Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.表面のイオン交換によって強化されており、そのマトリックスが下記の成 分を下記の重量割合で含み、 SiO2 45〜65% Al2O3 0〜20% B2O3 0〜 5% Na2O 4〜12% K2O 3.5〜12% MgO 0〜 8% CaO 0〜13% ZrO2 0〜20% 酸化物SiO2、Al2O3及びZrO2の合計が70%に等しいか又はそれ未満にとどまり、 この組成物は任意に酸化物BaO及び/又はSrOを11%≦MgO+CaO+BaO+SrO≦24% の割合で含み、そしてアルカリ酸化物が0.22≦Na2O/Na2O+K2O≦0.60の重量比 率で含まれる、データ記憶装置における支持体として使用するためのガラス基材 。 2.前記マトリックスが下記の成分を下記の重量割合で含み、 SiO2 45〜65% Al2O3 0〜20% B2O3 0〜 5% Na2O 4〜12% K2O 4〜12% MgO 0〜 8% CaO 0〜 8% ZrO2 0〜 6% 酸化物SiO2、Al2O3及びZrO2の合計が70%に等しいか又はそれ未満 にとどまり、この組成物は任意に酸化物BaO及び/又はSrOを11%≦MgO+CaO+Ba O+SrO≦24%の割合で含み、そしてアルカリ酸化物が0.22≦Na2O/Na2O+K2O≦0 .60の重量比率で含まれていることを特徴とする、請求の範囲第1項記載のガラ ス基材。 3.前記Al2O3の重量含有量が10%に等しいか又はそれより多いことを特徴と する、請求の範囲第1項又は第2項記載の基材。 4.前記ZrO2の重量含有量が5%未満であることを特徴とする、請求の範囲第 1〜3項のいずれか1項に記載の基材。 5.前記CaOの重量含有量が3%未満であることを特徴とする、請求の範囲第 1〜4項のいずれか1項に記載の基材。 6.前記B2O3の重量含有量が3%未満であることを特徴とする、請求の範囲第 1〜5項のいずれか1項に記載の基材。 7.前記組成物が下記の成分を下記の重量割合で含み、 SiO2 45〜60% Al2O3 10〜20% B2O3 0〜 3% Na2O 4〜12% K2O 4〜12% MgO 0〜 8% CaO 0〜 8% ZrO2 0〜 5% 酸化物SiO2、Al2O3及びZrO3の合計が70%に等しいか又はそれ未満にとどまり、 この組成物は任意に酸化物BaO及び/又はSrOを14%≦CaO+MgO+BaO+SrO≦22% の割合で含み、そしてアルカリ酸化物が0.22≦Na2O/Na2O+K2O≦0.60の重量比 率で含まれていることを特徴とする、請求の範囲第1〜6項のいずれか1項に記 載の基材。 8.前記マトリックスが下記の成分を下記の重量割合で含むことを特徴とする 、請求の範囲第1〜7項のいずれか1項に記載の基材。 SiO2 53.6% Al2O3 10.0% B2O3 2.2% Na2O 5.2% K2O 6.2% MgO 4.2% CaO 6.8% SrO 7.0% BaO 2.8% ZrO2 2.0% 9.前記マトリックスが下記の成分を下記の重量割合で含み、 SiO2 45〜63% ZrO2 6.5〜20% Al2O3 0〜18% Na2O 4〜12% K2O 3.5〜 7% CaO 1〜13% MgO 1〜 8% 酸化物SiO2、Al2O3及びZrO2の合計が70%に等しいか又はそれ未満にとどまり、 この組成物は任意に酸化物BaO及び/又はSrOを11%≦MgO+CaO+BaO+SrO≦24% の割合で含み、そしてアルカリ酸化物が0.22≦Na2O/Na2O+K2O≦0.60の重量比 率で含まれていることを特徴とする、請求の範囲第1項記載の基材。 10.前記イオン交換が化学的強化によって行われることを特徴とする、請求の 範囲第1〜9項のいずれか1項に記載の基材。 11.前記化学的強化が温度400〜520℃のKNO3浴において24時間未満行われるこ とを特徴とする、請求の範囲第10項記載の基材。 12.前記化学的強化を電界又は超音波のような外部要素によって促進すること ができることを特徴とする、請求の範囲第10項又は第11項記載の基材。 13.フロート法に従い、次いで切断、孔あけ及び加工によって得られることを 特徴とする、請求の範囲第1〜12項のいずれか1項に記載の基材。 14.パリソンのプレス、その後の孔あけ及び加工によって得られることを特徴 とする、請求の範囲第1〜12項のいずれか1項に記載の基材。 15.粗さが30Å未満のRaに相当するように研磨されることを特徴とする、請 求の範囲第1〜14項のいずれか1項に記載の基材。 16.10Å未満のRaの粗さをもたらす仕上研磨を受けることを特徴とする、請 求の範囲第15項記載の基材。 17.ハード磁気ディスクにおける支持体としての、請求の範囲第1〜16項のい ずれか1項に記載の基材の使用。
