Abstract
Description
回転機械の相対回転する箇所に配置される環状の摺動部品であって、
前記摺動部品の摺動面には、漏れ側に連通する第1溝部と、該第1溝部に連通して周方向に両側に延設される第2溝部と、から構成される動圧発生機構が複数設けられており、
前記第2溝部は、延設方向の端面が前記第1溝部との連通部よりも被密封流体側に配置されている。
これによれば、摺動面の漏れ側まで供給された被密封流体を漏れ側に連通する第1溝部により回収し、回収した被密封流体を第2溝部から摺動面間に流出させて一部を径方向被密封流体側に戻すので、漏れ側に漏れる被密封流体が少ないとともに、摺動面の広い面積で潤滑性を向上させることができる。また、第2溝部が摺動部品の相対回転方向と交差して被密封流体側に延びるので、下流側の第2溝部の端面から被密封流体を摺動面間の被密封流体側に流出させることができ、摺動面間に流出した被密封流体を被密封流体側に排出しやすくかつ漏れ側に移動することを抑制して、摺動面間に多くの量の被密封流体を保持させることができる。
これによれば、第1溝部は溝の深さが深く容積が大きいので、摺動面の漏れ側まで供給された多くの量の被密封流体を回収できる。
これによれば、第2溝部内で円滑に動圧を発生させることができる。
これによれば、第2溝部の端面から被密封流体側に向けて被密封流体が流出するので、被密封流体を被密封流体側に排出させやすい。
これによれば、摺動面間における第1溝部よりも被密封流体側の被密封流体が第1溝部に流入することを抑制し、摺動面の漏れ側まで供給された被密封流体を効率よく回収することができる。
これによれば、摺動部品の相対回転時に、特定動圧発生機構により摺動面間を離間させて摺動面間に適当な流体膜を生成しつつ、動圧発生機構によって被密封流体の漏れ側への漏れを低減できる。
これによれば、遠心力により第2溝部内の被密封流体を被密封流体側に戻すことができるとともに、第1溝部内に被密封流体を保持しやすい。

Claims (7)
- 回転機械の相対回転する箇所に配置される環状の摺動部品であって、
前記摺動部品の摺動面には、漏れ側に連通する第1溝部と、該第1溝部に連通して周方向に両側に延設される第2溝部と、から構成される動圧発生機構が複数設けられており、
前記第2溝部は、延設方向の端面が前記第1溝部との連通部よりも被密封流体側に配置されている摺動部品。 - 前記第1溝部が前記第2溝部よりも深い寸法に形成されている請求項1に記載の摺動部品。
- 前記第2溝部は、漏れ側に凸となるように湾曲して延設されている請求項1または2に記載の摺動部品。
- 前記第2溝部の端面は、被密封流体側を向くように形成されている請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の摺動部品。
- 前記第1溝部の被密封流体側端面は、前記第2溝部の被密封流体側の側面に沿って、または前記第2溝部の被密封流体側の側面よりも漏れ側に配置されている請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載の摺動部品。
- 前記摺動部品の摺動面には、前記動圧発生機構よりも被密封流体側に配置され前記動圧発生機構とは独立する特定動圧発生機構を備えている請求項1ないし5のいずれかに記載の摺動部品。
- 前記第1溝部は内径側に連通する請求項1ないし6のいずれかに記載の摺動部品。
