Claims (16)
- 한 쌍의 전극에 적어도 전압의 인가에 의해 발광할 수 있는 전계 발광 소자로서,상기 전계 발광 소자는, 발광부와 비발광부를 가지고,상기 발광부 및 비발광부는, 소자의 휘도 분포를 원하는 상태로 하기 위한 분포가 되도록 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는, 전계 발광 소자.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 발광부 및 비발광부는, 소자의 휘도 분포가 전체적으로 대략 균일해지도록 형성되어 있는, 전계 발광 소자.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 한 쌍의 전극에 있어서 체적저항률이 높은 재료로 형성된 쪽의 전극은 평면형상으로 형성되고, 상기 비발광부는, 상기 체적저항률이 높은 재료로 형성된 쪽 전극의 단자부의 위치로부터 물리적으로 가까운 위치일수록 단위 면적당 차지하는 면적이 커지도록 형성되어 있는, 전계 발광 소자.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 한 쌍의 전극에 있어서 체적저항률이 높은 재료로 형성된 쪽의 전극은 평면형상으로 형성되고, 상기 발광부는, 상기 체적저항률이 높은 재료로 형성된 쪽 전극의 단자부의 위치로부터 물리적으로 먼 위치일수록 단위 면적당 차지하는 면적이 커지도록 형성되어 있는, 전계 발광 소자.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 발광부 및 비발광부는, 소자의 휘도 분포에 있어서 소자의 중앙부분이 다른 부분보다 밝아지도록 형성되어 있는, 전계 발광 소자.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 비발광부는, 그 비발광부를 형성하지 않은 상태로부터 상기 전계 발광 소자의 발광시 휘도를 저하시키고자 하는 비율이 큰 영역일수록, 단위 면적당 차지하는 면적이 커지도록 형성되어 있는, 전계 발광 소자.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 6 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 전계 발광 소자는, 한 쌍의 전극 사이에 적어도 전압의 인가에 의해 발광할 수 있는 유기층이 끼여 있는 유기 전계 발광 소자인, 전계 발광 소자.

- 제 1 항 내지 제 5 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 전계 발광 소자는, 한 쌍의 전극 사이에 적어도 전압의 인가에 의해 발광할 수 있는 유기층이 끼여 있는 유기 전계 발광 소자이고, 상기 발광부는, 상기 한 쌍의 전극의 양극의 소정 부분이, 일함수가 양극의 다른 부분보다 커지도록 변질됨으로써 구성되어 있는, 전계 발광 소자.
- 제 7 항 내지 제 12 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 전계 발광 소자는, 상기 발광부가 되는 부분에만 유기층이 형성되어 있는, 전계 발광 소자.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 6 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 전계 발광 소자는, 무기 전계 발광 소자인, 전계 발광 소자.
- 제 7 항 또는 제 14 항에 있어서,상기 비발광부는, 상기 한 쌍의 전극 사이의 적어도 일부에 절연부가 형성됨으로써 구성되어 있는, 전계 발광 소자.
- 제 15 항에 있어서,상기 전계 발광 소자는, 기판 상에 형성됨과 함께 보텀 에미션형으로 구성되고, 상기 기판과 투명 전극 사이의 상기 절연부와 대응하는 위치에 각각 광반사층이 형성되어 있는, 전계 발광 소자.
