Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案は、センターピラーを有していない自動車、いわ
ゆるハードトップ車の後部車体の補強構造に関するもの
である。
一般のセンターピラーを有する自動車においては、車体
に開閉自在に枢着されたドアはセンターピラーにて閉止
保持されるが、ハードトップ車ではこのようなセンター
ピラーを有していないので、リャピラーより前方に延び
る後部車体にドアを閉止保持するよう受止部が形威され
る関係上、この部分に十分強度を持たせる必要がある。
従来、上記のようなハードトップ車の後部車体の補強構
造としては、後部車体の内板の受止部からりャピラーま
での間に補強板を前後方向に固定していた。
しかるに、この補強構造では、補強板の後端は単にリャ
ピラ一部に１点支持されるに過ぎず強度上十分なもので
はないので、上記補強板を大型化しなければならないと
いう不具合を有している。
本考案はかかる点に鑑み、補強板の後端を所定間隔隔て
た２点で支持するようにして前記従来の欠点を解消した
ハードトップ車の後部車体補強構造を提供することを目
的とするものである。
以下、本考案の実施例を図面に沿って説明する。
第１図に示すハードトップ車１の後部車体において、２
は車体に開閉自在に枢着された乗降用のドア、３は該ド
ア２の後端をストライカ等の設置により閉止保持する受
止部、４は該受止部３より後方に上方に向って形或され
たりャピラ一部であり、５はルーフ、６はリャウインド
、７は後輪、２０はクオーターウインドである。
上記ハードトップ車１の後部車体補強構造を第２図ない
し第４図に示す。
尚、図面では車体の左側部分のみ示しているが、右側部
分も同一構造に構威されている。
８は車体側面を形戒する外板であって、該外板８の前端
には内方に折曲されたドア受止部３が、該受止部３の後
方上部にはりャピラ一部４の外側面を形或するリャピラ
ーアウタ４ａが一体に連設されている。
９は上記外板８の内方に平行に接合され内側面を形或す
る内板であって、該内板９の下部には後輪７の外周を囲
繞するように外方に湾面突出したタイヤハウス１０が設
けられている。
又、１１は車室内のフロアを形戊する床板、１２は車室
内後部に設置される車体幅方向の水平板状の後部荷物棚
板である。
一方、１３は上記内板９の外方面の上縁に沿って接合さ
れる第１補強板であって、該第１補強板１３は樋状に形
威されて内板９との接合により閉断面を構威し、前記受
止部３すなわち内板９前端より後方にタイヤハウス１０
の上方に延びる内板９の補強部分を形戊するとともに、
該第１補強板１３の後方上部にはりャピラ一部４の内側
面を形戊するノヤピラーインナ４ｂが一体に連設されて
いる。
又、１４はタイヤハウス１０がらリャピラ一部４を上方
へ延び、タイヤハウス１０の上面、内板９の外方面、第
１補強板１３の表面およびリャピラーインナ４ｂの外方
面にそれぞれ接合される第２補強板であって、該第２補
強板１４はチャンネル状に形戒されて上記タイヤハウス
１０、内板９、第１補強板１３およびリャピラーインナ
４ｂとの接合により閉断面を構威し、タイヤハウス１０
がらルーフ５に上下に延びるリャピラ一部４の補強部分
を形或する。
尚、上記第２補強板１４と交差する前記第１補強板１３
は、該第２補強板１４を貫通してリャピラ一部４より後
方に所定量延長した延長端１３ ａを有するように設け
られている。
更に、１５は後部荷物棚板１２の下面に車体幅方向に沿
って接合される第３補強板であって、該第３補強板１５
は後部荷物棚板１２との接合により閉断面を形威し、車
体幅方向に延びて両側の内板９，９を連結する補強部分
を形威し、車体幅方向に配置される補強部材１６を構或
する。
又、上記第３補強板１５すなわち車体幅方向に配置され
る補強部材１６の両端には、それぞれ前記第１補強板１
３の延長端１３ａが連結接合されるものである。
上記実施例では、第１補強板１３とリャピラーインナ４
ｂとが一体に構威されているが、これを分離してそれぞ
れ別体に設けてもよく、また、上記リャピラーインナ４
ｂを内板９と一体に形或してもよい。
又、上記実施例では、第１補強板１３の延長端１３ａを
横方向に補強する補強部材１６として第３補強板１５お
よび後部荷物棚板１２を利用して構戊しているが、これ
を車体幅方向に設置した中空状のパイプ等によって構或
するようにしてもよい。
従って、以上のような本考案補強構造によれば、後部車
体の内板を補強する第１補強板をリャピラ一部を補強す
る第２補強板と交差させて後方に延長し、その延長端を
車体幅方向の補強部材に接合するように設けたために、
第１補強板の後端は上記第２補強板と補強部材とにより
所定間隔隔てた２点支持となり、ハードトップ車の弱点
であるドア受止部の強度を補強部材を大型化することな
く向上することができる。
又、前記実施例のように、第１補強板の延長端を車体幅
方向に補強する補強部材として後部荷物棚板部分の第３
補強板を利用すれば、別個に補強板を新設する必要がな
く、また、後部車体のねじり剛性をも向上できる効果を
有する。
又、本考案によれば、後部座席の周囲が閉断面状の補強
部分で囲むような構造となるため、後部衝突時に乗員の
安全性確保の点で有利となるなど実用上種々の優れた利
点を有している。

Claims (2)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. （１）ハードトップ車の車体に開閉自在に枢着されたド
    アを閉止保持する受止部と、この受止部より後方にリャ
    ピラ一部とを形或しクオーターウインドを有する後部車
    体において、上記後部車体の左右の内板にそれぞれ接合
    され上記受止部より後方に延びる閉断面状の補強部分を
    形或する左右一対の第ｌ補強板と、上記リャピラ一部の
    左右の内板に接合されたタイヤハウスからルーフに上下
    に延びる閉断面状の補強部分を形或する左右一対の第２
    補強板とを設ける一方、上記第１補強板を第２補強板と
    交差させリャピラ一部より後方に所定量延長し、かつ、
    左右の第１補強板の両延長端を、車体幅方向に配置され
    る閉断面状の補強部材に接合してなることを特徴とする
    ハードトップ車の後部車体補強構造。
  2. （２）車体幅方向に配置される補強部材は、後部荷物棚
    板の下面に接合され車体幅方向に延びる閉断面状の補強
    部分を形或する第３補強板であることを特徴とする実用
    新案登録請求の範囲第（１）項記載のハードトップ車の
    後部車体補強構造。
