Description
本実施の形態では、本発明の一態様の蓄電装置について図1乃至図13を用いて説明する。
次に、本発明の一態様の蓄電装置の具体的な構成について説明する。
次に、本発明の一態様の蓄電装置である蓄電装置500の作製方法の一例を、図10乃至図13を用いて説明する。
以下では、本発明の一態様の蓄電装置の構成要素について、詳述する。なお、本実施の形態にて示す各部材の材料から、可撓性を有する材料を選択して用いると、可撓性を有する蓄電装置を作製することができる。
電解質は、溶質および溶媒を含む。
集電体は、蓄電装置内で顕著な化学変化を引き起こさずに高い導電性を示す限り、特別な制限はない。正極集電体及び負極集電体には、例えば、ステンレス、金、白金、亜鉛、鉄、ニッケル、銅、アルミニウム、チタン、タンタル、マンガン等の金属、これらの合金、又は焼結した炭素などをそれぞれ用いることができる。または、銅もしくはステンレス鋼を炭素、ニッケルもしくはチタン等で被覆して用いてもよい。または、シリコン、チタン、ネオジム、スカンジウム、モリブデンなどの耐熱性を向上させる元素が添加されたアルミニウム合金を用いることができる。または、シリコンと反応してシリサイドを形成する金属元素で集電体を形成してもよい。シリコンと反応してシリサイドを形成する金属元素としては、ジルコニウム、チタン、ハフニウム、バナジウム、ニオブ、タンタル、クロム、モリブデン、タングステン、コバルト、ニッケル等がある。
活物質層は、活物質を含む。活物質とは、キャリアであるイオンの挿入・脱離に関わる物質のみを指し、本明細書等では、活物質が含まれている層を活物質層と呼ぶ。活物質層には活物質に加えて導電助剤および結着剤(バインダー)が含まれていても良い。
本発明の一態様の蓄電装置では、ポリフェニレンサルファイド(PPS)またはセルロース繊維を含むセパレータを用いる。セパレータは、単層構造であっても積層構造であってもよい。例えば、セルロース繊維を含むセパレータと、他のセパレータと、の積層構造であってもよい。
外装体509は、電解質508と接する面、すなわち内側の面が電解質508と顕著な反応を生じないことが好ましい。また、蓄電装置500の外部から蓄電装置500内に水分が混入すると、電解質508の成分等と水との反応が生じる場合がある。よって外装体509は、水分の透過性が低いことが好ましい。
本実施の形態では、本発明の一態様の電子機器について、図14乃至図17を用いて説明する。
図14(A)に、腕時計型の携帯情報端末(スマートウォッチとも呼ぶ)700の斜視図を示す。携帯情報端末700は、筐体701、表示パネル702、留め金703、バンド705A、705B、操作ボタン711、712を有する。
図15(A)は、図14(B)に示すバンド705Aとは異なる構成のバンド735Aの斜視図である。バンド735Aと接続される筐体731は、蓄電装置の電解質の漏れを検出する機能を有する漏液検知回路(図示しない)を備える(図14(A)参照)。なお、漏液検知回路を有する携帯情報端末730の斜視図は、携帯情報端末700と同様である。
以下より、携帯情報端末730における電解質の漏れを検出する方法の一例について説明する。図17(A)に、電解質736が漏出した状態における、携帯情報端末730が有する構成のブロック図を示す。図17(A)において、矢印を含む線は矢印の向きによって有線信号または無線信号の伝達方向を示す。よって、該線で結ばれた各要素は電気的に接続される場合がある。また矢印を含まない線は配線を示し、該線で結ばれた各要素は電気的に接続される。
本実施の形態では、本発明の一態様である、可撓性を有する蓄電装置について、図18乃至図25を用いて説明する。本発明の一態様の蓄電装置は、湾曲した形状であってもよい。また、本発明の一態様の蓄電装置は、可撓性を有し、湾曲した状態と湾曲していない状態の双方の状態において使用できてもよい。
図18(A)に二次電池200の斜視図を示し、図18(B)に二次電池200の上面図を示す。
