- (a) 동심형상으로 간격을 두어 배치된 순차적으로 지름이 큰 제1 원통체(1), 제2 원통체(2) 및 제3 원통체(3)를 구비하고, 그 중 상기 제1 원통체(1)는 바닥판(7)을 구비하며, 제3 원통체(3)는 바닥판(22)을 구비하고 있고,(b) 상기 제1 원통체(1)의 내측에, 상기 제1원통체(1)와 중심축이 동축이고 간격을 두어 배치된 복사통(4)을 구비하고,(c) 상기 복사통(4)의 지름방향 중심부에 버너(5)를 구비하고,(d) 상기 제1 원통체(1)와 상기 제2 원통체(2)에 의하여 반경방향으로 구획된 틈에 원료가스를 개질하는 개질촉매층(15)과, 그 상류측에 원료가스를 예열하는 예열층(14)을 구비하고,(e) 상기 제2 원통체(2)와 상기 제3 원통체(3)와의 사이에 형성된 틈 중, 상기 개질촉매층(15)의 외측에 해당하는 부위의 틈에 열회수층(42)이 형성되고,(f) 상기 제2 원통체(2)와 상기 제3 원통체(3)와의 사이에 형성된 틈 중, 상기 열회수층(42)에 이어지는 틈에 CO변성촉매층(16)이 배치되고,(g) 상기 CO변성촉매층(16)으로부터의 개질가스의 흐름방향의 하류측에 CO제거촉매층(19)이 배치되어 있고,(h)상기 복사통(4) 내의 버너(5)에서 생성하는 연소배기가스가, 상기 복사통(4)의 끝단부와 상기 제1 원통체(1)의 상기 바닥판(7)과의 사이에서 유로방향을 반전하여, 상기 복사통(4)과 상기 제1 원통체(1)와의 사이에 형성된 틈으로 흐르고, 그 흐름방향이 상기 개질촉매층(15)을 흐르는 원료가스의 흐름방향과 대향하여 흐르도록 되어 있으며,(i) 상기 개질촉매층(15)의 상류측에 위치하는 상기 예열층(14)이 복사통(4)의 외주에 위치하며, 상기 CO변성촉매층(16)이 상기 예열층(14)의 외주에 위치하고 있으며,(j)상기 개질촉매층(15)에서 생성된 개질가스가, 상기 제2 원통체(2)의 끝단부와 상기 제3 원통체(3)의 상기 바닥판(22)의 사이에서 유로방향을 반전하여, 상기 열회수층(42)으로 흘러, 상기 개질촉매층(15)으로부터의 열을 회수한 후, CO변성촉매층(16)에 유입하며,(k)상기 CO변성촉매층(16)을 유통(流通)한 개질가스가 CO제거촉매층(19)으로 유통하는 것을 특징으로 하는 원통식 수증기 개질기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 예열층(14)의 내부에는, 1개의 연속한 봉재를 나선상으로 배치하여 나선상의 유로가 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 원통식 수증기 개질기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 열회수층(42)의 내부에는, 복수개의 연속한 봉재를 나선상으로 배치하여 나선상의 유로가 형성되며, 또한 상기 나선상의 유로의 길이를 상기 CO변성촉매층(16)의 내열온도 이하로 하는 데에 충분한 길이로 하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 원통식 수증기 개질기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 CO변성촉매층(16)의 CO변성촉매는, 적어도 350℃의 온도에서 연속하여 사용이 가능한 촉매인 것을 특징으로 하는 원통식 수증기 개질기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 CO변성촉매층(16) 중, 상기 개질촉매층(15) 측에 고온 CO변성촉매를 배치하고, 상기 CO제거촉매층(19) 측에 저온 CO변성촉매를 배치하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 원통식 수증기 개질기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 CO변성촉매층(16)에는, 통상의 운전상태에 있어서 사용되는 전체량의 CO변성촉매가 충전되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 원통식 수증기 개질기.
