Description
Claims (20)
- 絶縁基板と、
前記絶縁基板の上面上に設けた複数の導電性パッチと、
前記絶縁基板の下側に設けた接地面であって、前記接地面はその中に複数の開口部を有する当該接地面と、
複数の給電ラインであって、それぞれが前記複数の開口部のうち対応する1つの開口部の下側に整列されるように位置決めされた終端を有する当該複数の給電ラインと、
前記接地面の上側に設けた複数の遅延ラインであって、それぞれが前記複数の導電性パッチのうち対応する1つの導電性パッチに結合された一端と、前記複数の開口部のうち対応する1つの開口部の一端を超えて延びる終端とを有し、前記複数の給電ラインのうち1つの給電ラインに対しDCオープン及びRF短絡を形成し、RF信号を、前記開口部を通して前記給電ラインに容量的に結合させる当該複数の遅延ラインと、
を具え、
前記複数の給電ラインと前記複数の遅延ラインとの間に電気的なDC接続が存在しない、アンテナ。 - 請求項1に記載のアンテナであって、前記複数の遅延ラインのそれぞれは、対応する前記導電性パッチの下側に設けられ且つ接点を介して前記導電性パッチに接続されているアンテナ。
- 請求項1に記載のアンテナであって、前記複数の導電性パッチと前記接地面との間に設けた可変誘電率層(VDC層)を更に具えているアンテナ。
- 請求項1に記載のアンテナであって、複数の結合パッチであって、それぞれが前記複数の導電性パッチのうち1つの導電性パッチの隣に設けられ且つ誘電性スペースを跨いで容量的にRF信号を前記導電性パッチに結合し、それぞれが前記複数の遅延ラインのうち1つの遅延ラインへの物理的な導電性接点を形成する接点を有する当該複数の結合パッチを、更に具えているアンテナ。
- 請求項3に記載のアンテナであって、電極と、前記電極に接続されたDCラインとを更に具えているアンテナ。
- 請求項5に記載のアンテナであって、前記開口部は前記給電ラインを伝達するRF信号の波長の約半分の長さLを有しているアンテナ。
- 請求項6に記載のアンテナであって、前記開口部は前記給電ラインを伝達するRF信号の波長の約10分の1の幅Wを有しているアンテナ。
- 請求項7に記載のアンテナであって、前記複数の給電ラインのそれぞれの終端が前記給電ラインを伝達するRF信号の波長の約4分の1の距離Dだけ対応する前記開口部を越えて延在しているアンテナ。
- 請求項7に記載のアンテナであって、前記複数の遅延ラインのそれぞれの終端が前記遅延ラインを伝達するRF信号の約4分の1の波長の距離Eだけ対応する前記開口部を越えて延在しているアンテナ。
- 請求項2に記載のアンテナであって、前記遅延ラインに接続されたDCラインを更に具えているアンテナ。
- 請求項3に記載のアンテナであって、前記可変誘電率層が可変誘電率材料のピクセルを有しているアンテナ。
- 請求項3に記載のアンテナであって、前記可変誘電率層が上部バインダ層と、底部バインダ層と、前記上部バインダ層と前記底部バインダ層との間に挟まれている可変誘電率材料とを有しているアンテナ。
- 請求項3に記載のアンテナであって、前記導電性パッチの上側に設けられた誘電体カバーを更に具えており、前記誘電体カバーの頂部上に設けられた放射パッチが前記導電性パッチと整列されているアンテナ。
- 請求項13に記載のアンテナであって、前記放射パッチが前記導電性パッチよりも大きいアンテナ。
- 絶縁スペーサと、
前記絶縁スペーサ上に設けられた少なくとも1つの放射用構成配置であって、前記少なくとも1つの放射用構成配置の各々が前記絶縁スペーサの上面上に設けられた導電性パッチと、前記絶縁スペーサの底面上に設けられた少なくとも1つの遅延ラインと、導電性材料より成っているとともに前記絶縁スペーサ中に形成された窓を介して前記導電性パッチと前記遅延ラインとの間に電気的なDC接続を達成する対応の接点とを具える当該少なくとも1つの放射用構成配置と、
可変誘電率プレート(VDCプレート)と、
背面絶縁体と、
前記背面絶縁体の上面の上側に設けられた背面導電性接地層と、
前記少なくとも1つの放射用構成配置の各々に対するRF結合用構成配置であって、前記背面導電性接地層内に形成された窓と、前記窓に対し重なる方向に向けられて前記背面絶縁体の底面の上側に設けられた導電性RF給電パッチとを有し、それぞれの遅延ラインに対しDCオープン及びRF短絡を形成して、RF信号を、開口部を通ってそれぞれの遅延ラインに容量的に結合させ、一方、給電ラインと前記それぞれの遅延ラインとの間に電気的なDC接続が存在しないようにした当該RF結合用構成配置と
を具えるアンテナ。 - 請求項15に記載のアンテナであって、前記VDCプレートの選択領域における誘電率を制御するように構成した電極を更に具えているアンテナ。
- 請求項15に記載のアンテナであって、それぞれの放射用構成配置は、結合パッチであって、前記導電性パッチの隣に設けられ且つ誘電性スペースを跨いで容量的にRF信号を前記導電性パッチに結合する当該結合パッチを更に具え、前記接点は、前記結合パッチと前記遅延ラインとの間に電気的なDC接続を達成する、アンテナ。
- 請求項15に記載のアンテナであって、前記絶縁スペーサがPETを有しているアンテナ。
- 請求項15に記載のアンテナであって、前記RF給電パッチに直交しているとともに前記背面導電性接地層内に形成された第2の窓に対し重なる方向に向けられている第2のRF給電パッチを具えているアンテナ。
- 請求項15に記載のアンテナであって、前記遅延ラインが蛇行する導電性ラインを有しているアンテナ。
