Claims (8)
- ダクトと、
前記ダクトの内部に、所定の送風方向に空気を流す送風機構と、
前記ダクトの内部に配置され、当該内部の空気に含まれる微粒子をイオン化するイオン化装置と、
前記ダクトの前記内部における、前記イオン化装置に対する前記送風方向の下流側に、当該送風方向に沿って各々が延在して互いに対向するように配置される少なくとも2つの電極と、
少なくとも2つの前記電極について、相互間に電位差が生じるように少なくとも1つを帯電させる電源部と、
前記送風機構に送風を所定時間に亘って行わせた後で前記送風機構に送風を停止させるとともに前記イオン化装置に送風停止下でのイオン化を行わせる処理、及び、前記イオン化装置に前記送風停止下でのイオン化を所定時間に亘って行わせた後で前記送風機構に送風を再開させるとともに前記電源部から電圧を印加させる処理、を含む一連の処理を繰り返し実行する制御部と、
を備えたことを特徴とした微粒子捕集装置。 - 少なくとも2つの前記電極のうち、少なくとも1つが接地されていることを特徴とした請求項1に記載の微粒子捕集装置。
- 前記電極が2つのみ設けられており、一方が接地されていることを特徴とした請求項2に記載の微粒子捕集装置。
- 少なくとも一部壁面が導電性材料で形成されたダクトと、
前記ダクトの内部に、所定の送風方向に空気を流す送風機構と、
前記ダクトの内部における、前記一部壁面に対する前記送風方向の上流側に配置され、前記内部の空気に含まれる微粒子をイオン化するイオン化装置と、
前記ダクトの前記内部に、前記送風方向に沿って延在して前記一部壁面と対向するように配置される電極と、
前記一部壁面と前記電極との間に電位差が生じるように、少なくとも一方の部位を帯電させる電源部と、
前記送風機構に送風を所定時間に亘って行わせた後で前記送風機構に送風を停止させるとともに前記イオン化装置に送風停止下でのイオン化を行わせる処理、及び、前記イオン化装置に前記送風停止下でのイオン化を所定時間に亘って行わせた後で前記送風機構に送風を再開させるとともに前記電源部から電圧を印加させる処理、を含む一連の処理を繰り返し実行する制御部と、
を備えたことを特徴とした微粒子捕集装置。 - 前記ダクトにおける前記一部壁面が接地されており、
前記電源部が、前記電極のみを帯電させることを特徴とした請求項4に記載の微粒子捕集装置。 - 前記電極が、平板形状の部材であることを特徴とした請求項1~5のうち何れか一項に記載の微粒子捕集装置。
- 前記電極が、メッシュ状の部材であることを特徴とした請求項1~5のうち何れか一項に記載の微粒子捕集装置。
- 筐体と、
前記筐体の内部に配置されて所定の記録媒体に画像を形成する画像形成部と、
前記筐体の前記内部に配置されて、当該内部の空気に含まれる微粒子を捕集しつつ当該空気を前記筐体の外部へと排出する請求項1~7のうち何れか一項に記載の微粒子捕集装置と、
を備えた画像形成装置。
