Description
Claims (6)
- ウォッチドッグタイマを診断するための装置であって、
イネーブル端子、電源入力端子及び電源出力端子を含み、前記電源入力端子に印加される入力電圧を用いて、前記電源出力端子から前記ウォッチドッグタイマのための駆動電圧を出力するように構成された駆動電圧出力部と、
第1通信端子、前記イネーブル端子に電気的に連結されたホールド端子、トリガー端子及びリセット端子を含む制御部とを含み、
前記制御部は、
前記制御部のシャットダウンを指示する第1制御信号が前記第1通信端子に印加される場合、前記ホールド端子からホールド信号を出力し、前記トリガー端子から、前記ウォッチドッグタイマが前記リセット端子にリセット信号を出力するように誘導する信号である非有効トリガー信号を出力し、
前記駆動電圧出力部は、
前記イネーブル端子に前記ホールド信号が出力されることにより前記ウォッチドッグタイマに前記駆動電圧を出力して、前記イネーブル端子上に前記ホールド信号が出力される間に、前記電源出力端子に接続された前記ウォッチドッグタイマと前記制御部とに前記駆動電圧を出力するように構成され、
前記制御部は、
前記トリガー端子から前記非有効トリガー信号が出力された時点から予め決められた臨界時間内に前記リセット端子に前記リセット信号が印加されない場合、前記ウォッチドッグタイマが誤動作していることを示す診断データをメモリに保存するように構成され、
前記制御部は、
第2通信端子をさらに含み、
前記制御部のウェイクアップを指示する第2制御信号が前記第1通信端子に印加される場合、前記診断データに対応する診断信号を前記第2通信端子に出力するように構成され、
前記第2制御信号は、前記第1通信端子及び前記イネーブル端子に共通して印加され、
前記駆動電圧出力部は、
前記第2制御信号に応答して前記電源出力端子に駆動電圧を出力するように構成され、
前記ウォッチドッグタイマは、ウィンドウウォッチドッグタイマであり、
前記非有効トリガー信号は、隣接した第1トリガーパルス及び第2トリガーパルスを含み、
前記第1トリガーパルスと前記第2トリガーパルスとの時間間隔は、前記ウィンドウウォッチドッグタイマのために予め決められた最小時間間隔より短く、
前記ウォッチドッグタイマは、前記第1トリガーパルスと前記第2トリガーパルスとの時間間隔が前記予め決められた最小時間間隔より短いと検出すると前記リセット端子に前記リセット信号を出力する
ウォッチドッグタイマ診断装置。 - 前記制御部は、
前記診断データを前記メモリに保存した後、前記第1制御信号に従ってシャットダウンモードに進入するため、前記ホールド信号の出力を中断するように構成され、
前記駆動電圧出力部は、
前記イネーブル端子への前記ホールド信号の出力が中断されたことに応じて、前記電源出力端子からの前記駆動電圧の出力を中断するように構成される、請求項1に記載のウォッチドッグタイマ診断装置。 - 外部デバイスと前記第1通信端子との間に設けられ、前記外部デバイスからのシャットダウン命令を前記第1制御信号に変換するオプトカプラをさらに含む、請求項1または2に記載のウォッチドッグタイマ診断装置。
- 請求項1~請求項3のうちいずれか一項に記載の前記ウォッチドッグタイマ診断装置を含む、バッテリー管理システム。
- 請求項4に記載の前記バッテリー管理システムを含む、バッテリーパック。
- イネーブル端子、電源入力端子及び電源出力端子を含み、前記電源入力端子に印加される入力電圧を用いて、前記電源出力端子からウォッチドッグタイマのための駆動電圧を出力するように構成された駆動電圧出力部と、第1通信端子、第2通信端子、前記イネーブル端子に電気的に連結されたホールド端子、トリガー端子及びリセット端子を含む制御部とを含む診断装置を用いて前記ウォッチドッグタイマを診断するための方法であって、
前記制御部が、前記制御部のシャットダウンを指示する第1制御信号が前記第1通信端子に印加される場合、前記ホールド端子からホールド信号を出力する段階と、
前記駆動電圧出力部が、前記イネーブル端子に前記ホールド信号が出力されることにより前記ウォッチドッグタイマに前記駆動電圧を出力して、前記イネーブル端子に前記ホールド信号が印加される間に、前記電源出力端子に接続された前記ウォッチドッグタイマと前記制御部とに前記駆動電圧を出力する段階と、
前記制御部が、前記ホールド端子から前記ホールド信号が出力される間に、前記トリガー端子から、前記ウォッチドッグタイマが前記リセット端子にリセット信号を出力するように誘導する信号である非有効トリガー信号を出力する段階と、
前記制御部が、前記トリガー端子から前記非有効トリガー信号が出力された時点から予め決められた臨界時間内に前記リセット端子に前記リセット信号が印加されない場合、前記ウォッチドッグタイマが誤動作していることを示す診断データをメモリに保存する段階と、
前記制御部が、前記制御部のウェイクアップを指示し且つ前記第1通信端子及び前記イネーブル端子に共通して印加される第2制御信号が前記第1通信端子に印加される場合、前記診断データに対応する診断信号を前記第2通信端子に出力する段階と、
前記駆動電圧出力部が、前記第2制御信号に応答して前記電源出力端子に駆動電圧を出力する段階とを含み、
前記ウォッチドッグタイマは、ウィンドウウォッチドッグタイマであり、
前記非有効トリガー信号は、隣接した第1トリガーパルス及び第2トリガーパルスを含み、
前記第1トリガーパルスと前記第2トリガーパルスとの時間間隔は、前記ウィンドウウォッチドッグタイマのために予め決められた最小時間間隔より短く、
前記ウォッチドッグタイマは、前記第1トリガーパルスと前記第2トリガーパルスとの時間間隔が前記予め決められた最小時間間隔より短いと検出すると前記リセット端子に前記リセット信号を出力する