- (a) 동심형상으로 간격을 두어 배치된 순차적으로 지름이 큰 제1 원통체(1), 제2 원통체(2) 및 제3 원통체(3)를 구비하고, 그 중 상기 제1 원통체(1)는 바닥판(7)을 구비하며, 제3 원통체(3)는 바닥판(22)을 구비하고 있고,(b) 상기 제1 원통체(1)의 내측에, 상기 제1원통체(1)와 중심축이 동축이고 간격을 두어 배치된 복사통(4)을 구비하고,(c) 상기 복사통(4)의 지름방향 중심부에 버너(5)를 구비하고,(d) 상기 제1 원통체(1)와 상기 제2 원통체(2)에 의하여 반경방향으로 구획된 틈에 원료가스를 개질하는 개질촉매층(15)과, 그 상류측에 원료가스를 예열하는 예열층(14)을 구비하고,(e) 상기 제2 원통체(2)와 상기 제3 원통체(3)와의 사이에 형성된 틈 중, 상기 개질촉매층(15)의 외측에 해당하는 부위의 틈에 열회수층(42)이 형성되고,(f) 상기 제2 원통체(2)와 상기 제3 원통체(3)와의 사이에 형성된 틈 중, 상기 열회수층(42)에 이어지는 틈에 CO변성촉매층(16)이 배치되고,(g) 상기 CO변성촉매층(16)으로부터의 개질가스의 흐름방향의 하류측에 CO제거촉매층(19)이 배치되어 있고,(h)상기 복사통(4) 내의 버너(5)에서 생성하는 연소배기가스가, 상기 복사통(4)의 끝단부와 상기 제1 원통체(1)의 상기 바닥판(7)과의 사이에서 유로방향을 반전하여, 상기 복사통(4)과 상기 제1 원통체(1)와의 사이에 형성된 틈으로 흐르고, 그 흐름방향이 상기 개질촉매층(15)을 흐르는 원료가스의 흐름방향과 대향하여 흐르도록 되어 있으며,(i) 상기 개질촉매층(15)의 상류측에 위치하는 상기 예열층(14)이 복사통(4)의 외주에 위치하며, 상기 CO변성촉매층(16)이 상기 예열층(14)의 외주에 위치하고 있으며,(j)상기 개질촉매층(15)에서 생성된 개질가스가, 상기 제2 원통체(2)의 끝단부와 상기 제3 원통체(3)의 상기 바닥판(22)의 사이에서 유로방향을 반전하여, 상기 열회수층(42)으로 흘러, 상기 개질촉매층(15)으로부터의 열을 회수한 후, CO변성촉매층(16)에 유입하며,(k)상기 CO변성촉매층(16)을 유통(流通)한 개질가스가 CO제거촉매층(19)으로 유통하며,상기 CO변성촉매층(16)을 냉각하는 전열관(26)을, 상기 CO변성촉매층(16)의 외벽주위에 나선상으로 감아 부착하여 구성하고, 상기 개질촉매층(15)에서의 개질반응에 사용하는 물을 상기 전열관(26)에 통과시켜 상기 CO변성촉매층(16)을 냉각하도록 하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 원통식 수증기 개질기.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 CO변성촉매층(16)의 바깥 주위에 단열재층(44)을 설치하고, 상기 단열재층(44)의 외주에 상기 CO변성촉매층(16)을 냉각하는 전열관(26)을 나선상으로 감아 부착하여 구성하고, 개질반응에 사용하는 물을 상기 전열관(26) 내로 통과시켜 상기 CO변성촉매층(16)을 냉각하도록 하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 원통식 수증기 개질기.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 전열관(26)의 전단(前段)에서 연소배기가스와의 열교환을 수행하고, 상기 개질촉매층(15)에 도입하는 물을 예열하는 급수예열부를 구비하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 원통식 수증기 개질기.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 전열관(26)의 전단에서 연소배기가스와의 열교환을 수행하고, 상기 개질촉매층(15)에 도입하는 물을 예열하는 급수예열부를 구비하여 이루어지며, 또한 상기 급수예열부는, 연소배기가스가 유출하는 연소배기가스의 출구 부근의 개질기 외측면에 전열관(26)을 감아 부착하여 형성하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 원통식 수증기 개질기.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 예열층(14)의 내부에는, 1개의 연속한 봉재를 나선상으로 배치하여 나선상의 유로가 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 원통식 수증기 개질기.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 열회수층(42)의 내부에는, 복수개의 연속한 봉재를 나선상으로 배치하여 나선상의 유로가 형성되며, 또한 상기 나선상의 유로의 길이를 상기 CO변성촉매층(16)의 내열온도 이하로 하는 데에 충분한 길이로 하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 원통식 수증기 개질기.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 CO변성촉매층(16)의 CO변성촉매는, 적어도 350℃의 온도에서 연속하여 사용이 가능한 촉매인 것을 특징으로 하는 원통식 수증기 개질기.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 CO변성촉매층(16) 중, 상기 개질촉매층(15) 측에 고온 CO변성촉매를 배치하고, 상기 CO제거촉매층(19) 측에 저온 CO변성촉매를 배치하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 원통식 수증기 개질기.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 CO변성촉매층(16)에는, 통상의 운전상태에 있어서 사용되는 전체량의 CO변성촉매가 충전되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 원통식 수증기 개질기.
