- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 전류 제어 TFT의 소스 영역 및 상기 분리 반도체막은 상기 절연체상에 형성되고, 반도체막은 서로 간에 독립적인 상기 전류 제어 TFT의 소스 영역 및 상기 분리 반도체막을 형성하기 위해 사용되는, 자기 발광 장치.

- 적어도 하나의 자기 발광 장치를 갖는 전자 장치에 있어서:절연 표면상에 형성되는 제 1 반도체 아일랜드로서, 적어도 제 1 및 제 2 분순물 영역들과 그 사이에 채널 영역을 갖는, 상기 제 1 반도체 아일랜드;상기 절연 표면상에 형성되는 제 2 반도체 아일랜드로서, 상기 제 1 반도체 아일랜드로부터 분리되는, 상기 제 2 반도체 아일랜드;상기 제 1 반도체 아일랜드 및 상기 제 2 반도체 아일랜드상에 형성된 절연막;상기 제 1 반도체 아일랜드상에 형성되는 게이트 전극으로서, 그 사이에 상기 절연막이 삽입되는, 상기 게이트 전극;상기 제 2 반도체 아일랜드상에 형성되는 커패시터 형성 전극으로서, 그 사이에 상기 절연막이 삽입되고, 상기 게이트 전극과 상기 커패시터 형성 전극은 동일한 도전층에 형성되어 서로 전기적으로 접속되는, 상기 커패시터 형성 전극; 및캐소드, 애노드, 및 상기 캐소드와 상기 애노드사이에 삽입된 발광 물질을 포함하는 발광 소자로서, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 불순물 영역 중 하나는 상기 캐소드와 상기 애노드 중 하나에 전기적으로 접속되는, 상기 발광 소자를 포함하는, 전자 장치.
- 제 11항에 있어서,상기 전자 장치는 셀룰러 전화, 개인용 컴퓨터, 비디오 카메라, 고글형 디스플레이, 휴대용 컴퓨터, DVD 및 EL 디스플레이로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택되는, 전자 장치.
- 제 11항에 있어서,상기 게이트 전극과 전기적으로 접속된 드레인 영역을 갖는 스위칭 박막 트랜지스터를 더 포함하는, 전자 장치.
- 적어도 하나의 자기 발광 장치를 갖는 전자 장치에 있어서:절연 표면상에 형성된 제 1 반도체 아일랜드로서, 적어도 제 1 및 제 2 불순물 영역들과 그 사이에 채널 영역을 갖는, 상기 제 1 반도체 아일랜드;상기 절연 표면상에 형성된 제 2 반도체 아일랜드로서, 상기 제 1 반도체 아일랜드로부터 분리되는 상기 제 2 반도체 아일랜드;상기 제 1 반도체 아일랜드 및 상기 제 2 반도체 아일랜드상에 형성되는, 절연막;상기 제 1 반도체 아일랜드상에 형성되는 게이트 전극으로서, 그 사이에 상기 절연막이 삽입되어 있는, 게이트 전극;상기 제 2 반도체 아일랜드상에 형성된 커패시터 형성 전극으로서, 그 사이에 상기 절연막이 삽입되고, 동일한 도전층에 형성되어 서로 전기적으로 접속되어 있는, 상기 커패시터 형성 전극;상기 커패시터 형성 전극 및 상기 제 2 반도체 아일랜드를 가지며, 그 사이에 상기 절연막이 삽입되어 있는, 커패시터;상기 커패시터 형성 전극상에 형성되는, 층간 절연막;상기 층간 절연막상에 형성된 전류 공급선으로서, 상기 제 1 반도체 아일랜드의 상기 제 1 및 제 2 불순물 영역들 중 하나와 전기적으로 접속되는, 상기 전류 공급선; 및캐소드, 애노드, 및 상기 캐소드와 상기 애노드사이에 삽입된 발광 물질을 포함하는 발광 소자로서, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 불순물 영역들 중 다른 하나는 상기 캐소드와 상기 애노드 중 하나와 전기적으로 접속되는, 상기 발광 소자를 포함하고;상기 제 2 반도체 아일랜드는 상기 전류 공급선으로 덮어씌워지는, 전자 장치.
- 제 14항에 있어서,셀룰러 전화, 개인용 컴퓨터, 비디오 카메라, 고글형 디스플레이, 휴대용 컴퓨터, DVD 및 EL 디스플레이로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택되는, 전자 장치.
- 제 14항에 있어서,상기 전자 장치는 상기 게이트 전극에 전기적으로 접속된 드레인 영역을 갖는 스위칭 박막 트랜지스터를 더 포함하는, 전자 장치.
- 제 14항에 있어서,상기 제 1 및 제 2 반도체 아일랜드는 결정질 실리콘을 포함하는, 전자 장치.
- 제 14항에 있어서,상기 전자 장치는 상기 절연 표면상에 형성된 구동 회로를 더 포함하고, 상기 구동 회로는 결정질 채널 영역을 갖는 박막 트랜지스터들을 포함하는, 전자 장치.