図22(A)に二次電池250の斜視図を示し、図22(B)に二次電池250の上面図を示す。また、図22(C1)に第1の電極組立体230の断面図を示し、図22(C2)に第2の電極組立体231の断面図を示す。
本実施の形態では、本発明の一態様の蓄電装置の使用例について図26乃至図30を用いて説明する。
本実施例では、図1(A)に示す蓄電装置500を作製した。試料の作製方法について説明する。
次に、本実施例の各試料の25℃における充放電特性を評価した。該測定は、充放電測定機(東洋システム社製)を用いて行った。4.3Vを上限として定電流-定電圧充電を行い、2.5Vを下限として定電流放電を行った。充放電は0.1Cのレートで3サイクル行った後、0.3Cのレートで長期サイクル試験を行った。充放電後に各10分の休止時間を設けた。
本実施例では、図1(A)に示す蓄電装置500を作製した。試料の作製方法について説明する。
次に、本実施例の各試料の45℃における充放電特性を評価した。該測定は、充放電測定機(東洋システム社製)を用いて行った。4.3Vを上限として定電流-定電圧充電を行い、2.5Vを下限として定電圧放電を行った。充放電は0.1Cのレートで行い、充電後に10分の休止時間を設けた。充放電は2サイクル行った。
本実施例では、本発明の一態様である蓄電池を作製し、170℃、15分の加熱処理後に蓄電池から正極を取り出し、正極のアルミニウム表面をXPS測定により組成分析を行った。170℃、15分の加熱処理を行った蓄電池を蓄電池1とし、蓄電池1から取り出した正極を正極1とする。また、比較として、正極を作製した後、蓄電池の組み立てや加熱処理を行わなかった試料(比較正極1)のXPS分析も行った。
次に、比較正極1及び正極1のX線光電子分光法(XPS:X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy)を行った。X線は、アルミニウムの正極活物質を塗工していない面に照射した。XPS測定を行った位置を図51に示す。図51において、矢印はX線の照射方向を示す。
本実施例で用いた試料は、試料1、試料2及び試料3の計3試料である。
次に、熱重量測定-示差熱分析(TG-DTA:Thermogravimetry-Differential Thermal Analysis)を行った。TG-DTA測定には、リガク社製Thermo Mass Photoを用い、ヘリウム気流下(流量:300ml/min)で、昇温速度10℃/min、室温から600℃まで測定を行った。

Claims (5)
- 蓄電装置と、バンドと、表示パネルと、筐体と、を有し、
前記蓄電装置は、正極活物質層および正極集電体を含む正極と、負極活物質層および負極集電体を含む負極と、前記正極および前記負極の間に位置する第1のセパレータと、電解質と、外装体と、正極リードと、負極リードを有し、
前記第1のセパレータは、ポリフェニレンサルファイド又はセルロース繊維を含み、
前記電解質は、プロピレンカーボネート、エチレンカーボネート、ビニレンカーボネート、六フッ化リン酸リチウム及び下記一般式(G1)で表されるリチウム塩を含み、
前記六フッ化リン酸リチウムは、前記電解質に対して重量比で0.01wt%以上1.9wt%以下の濃度であり、
前記正極リードは、前記正極と電気的に接続され、
前記負極リードは、前記負極と電気的に接続され、
前記蓄電装置は、前記バンドの内部に埋め込まれ、
前記正極リードの一部および前記負極リードの一部は、前記バンドから突出し、
前記蓄電装置は、可撓性を有し、
前記蓄電装置は、前記表示パネルと電気的に接続され、
前記表示パネルは、前記筐体に含まれ、
前記バンドは、前記筐体と接続され、
前記バンドは、ゴム材料を含む電子機器。
(一般式(G1)中、R 1 及びR 2 はそれぞれ独立に、フッ素又は直鎖、分岐若しくは環状の炭素数1乃至10のフルオロアルキル基を表す。) - 請求項1において、

前記一般式(G1)で表されるリチウム塩は、リチウムビス(ペンタフルオロエタンスルホニル)アミドである電子機器。 - 請求項1乃至4のいずれか一において、
前記正極集電体が、アルミニウムまたはステンレスを含む電子機器。
