Description
回転機械の相対回転する箇所に配置される環状を成す一対の摺動部品であって、
一方の摺動部品の摺動面には、漏れ側に連通する少なくとも浅溝部を有する動圧発生機構が複数設けられており、他方の摺動部品の摺動面には、前記動圧発生機構よりも深い寸法を有する深溝が漏れ側に連通して設けられており、相対回転時に前記深溝は前記動圧発生機構の浅溝部に重なる。
これによれば、一対の摺動部品の相対回転時に、深溝は動圧発生機構の浅溝部上を横切り、そのタイミングで動圧発生機構の浅溝部に深溝が連通し、浅溝部から深溝に移動する流体によりコンタミが動圧発生機構の浅溝部に堆積しにくくなっている。
これによれば、動圧発生機構の浅溝部と深溝とを広い領域で連通させることができ、浅溝部の終端以外の部分からも流体を深溝側に移動させることができる。
これによれば、動圧発生機構の浅溝部と深溝とを長い時間連通させることができるので、浅溝部内のコンタミを深溝内に流出させやすい。
これによれば、摺動部品の相対回転時において動圧発生機構の浅溝部と深溝とが連通しない領域を広く確保できるので、動圧発生機構で動圧を効率よく発生させることができる。
これによれば、遠心力により深溝内のコンタミを外径側に排出することができる。
これによれば、摺動部品の相対回転時に、特定動圧発生機構により摺動面間を離間させて摺動面間に適当な液膜を生成しつつ、動圧発生機構によって被密封液体の漏れ側への漏れを低減できる。

Claims (6)
- 回転機械の相対回転する箇所に配置される環状を成す一対の摺動部品であって、
一方の摺動部品の摺動面には、漏れ側に連通する少なくとも浅溝部を有する動圧発生機構が複数設けられており、他方の摺動部品の摺動面には、前記動圧発生機構よりも深い寸法を有する深溝が漏れ側に連通して設けられており、相対回転時に前記深溝は前記動圧発生機構の浅溝部に重なり、
前記浅溝部の数は、前記深溝の数よりも多く、
前記深溝の開口面の面積は、前記浅溝部それぞれの開口面の面積よりも大きい摺動部品。 - 前記動圧発生機構の浅溝部と前記深溝とが同一方向を向くように延設されている請求項1に記載の摺動部品。
- 前記深溝において少なくとも前記動圧発生機構の浅溝部の終端側に重なる部分の開口幅が該浅溝部の開口幅よりも長く形成されている請求項1または2に記載の摺動部品。
- 前記深溝の開口面の総面積は前記浅溝部の開口面の総面積よりも小さい請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の摺動部品。
- 前記摺動部品は回転するものであって、外径側に連通する前記深溝が形成されている請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載の摺動部品。
- いずれか一方の摺動部品の摺動面には、前記動圧発生機構よりも被密封流体側に配置され前記動圧発生機構とは独立する特定動圧発生機構が設けられている請求項1ないし5のいずれかに記載の摺動部品。
