Abstract
Description
한편, 질화규소질의 결정과 함유시키는 복수의 금속규화물의 열팽창계수의 차가 큰 재료에서는, 내열충격성이 낮다는 문제도 있었다. 예를 들면, 금속규화물로서 W의 규화물과 Fe의 규화물을 함유할 경우, 질화규소의 결정과 W의 규화물이나, 질화규소의 결정과 Fe의 규화물의 열팽창계수의 차가 크다. 그 때문에, 열충격을 받아서 질화규소질 소결체에 열응력이 가해졌을 경우, 질화규소질의 결정과 금속규화물 사이에 균열이 생기기 쉬워져, 내열충격성이 저하되어 있었다.
본 발명은 상술의 문제점을 감안하여 안출된 것이며, 기계적 특성 및 열적 특성, 특히 기계적 강도 및 내열충격성을 향상시킨 질화규소질 소결체 및 그 제조방법을 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
본 발명자들이 예의검토한 결과, 제1~제3금속규화물 중 2개이상이 서로 접하는 인접상을 존재시킴으로써, 단독의 금속규화물에 기계적 응력이나 열응력이 집중되는 것을 억제하고, 이것에 의해 질화규소질 소결체의 기계적 특성, 내열충격성을 향상시킬 수 있는 것을 처음 발견했다. 즉, 본건 발명에 따르면, 기계적 특성과 내열충격성이 뛰어난 질화규소질 소결체를 제공할 수 있다.
Claims (17)
- 질화규소의 결정과, 이하의 제1~제3금속규화물 중 2개이상을 함유하는 입계층을 갖는 질화규소질 소결체로서,상기 입계층은, 제1~제3금속규화물 중 2개이상이 서로 접하는 인접상을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 질화규소질 소결체.제1금속규화물:Fe, Cr, Mn 및 Cu로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택된 1개이상의 제1의 금속원소로 이루어지는 금속규화물제2금속규화물:W, Mo 중 1개이상의 제2의 금속원소로 이루어지는 금속규화물제3금속규화물:제1의 금속원소와 제2의 금속원소를 함유하는 복수 금속성분으로 이루어지는 금속규화물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1의 금속원소가 Fe, 상기 제2의 금속원소가 W인 것을 특징으로 하는 질화규소질 소결체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 인접상에서는 제1금속규화물이 제2금속규화물 또는 제3금속규화물을 둘러싸도록 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 질화규소질 소결체.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 인접상에서는 제1금속규화물이 제2금속규화물 또는 제3금속규화물을 둘러싸도록 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 질화규소질 소결체.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 질화규소의 결정입자의 평균 입경이 15㎛이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 질화규소질 소결체.
- 제3항에 있어서, 질화규소질 소결체 중에 있어서의 상기 제1의 금속원소의 함유량을 합계 0.2~10질량%, 상기 제2의 금속원소의 함유량을 합계 0.1~3질량%의 범위로 하여, 상기 제1의 금속원소를 제2의 금속원소보다 많이 함유한 것을 특징으로 하는 질화규소질 소결체.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 질화규소질 소결체는 Si분말, 혹은 Si분말과 질화규소분말의 혼합분말과, 평균 입경이 0.5~20㎛인 상기 제1의 금속원소의 화합물로 이루어지는 분말과, 평균 입경이 0.1~5㎛인 상기 제2의 금속원소의 화합물로 이루어지는 분말을 함유하는 분체를 성형, 소성해서 얻어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 질화규소질 소결체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 인접상에서는 제2금속규화물이 제1금속규화물 또는 제3금속규화물을 둘러싸도록 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 질화규소질 소결체.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 인접상에서는 제2금속규화물이 제1금속규화물 또는 제3금속규화물을 둘러싸도록 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 질화규소질 소결체.
- 제8항에 있어서, 질화규소질 소결체 중에 있어서의 상기 제1의 금속원소의 함유량을 합계 0.01~2질량%, 상기 제2의 금속원소의 함유량을 합계 0.2~10질량%의 범위로 하여, 상기 제2의 금속원소를 제1의 금속원소보다 많이 함유한 것을 특징으로 하는 질화규소질 소결체.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 질화규소질 소결체는 Si분말, 혹은 Si분말과 질화규소분말의 혼합분말과, 평균 입경이 0.1~5㎛인 상기 제1의 금속원소의 화합물로 이루어지는 분말과, 평균 입경이 1~30㎛인 상기 제2의 금속원소의 화합물로 이루어지는 분말을 함유하는 분체를 성형, 소성해서 얻어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 질화규소질 소결체.
- Si분말, 혹은 Si분말과 질화규소분말의 혼합분말에, 미리 평균 입경 0.1~20㎛의 Fe, Cr, Mn 및 Cu 중 1개이상의 제1의 금속원소의 화합물에, 평균 입경 0.1~30㎛의 W, Mo 중 1개이상의 제2의 금속원소의 화합물을 습식 혼합, 건조해서 얻어진 예비 혼합분말을 혼합하여 원료분말을 제조하는 원료 제조공정;상기 원료분말과 유기결합제로 이루어지는 성형체를 제작하는 성형공정;실질적으로 질소 가스, 아르곤 가스, 또는 이들의 혼합 가스로 이루어지는 분위기 중에서 상기 유기결합재를 탈지하여 탈지체를 제작하는 탈지공정;상기 탈지체를 실질적으로 질소 가스 분위기 중에서 질화체로 변환하는 질화공정;및상기 질화체를 질소 가스를 함유하는 비산화성 분위기 중에서 소성하여 소결체를 제작하는 소성공정을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 질화규소질 소결체의 제조방법.
- 제12항에 있어서, 상기 예비 혼합분말로서 평균 입경이 0.5~20㎛인 상기 제1의 금속원소의 화합물과, 평균 입경이 0.1~5㎛인 상기 제2의 금속원소의 화합물을 사용하고,질화규소질 소결체 중에 있어서의 상기 제1의 금속원소의 함유량이 합계 0.2~10질량%, 상기 제2의 금속원소의 함유량이 합계 0.1~3질량%의 범위로 되어, 상기 제1의 금속원소가 상기 제2의 금속원소보다 많이 질화규소질 소결체 중에 함유되도록 제조하는 것을 특징으로 하는 질화규소질 소결체의 제조방법.
- 제12항에 있어서, 상기 소성공정에 있어서의 강온속도가 50℃/시간이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 질화규소질 소결체의 제조방법.
- 제12항에 있어서, 상기 예비 혼합분말로서 평균 입경이 0.1~5㎛인 상기 제1의 금속원소의 화합물과, 평균 입경이 1~30㎛인 상기 제2의 금속원소의 화합물을 사용하고,질화규소질 소결체 중에 있어서의 상기 제1의 금속원소의 함유량이 합계 0.01~2질량%, 상기 제2의 금속원소의 함유량이 합계 0.2~10질량%의 범위로 되어, 상기 제2의 금속원소가 상기 제1의 금속원소보다 많이 질화규소질 소결체 중에 함유되도록 제조하는 것을 특징으로 하는 질화규소질 소결체의 제조방법.
- 제3항에 기재된 질화규소질 소결체를 사용한 것을 특징으로 하는 내용융 금속용 부재.
- 제3항에 기재된 질화규소질 소결체를 사용한 것을 특징으로 하는 내마모용 부재.
