Claims (9)
- 개인 인증 방법으로서,손가락에 광을 조사하는 스텝과,상기 손가락을 투과한 광을 기초로 혈관 패턴 화상으로서 화상을 추출하는 스텝과,상기 화상과 미리 등록된 혈관 패턴 화상을 비교하여 개인 인증을 실행하는 스텝을 포함하고,상기 개인 인증을 실행하는 스텝에서는, 상기 화상 또는 상기 등록된 혈관 패턴 화상 내의 적어도 한 쪽의 화상에 대하여 복수의 영역으로 분할하고, 상기 분할된 영역 각각에 대하여, 다른 쪽의 화상과 비교하여 각각 일치하는 위치정보를 취득하고, 취득한 각기의 위치정보에 기초하여, 상기 화상의 유사도를 판정하는 것을 특징으로 하며,상기 방법은 상이한 위치들의 궤적들(loci)을 골라냄으로써(picking out) 상기 화상에서 혈관을 추적하는 스텝, 및 서로 중첩하여 혈관 패턴을 통계적으로 강조하는 스텝을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 개인 인증 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 개인 인증을 실행하는 스텝에서는, 상기 화상 또는 상기 등록된 혈관 패턴 화상 내의 적어도 한 쪽의 화상에 대하여 복수의 영역으로 분할하고, 상기 분할된 영역 각각에 대하여, 다른 쪽의 화상과 비교하여 각각 일치하는 위치정보를 취득하고, 이것들의 위치정보에 있어서의 위치 어긋남량과 위치 어긋남 방향의 유사도에 기초하여 상기 화상의 유사도를 판정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 개인 인증 방법.

- 제1항에 있어서,가장 낮은 휘도 강도를 가지는 픽셀들이 출발 위치로 이용되고 가장 높은 휘도 강도를 가지는 픽셀들이 또한 소정의 확률로 상기 출발 위치로서 이용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 개인 인증 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,소정의 추적점에 대해 이동시키기 더욱 용이한 방향 및 상기 추적점의 추적의 길이가 결정되고, 상기 길이에 의해 결정된 거리에 대하여 추적이 행해졌을 때 상기 추적은 중단되는 것을 특징으로 하는 개인 인증 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서,추적이 중단된 후, 상기 추적점은 추적 가능한 점들 중에서 가장 낮은 휘도 강도를 가지는 픽셀로 이동되고, 상기 위치는 궤적 정보로서 등록 또는 갱신되어 현재의 추적점이 다시 추적되지 않는 것을 특징으로 하는 개인 인증 방법.
- 개인 인증 장치로서,손가락에 광을 조사하는 광원과,상기 손가락을 투과한 광을 촬상하는 수단과,상기 촬상된 혈관 패턴 화상을 추출하고, 상기 화상과 미리 등록된 혈관 패턴 화상을 비교하여 개인 인증을 실행하는 연산 수단을 포함하고,상기 연산 수단은, 상기 화상 또는 상기 등록된 혈관 패턴 화상 내의 적어도 한 쪽의 화상에 대하여 복수의 영역으로 분할하고, 상기 분할된 영역 각각에 대하여, 다른 쪽의 화상과 비교하여 각각 일치하는 위치정보를 취득하고, 취득한 각기의 위치정보에 기초하여, 상기 화상의 유사도를 판정하는 것을 특징으로 하며,상기 장치는 상이한 위치들의 궤적들(loci)을 골라냄으로써(picking out) 상기 화상에서 혈관을 추적하는 수단, 및 서로 중첩하여 혈관 패턴을 통계적으로 강조하는 수단을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 개인 인증 장치.
- 제8항에 있어서,상기 연산 수단은, 상기 화상 또는 상기 등록된 혈관 패턴 화상 내의 적어도 한 쪽의 화상에 대하여 복수의 영역으로 분할하고, 상기 분할된 영역 각각에 대하여, 다른 쪽의 화상과 비교하여 각각 일치하는 위치정보를 취득하고, 이것들의 위치정보에 있어서의 위치 어긋남량과 위치 어긋남 방향의 유사도에 기초하여 상기 화상의 유사도를 판정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 개인 인증 장치.
