Abstract
Description
まず、本発明の樹脂組成物の基礎樹脂であるポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂(A)とは、テレフタル酸と、炭素数4のアルキレングリコール(1,4−ブタンジオール)又はそのエステル形成誘導体を含むグリコール成分とを重縮合して得られるポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂である。
本発明で用いられる無機充填剤(B)としては、公知のガラス繊維が何れも好ましく用いられる。そして、ガラス繊維のガラス繊維径や、円筒、繭形、長円断面等の形状、あるいはチョップドストランドやロービング等の製造に用いる際の長さやガラスカットの方法は特に限定されない。本発明では、ガラスの種類も限定されないが、品質上、Eガラスや、組成中にジルコニウム元素を有する耐腐食ガラスが好ましく用いられる。
超音波溶着や振動溶着工法等が適用される用途では、コネクター等の金属端子や各種センサー部品等が成形品と一体化される場合がある。特に自動車に搭載される部品用途においては、高温・高湿環境や冷熱サイクル環境での高度な耐久性が求められることが多いため、冷熱サイクル寿命改善のためエラストマーを添加してもよい。
本発明の溶着体は、本発明のポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂組成物から構成される成形品同士を溶着してなる。
また、使用した成分の詳細、物性評価の測定法は以下の通りである。
(A)ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂(PBT樹脂)
(A−1)PBT樹脂:ウィンテックポリマー(株)製 重量平均分子量 75000、結晶化温度192℃
(A−2)PBT樹脂:ウィンテックポリマー(株)製 重量平均分子量 66500、結晶化温度193℃
(A−3)PBT樹脂:ウィンテックポリマー(株)製 重量平均分子量 58000、結晶化温度195℃
(A−4)PBT樹脂:ウィンテックポリマー(株)製 重量平均分子量 100000、結晶化温度190℃
(A’)変性PBT樹脂
(A’−1)変性PBT樹脂:ウィンテックポリマー(株)製 重量平均分子量 58000、イソフタル酸30mol%変性
(B)ガラス繊維
(B−1)ガラス繊維:日本電気硝子(株)製T127
(C)エラストマー
(C−1)グリシジルメタアクリレート変性アクリル系コアシェルポリマー:(株)ロームアンドハース製EXL2314

表1に示す各成分を秤量後ドライブレンドし、(株)日本製鋼所製30mm2軸押出機TEX−30を用いて溶融混練しペレットを作製した(作製条件:シリンダー温度260℃、吐出量15kg/h、スクリュー回転数130rpm)。次いで、このペレットから各試験片を作成し、各種物性を測定した。結果をあわせて表1に示す。
上記にて作製したポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂組成物のペレットを用いて、東ソー HLC−8120GPC製サイズ排除クロマトグラフにより測定を行った。カラムにPolymer Laboratories PLgel 5μm MiniMIX−Cを用い、溶離液としてCHCl3、流速0.5ml/min、検出器UV/254nm、温度40℃で測定し、Polymer Laboratories社製標準試料Polystyrene Standards(Mw:377400〜580)から、重量平均分子量を換算した。
ペレットを140℃×3hの条件で乾燥後、東洋精機(株)製キャピログラフにて、オリフィス径=1.0mm、バレル径=9.55mm、シリンダー温度=260℃、剪断速度=1000sec−1の条件で溶融粘度(kPa・sec)を測定した。
ペレットを140℃で3時間乾燥後、厚み2mmの棒状試験片を成形し、その流動長(mm)により判断した。射出条件は、シリンダー温度260℃、金型温度65℃、射出速度4m/minで、保圧力3水準準(50Mpa、75MPa、100MPa)にて評価した。
ファナック社製 ROBOSHOT α100iAを用いて、シリンダー温度=260℃、射出速度=1m/min、保圧=60MPa、金型温度=80℃、射出時間=25秒、冷却時間=10秒の条件で、図1に示す断面形状の2部材からなる試験片を成形した。図1は振動溶着される2つの成形品の断面を模式的に示す図であり、(a)は全体を表す図であり、(b)は(a)中の点線で囲われた部分Aの拡大図である。
上記の振動溶着強度測定用試験片を、1サイクルを、「−40℃で30分、120℃で30分」として、3000サイクルにわたって処理した後に溶着強度を測定し、処理前の溶着強度に対する保持率を求めた。
ファナック社製 ROBOSHOT S2000i100Bを用いて、シリンダー温度=260℃、射出速度=1m/min、保圧=60MPa、金型温度=80℃で、ISO3167に準じた引張試験片を製造し、ISO527に準じて引張強度を測定した。
住友重機械工業社製SE100Dを用いて、シリンダー温度=260℃、射出速度=1m/min、保圧=70MPa、金型温度=80℃、射出時間=10秒、冷却時間=10秒の条件で、図2に示す断面形状の2部材からなる試験片を成形した。図2は超音波溶着される2つの成形品の断面を模式的に示す図であり、(a)は全体を表す図であり、(b)は(a)中の点線で囲われた部分Cの拡大図である。
Claims (4)
- 重量平均分子量が60000以上、80000以下であるポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂(A)と無機充填材(B)から構成されるポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂組成物。
- エラストマー(C)を、ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂(A)100質量部に対し、5〜20質量部含む請求項1に記載のポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂組成物。
- 請求項1又は2に記載のポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂組成物から構成される成形品同士を溶着してなる溶着体。
- 前記成形品同士を当接して、当接面に摩擦熱を発生させて溶着してなる請求項3に記載の溶着体。
