Description
도 1 및 도 2는 양극을 다양한 비율로 확대한 주사 전자 현미경 사진이다.
도 3 및 도 4는 음극을 상이한 비율로 확대한 주사 전자 현미경 사진이다.
도 5 및 도 6은 실시예 2a에 따라 제조된 본 발명의 분리막-전극(음극) 유닛의 단면의 주사 전자 현미경 사진이다.
Claims (14)
- 리튬 배터리의 전극으로서 유용한 다공성 전극 및 당해 전극에 도포된 분리막 층을 포함하는 분리막-전극 유닛으로서, 상기 분리막-전극 유닛이 평균 입도, 금속 성분 또는 이들 모두가 서로 상이한 두 가지 이상의 금속 산화물 입자 분획을 포함하는 무기 분리막 층을 포함하고, 상기 분리막 층이 다공성 전극의 기공의 평균 기공 크기(d)보다 큰 평균 입도(Dg)를 갖는 금속 산화물 입자들을 포함하고, 상기 금속 산화물 입자가 다공성 양극의 기공보다 작은 평균 입도(Dk)를 갖는 금속 산화물 입자들에 의해 함께 접착되어 있음을 특징으로 하는 분리막-전극 유닛.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 분리막 층의 두께(z)가 1.5Dg 이상 100Dg 미만임을 특징으로 하는 분리막-전극 유닛.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 분리막 층의 두께(z)가 5Dg 이상 20Dg 미만임을 특징으로 하는 분리막-전극 유닛.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 다공성 양극의 기공의 평균 기공 크기(d)보다 큰 평균 입도(Dg)를 갖는 금속 산화물 입자가 Al2O3 및 ZrO2 입자로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 하나 이상의 입자임을 특징으로 하는 분리막-전극 유닛.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 다공성 양극의 기공의 평균 기공 크기(d)보다 작은 평균 입도(Dk)를 갖는 금속 산화물 입자가 SiO2 및 ZrO2 입자로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 하나 이상의 입자임을 특징으로 하는 분리막-전극 유닛.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 다공성 양극의 기공의 평균 기공 크기(d)보다 큰 평균 입도(Dg)를 갖는 금속 산화물 입자의 평균 입도(Dg)가 10㎛ 미만임을 특징으로 하는 분리막-전극 유닛.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 분리막 층이 목적하는 차단(shutdown) 온도에서 용융되는 차단 입자들을 함유하는 피막을 추가로 포함함을 특징으로 하는 분리막-전극 유닛.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 차단 입자의 평균 입도(Dw)가 상기 다공성 분리막 층의 기공의 평균 기공 크기(ds) 이상임을 특징으로 하는 분리막-전극 유닛.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 차단 입자 층의 두께(Zw)가 상기 차단 입자의 평균 입도(Dw)와 동일한 값 내지 10Dw의 범위임을 특징으로 하는 분리막-전극 유닛.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 분리막 층의 다공도가 30 내지 70%임을 특징으로 하는 분리막-전극 유닛.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 반경 50㎝까지 손상되지 않고 굽혀질 수 있음을 특징으로 하는 분리막-전극 유닛.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 전극이 양극(캐소드) 또는 음극(애노드)으로서 유용한 전극임을 특징으로 하는 분리막-전극 유닛.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 기재된 분리막-전극 유닛을 포함하는 배터리.
- 제13항에 있어서, 리튬 배터리인 배터리.