- 적어도 하나의 자기 발광 장치를 갖는 전자 장치에 있어서,기판상에 형성된 게이트 배선;상기 기판상에 형성되고 적어도 하나의 제 1 박막 트랜지스터를 포함하는 제 1 스위칭 소자로서, 상기 제 1 박막 트랜지스터의 게이트 전극은 상기 게이트 배선과 전기적으로 접속되는, 상기 제 1 스위칭 소자;상기 게이트 배선을 가로질러 연장하는 소스 배선;상기 기판상에 형성되고 적어도 하나의 제 2 박막 트랜지스터를 포함하는 제 2 스위칭 소자로서, 상기 제 2 박막 트랜지스터는 적어도 제 1 및 제 2 불순물 영역들 및 채널 영역을 갖는 반도체 아일랜드, 상기 반도체 아일랜드상에 형성된 게이트 절연막, 및 상기 게이트 절연막상에 형성된 게이트 전극을 포함하고, 상기 게이트 전극은 적어도 상기 제 1 스위칭 소자를 통해 상기 소스 배선과 전기적으로 접속되는, 상기 제 2 스위칭 소자;상기 게이트 배선을 가로질러 연장되고, 상기 제 2 박막 트랜지스터의 상기 제 1 및 제 2 불순물 영역들 중 하나와 전기적으로 접속되는 전류 공급선;상기 제 2 박막 트랜지스터의 상기 게이트 전극과 상기 전류 공급선사이에 전기적으로 접속된 커패시터로서, 상기 전류 공급선에 의해 덮어 씌워지는, 상기 커패시터; 및캐소드, 애노드, 및 상기 캐소드와 상기 애노드간에 삽입된 발광 물질을 포함하는 발광 소자로서, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 불순물 영역들 중 다른 하나는 상기 캐소드 및 상기 애노드 중 하나와 전기적으로 접속되는, 상기 발광 소자를 포함하는, 전자 장치.
- 제 19항에 있어서,상기 전자 장치는 셀룰러 전화, 개인용 컴퓨터, 비디오 카메라, 고글형 디스플레이, 휴대용 컴퓨터, DVD 및 EL 디스플레이로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택되는, 전자 장치.
- 제 19항에 있어서,상기 반도체 아일랜드는 결정질 실리콘을 포함하는, 전자 장치.
- 제 19항에 있어서,상기 전자 장치는 상기 기판상에 형성된 구동 회로를 더 포함하고, 상기 구동 회로는 결정질 채널 영역을 갖는 박막 트랜지스터를 포함하는, 전자 장치.
- 적어도 하나의 자기 발광 장치를 갖는 전자 장치에 있어서,기판상에 형성된 게이트 배선;상기 기판상에 형성되고, 적어도 하나의 제 1 박막 트랜지스터를 포함하는 제 1 스위칭 소자로서, 상기 제 1 박막 트랜지스터의 게이트 전극은 상기 게이트 배선에 전기적으로 접속되는, 상기 제 1 스위칭 소자;상기 게이트 배선을 가로질러 연장한 소스 배선;상기 기판상에 형성되고 적어도 하나의 제 2 박막 트랜지스터를 포함하는 제 2 스위칭 소자로서, 상기 제 2 박막 트랜지스터는 적어도 제 1 및 제 2 불순물 영역 및 채널 영역을 갖는 반도체 아일랜드, 상기 반도체 아일랜드상에 형성된 게이트 절연막, 및 상기 게이트 절연막상에 형성된 게이트 전극을 포함하고, 상기 게이트 전극은 적어도 상기 제 1 스위칭 소자를 통해 상기 소스 배선에 전기적으로 접속되는, 상기 제 2 스위칭 소자;상기 게이트 배선을 가로질러 연장하고, 상기 박막 트랜지스터의 상기 제 1 및 제 2 불순물 영역들 중 하나에 전기적으로 접속되는 전류 공급선;상기 반도체 아일랜드와 동일한 물질을 포함하는 제 1 전극, 상기 제 2 박막 트랜지스터의 상기 게이트 전극과 동일한 물질을 포함하고, 상기 게이트 전극에 전기적으로 접속되는 제 2 전극, 및 상기 제 1 및 제 2 게이트 전극간의 상기 게이트 절연막과 동일한 물질을 포함하는 절연막을 갖는 커패시터로서, 상기 전류 공급선 아래에 위치한 커패시터; 및캐소드, 애노드 및 상기 캐소드와 상기 애노드간에 삽입된 발광 물질을 포함하는 발광 소자로서, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 불순물 영역들 중 다른 하나는 상기 캐소드 및 상기 애노드 중 하나에 전기적으로 접속되는, 상기 발광 소자를 포함하고;상기 제 1 전극은 상기 반도체 아일랜드로부터 분리되고, 상기 전류 공급선에 전기적으로 접속되는, 전자 장치.
- 제 23항에 있어서,상기 전자 장치는 셀룰러 전화, 개인용 컴퓨터, 비디오 카메라, 고글형 디스플레이, 휴대용 컴퓨터, DVD 및 EL 디스플레이로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택되는, 전자 장치.
- 제 23항에 있어서,상기 반도체 아일랜드는 결정질 실리콘을 포함하는, 전자 장치.
- 제 23항에 있어서,상기 전자 장치는 상기 기판상에 형성된 구동 회로를 더 포함하고, 상기 구동 회로는 결정질 채널 영역을 갖는 박막 트랜지스터들을 포함하는, 전자 장치.
