Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 本発明は自動車等の車両に用いられる分割型シートバッ
クに関する。
従来、一般の自動車用シートバックには、後頭部を支持
するヘッドレス１−と背もたれとに分割し、該ヘッドレ
ストが背もたれに対し上下方向にスライド可能に移動す
るように構成されたものがあるが、通常、人間の頭部と
肩甲骨部との間の長さは座高の高低にかかわりなく一定
の寸法であるため、座高の高い着席者が自分の頭部の高
さに合わせてヘッドレストを上げると肩甲骨部がヘッド
レストと背もたれとの間に位置し、肩甲骨部と支持が受
けられず着席者は不安定であった。
また、座高の低い着席者はヘッドレストを下げても後頭
部の支持を得ることができない上に、肩甲骨部が背もた
れの中程に埋まってしまい。
十分な支持が得られなかった。
すなわち、従来のヘッドレストと背もたれとに分割され
たシートバックでは、座高の高い着席者や低い着席者は
安定感を得るために必要な肩甲骨部の十分な支持が受け
られないという不具合があった。
そこで、本考案は、かかる点に鑑み、上部体を下部体に
対し上下方向にスライド可能かつ前後に傾斜可能に取り
付け、前記上部体は少なくとも肩甲骨部を、前記下部体
は腰椎部をそれぞれ支持することにより、着席者の座高
の高低にかかわりなく、上体、特に肩甲骨部を適切に支
持する車両用分割型シートバックを提供することを目的
とするものである。
以下、本考案の構成を実施例について図面に基づいて説
明する。
１は車両用座席シートで、シートバック２とシートクッ
ション３とがリクライニング装置４により連結されてな
る。
該シートバック２は、上部体５と下部体６とに分割され
てなり、該上部体５は下部体６に対し上下方向にスライ
ド可能かつ前後に傾斜可能に取り付けられている。
７は下部体６上部から上方に突設されたロッドで、規制
的に係止溝８が配設されてなる。
該係止溝８は係止面９と傾斜面１０とからなり、上部体
５との係合部をなすものである。
１１は上部体５内部に設けられ、前記ロッド７が挿通さ
れるガイド筒で、その下端部に前記係止溝８と係合する
係止部としての係止爪１２が突設されている。
１３はガイド筒１１内の凹部１４に設けられたスプリン
グで゛、その先端部に固着された当接部材１５を介して
ロッド７を常時後方向（係止溝８と係止爪１２とが係合
する方向）に付勢している。
なお、１６．１７はそれぞれ上部体の頭部支持部及び肩
甲骨部支持部である。
また、上部体５を頭部を支持するヘッドレストと肩甲骨
部を支持する中間部体とに分割し、ヘッドレストを中間
部体に対しスライド可能なるように構成することもでき
る。
次に、支持の状態を説明すると、第４図に示すように、
一般に着席者１８の座高が異なってもその頭部と肩甲骨
部との間の長さはほぼ一定であるため、着席者１８の座
高に応じて上部体５を下部体６に対して適当な位置にス
ライドせしめれば、上部体５で頭部及び肩甲骨部を、下
部体６で腰椎部が安定して支持できる。
前記上部体５を上方にスライドさせるには、単に上部体
５を引き上げることにより行うことができる。
けだし、上部体５を引き上げれば、係止爪１２が係止溝
８の傾斜面１０に沿って上方にスライドするからである
。
所定位置に上部体５が達すると、スプリング１３にてロ
ッド７が後方に付勢され、係止溝８と係止爪１２とが係
合して移動不能に保持される。
また、下方に上部体５をスライドさせるには、第３図に
示すように、上部体５を前方向へ傾斜せしめて係止爪１
２と係止溝８との係合を解除し、その状態で下方に押し
下げることによりできる。
また、一般に、リクライニングシートでは、後方へシー
トバックを傾斜せしめると、頭部が上方に向き、前方が
見えないという欠点があるが、第２図に示す如く、Ａ位
置を中心に上部体５の下部体６に対する傾斜角度θを調
節可能なるように、ロッド７の基端部に回転軸１９を固
定し、該回転軸１９を回転させる操作部材２０を下部体
１６の側面に設ければ、リクライニング時、前記操作部
材２０を手で廻すことにより、上部体５を回転軸１９を
中心に前後に揺動させ、上体の支持を一層安楽にするこ
とができる。
以上のように、本考案は、着席者の腰椎部を支持する下
部体と、少なくとも着席者の肩甲骨部を支持し、かつ、
前記下部体に対し上下方向にスライド可能かつ前後に傾
斜可能な上部体とにより構成したため、着席者の座高の
高低にかがわりなく、上体、主として肩甲骨部に適切な
支持が与えられ、リクライニング時や前傾姿勢時におい
ても乗員（着座者）の上体の支持を極めて良好に安定化
できるという優れた効果を有する。

Claims (2)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. （１）車両用シートのシートバックが、着席者の肩甲骨
    部を支持する上部体と腰椎部を支持する下部体とに分割
    され、下部体上部には、下端で下部体に対し前後方向に
    回動可能に支持されかつ係止面と傾斜面とが形成された
    係合部を有するロッドと、このロッドの前後方向の傾斜
    角を調整する回動操作部材とがそれぞれ設けられ、上部
    体内部には、上記ロッドの保合部に係脱自在な係止部を
    形成したガイド筒が上下方向に配設されていることを特
    徴とする車両用分割型シートバック。
  2. （２）上部体が頭部も支持する実用新案登録請求の範囲
    第１項記載の車両用分割型シートバック。
