Claims (32)

- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 프로세서는, 상기 무선 통신 장치가 다음 도약 주기(hop period)에서 심볼들을 수신하라는 명령을 수신한 경우에, 상기 무선 통신 장치가 스케줄링되는지 여부를 결정하도록 또한 동작가능한, 무선 통신 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 프로세서는, 상기 무선 통신 장치가 N개의 다음 도약 주기들 중 적어도 하나의 주기에서 심볼들을 수신하라는 명령을 수신한 경우에, 상기 무선 통신 장치가 스케줄링되는지 여부를 결정하도록 또한 동작가능한, 무선 통신 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 프로세서는 상기 무선 통신 장치가 스케줄링되는지 여부 및 도약 주기들의 수에 기초하여 최적 랭크를 가진 하이브리드 채널 정보, 최적 랭크를 가진 광대역 채널 정보, 또는 최적 랭크를 가진 빔포밍된 채널 정보 중 하나를 생성하도록 또한 동작가능한, 무선 통신 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 프로세서는 상기 무선 통신 장치가 스케줄링되는지 여부 및 이전 도약 영역과 현재 도약 영역간의 거리에 기초하여 최적 랭크를 가진 하이브리드 채널 정보, 최적 랭크를 가진 광대역 채널 정보, 또는 최적 랭크를 가진 빔포밍된 채널 정보 중 하나를 생성하도록 또한 동작가능한, 무선 통신 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 이전 도약 영역은 바로 이전 도약 영역인, 무선 통신 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 프로세서는 직교 주파수 분할 다중화(OFDM) 방식을 이용하여 신호를 전송하도록 또한 동작가능한, 무선 통신 장치.

- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 최적 랭크를 가진 하이브리드 채널 정보, 상기 최적 랭크를 가진 광대역 채널 정보, 및 상기 최적 랭크를 가진 빔포밍된 채널 정보 각각은 7 비트들로 구성되는, 무선 통신 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 최적 랭크는 2 비트들로 구성되는, 무선 통신 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 프로세서는 상기 최적 랭크를 가진 하이브리드 채널 정보, 상기 최적 랭크를 가진 광대역 채널 정보, 및 상기 최적 랭크를 가진 빔포밍된 채널 정보를 양자화(quantize)하도록 또한 동작가능한, 무선 통신 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 프로세서는 우세한 고유빔(dominant eigenbeam)들에만 기초하여 상기 하이브리드 채널 정보 및 상기 빔포밍된 채널 정보를 생성하도록 또한 동작가능한, 무선 통신 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 채널 정보는 CQI를 포함하며, 상기 CQI는 수신된 심볼들에 대한 신호 대 잡음비 추정치를 구성하는, 무선 통신 장치.
- 제 13항에 있어서, 상기 CQI는 수신 안테나마다의 간섭 분산, 간섭 공분산 매트릭스 또는 열 잡음을 포함하는, 무선 통신 장치.
- 제 14항에 있어서, 상기 프로세서는 광대역 파일럿들 또는 전용 파일럿들 또는 상기 광대역 및 전용 파일럿들로부터 추정된 간섭을 포함할 수 있는 하이브리드 방식으로부터 수신 안테나마다의 간섭 분산 또는 간섭 공분산 매트릭스를 추정하도록 또한 구성되는, 무선 통신 장치.
- 채널 정보를 생성하기 위한 방법으로서,무선 통신 장치가 심볼들을 수신하도록 스케줄링되는지 여부를 결정하는 단계;만일 상기 무선 통신 장치가 심볼들을 수신하도록 스케줄링되면, 빔포밍된 채널 정보를 생성하는 단계; 및만일 무선 통신 장치가 심볼들을 수신하도록 스케줄링되지 않으면, 광대역 채널 정보를 생성하는 단계를 포함하는, 채널 정보 생성 방법.
- 제 16항에 있어서, 상기 무선 통신 장치가 스케줄링되는지 여부를 결정하는 상기 단계는 상기 무선 통신 장치가 다음 도약 주기에서 심볼들을 수신하라는 명령을 수신하였는지 여부를 결정하는 단계를 포함하는, 채널 정보 생성 방법.
- 제 16항에 있어서, 상기 무선 통신 장치가 스케줄링되는지 여부를 결정하는 상기 단계는 상기 무선 통신 장치가 N개의 다음 도약 주기들 중 적어도 하나의 주기에서 심볼들을 수신하라는 명령을 수신하였는지 여부를 결정하는 단계를 포함하는, 채널 정보 생성 방법.
- 제 16항에 있어서,도약 주기들의 수를 결정하는 단계;상기 도약 주기들의 수가 미리 결정된 수보다 많은 경우에, 하이브리드 채널 정보 또는 빔포밍된 채널 정보 중 하나를 생성하는 단계; 및상기 도약 주기들의 수가 상기 미리 결정된 수보다 적은 경우에, 상기 광대역 채널 정보 또는 상기 하이브리드 채널 정보를 생성하는 단계를 더 포함하는, 채널 정보 생성 방법.
- 제 16항에 있어서,이전 도약 영역과 현재 도약 영역간의 거리가 임계치를 초과하는지 여부를 결정하는 단계;만일 상기 거리가 임계치보다 크면, 하이브리드 채널 정보 또는 빔포밍된 채널 정보 중 하나를 생성하는 단계; 및만일 상기 거리가 상기 임계치보다 작으면, 상기 광대역 채널 정보 또는 상기 하이브리드 채널 정보를 생성하는 단계를 더 포함하는, 채널 정보 생성 방법.
- 제 20항에 있어서, 상기 이전 도약 영역은 바로 이전 도약 영역인, 채널 정보 생성 방법.
- 제 16항에 있어서, 상기 광대역 채널 정보 및 상기 빔포밍된 채널 정보 각각은 5 비트들로 구성되는, 채널 정보 생성 방법.
- 제 16항에 있어서, 상기 생성된 광대역 채널 정보 또는 상기 빔포밍된 채널 정보를 양자화하는 단계를 더 포함하는, 채널 정보 생성 방법.
