  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 操舵系の操舵情報を検出する操舵情報検出手段
    と、操舵角が操舵中立状態であることを検出する
    操舵中立状態検出手段と、前記操舵情報検出手段
    により検出された操舵情報信号と前記操舵中立状
    態検出手段により検出された操舵中立状態信号と
    に基づいて操舵角を演算する操舵角演算手段と、 該操舵角演算手段により演算された操舵角に基
    づいて車両特性を制御する制御手段とを備えた車
    両特性制御装置において、 前記操舵中立状態検出手段が異常であることを
    検出する異常状態検出手段と、該異常状態検出手
    段により前記操舵中立状態検出手段が異常である
    ことが検出されたときにフエールセーフ機能を実
    行するフエールセーフ機能実用手段とを備えたこ
    とを特徴とする車両特性制御装置。
