 전압신호를 상기 강유전성 액정에 인가하는 시간은 상기 제2의 전압신호를 상기 강유전성 액정에 인가하는 시간보다 긴 것을 특징으로 하는 특허청구 범위 1기재의 액정소자의 구동방법.
- 상기 제1의 전압신호 및 상기 제2의 전압신호는 펄스전압신호임을 특징으로 하는 특허청구의 범위 1기재의 액정소자의 구동방법.
- 전극간에 쌍안정성을 갖는 강유전성 액정을 협지해서 이루어진 액정소자를 구동하는 방법에 있어서 파고치의 절대치가 일정한 값(lvthl)미만인 제1의 전압신호를 상기 강유전성 액정에 인가하여, 상기 액정소자의 광투과 상태를 유지시키고, 파고치의 절대치가 상기 일정한 값(lvthl)이상에서 소정의 값의 제2의 전압 신호를 상기 강유전성 액정에 인가하여, 상기 액정소자의 광투과 상대를 일정하게 하고, 상기 제2의 전압신호를 인가한 다음, 파고치의 절대치가 상기 일정한 값(lvthl)이상이며, 또한 상기 제2의 전압신호의 파고치와는 역극성인 제3의 전압신호를 상기 강유전성 액정에 인가하여, 상기 액정소자의 광투과 상태를 변화시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정소자의 구동방법.
- 상기 제2의 전압신호는 파고치의 절대치가 상기 액정소자의 광투과 상태의 전압의존이 대충 없어지는 포화치(lvsatl)이상의 전압 신호임을 특징으로 하는 특허청구의 범위 6기재의 액정소자의 구동방법.
- 상기 강유전성 액정에 인가되는 전압의 평균치가 대충 0임을 특징으로 하는 특허청구의 범위 6기재의 액정소자의 구동방법.
- 상기 제1의 전압신호를 상기 강유전성 액정에 인가하는 시간은 상기 제2의 전압신호 및 상기 제3의 전압신호를 상기 강유전성 액정에 인가하는 시간보다 긴 것을 특징으로 하는 특허청구의 범위 6기재의 액정소자의 구동방법.
