Description
一連のポリエステルコポリマーを、以下の手順を使用して生成した。
室温において、高温油温度制御、オーバーヘッド分離カラム、及び真空ポンプを備えたステンレス鋼の10ガロン反応器に、以下の成分を加えた。
ジメチル-2,6-ナフタレンジカルボキシレート(NDC)

エチレングリコール(EG)
(Huntsman Petrochemical(The Woodlands,TX)から入手)
シクロヘキサンジメタノール(CHDM)
(Eastman Chemical(Kingsport,TN)から入手)
テトラブチルチタネート(TBT)
(Dorf Ketal(Houston,TX)から入手)
酢酸コバルト(CoAc)
(Shepherd Chemical(Cincinnati,OH)から入手)
酢酸亜鉛(ZnAc)
(Mallinckrodt Baker(Phillipsburg,NJ)から入手)
三酢酸アンチモン(SbAc)
(Arkema(Philadelphia,PA)から入手)
共押出、延伸共配向、及びアニーリングによって一連の3層フィルムを作製した。投入材料として使用した樹脂は、以下のとおりであった。
PENは、0.48 IVポリエチレンナフタレート樹脂を指す。
(ポリエステル製造の当業者に既知の方法によって工場内で製造)
PETgは、0.73 IVコポリエステルを指す。

PENg30、PENg40、PENg50、及びPENg60

Claims (11)
- 自己支持型3層積層体を含む基板であって、前記3層積層体は、第1及び第2の外層と、前記第1の外層と第2の外層との間に配置されており、前記第1及び第2の外層と直接接触している2軸配向層と、を含み、前記2軸配向層は、45モルパーセントを超えるナフタレート単位と45モルパーセントを超えるエチレン単位とを有する第1のポリエステルを含み、前記第1及び第2の外層の各々は、40~50モルパーセントのナフタレート単位と、少なくとも25モルパーセントのエチレン単位と、10~25モルパーセントの分枝状又は環状C4~C10アルキル単位を含む第2のポリエステルと、を含み、前記第2のポリエステルについては、ナフタレート単位のモルパーセントと、エチレン単位のモルパーセントと、分枝状又は環状C4~C10アルキル単位のモルパーセントとを加えると100モルパーセントになり、前記第1のポリエステルについては、ナフタレート単位のモルパーセントとエチレン単位のモルパーセントを加えると100モルパーセントになる、基板。
- 前記2軸配向層が、少なくとも4.5GPaのヤング率を有する、請求項1に記載の基板。
- 前記2軸配向層が、少なくとも0.18の面外複屈折率を有する、請求項1に記載の基板。
- 前記2軸配向層の厚さが、前記3層積層体の厚さの少なくとも80パーセントである、請求項1に記載の基板。
- 前記第2のポリエステルが示差走査熱量測定によって検出可能な融点を有さない、請求項1に記載の基板。
- 前記第2のポリエステルが、10J/g未満の融解エンタルピーを有する、請求項1に記載の基板。
- 前記第1及び第2の外層の各々が、0.02未満の面内複屈折率及び0.02未満の面外複屈折率を有する、請求項1に記載の基板。
- 2パーセント未満のヘイズを有する、請求項1に記載の基板。
- 請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載の基板上に配置された発光層を含むディスプレイ。
- 目に見える損傷が生じることなく20cmの曲率半径まで屈曲可能である、請求項9に記載のディスプレイ。
- 請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載の基板と、前記基板上に配置された複数の電極と、を備える、タッチセンサ。
